I started a thread for ivf in September but ended up having a freeze all cycle and lots of people on said thread have moved on to BFPs etc. Due to have FET at the start of November so hoping to chat to others in a similar situ ☺️

Bit about me: first ever round, been trying for 2 years, have blocked tubes and have 14 embryos in the freezer thanks to successful egg collection in September.

Was wondering how everyone is doing.

We have our 7 week viability scan on Thursday, so please wish us luck!

Hi @lumili i had a scan on Thursday that confirmed that I’m 6 weeks pregnant. I have a hematoma which caused some bleeding hence me thinking it was over. We’re still not out of the woods with it but did see a tiny heartbeat 💓 which was incredible. We’ll go back in 10 days for what will hopefully be our 8 week scan so they can assess the hematoma then. Thank you @lumili how is your partner doing? I’m so exhausted I had to get into bed at 9:30 😴 my boobs are a bit sore too and I think my appetite has increased but that could just be me making excuses for eating so much 😬 my tummy is a bit all over the place too if you know what I mean but not sure if that’s maybe the progesterone? Anyway hope you’re both doing well. Got everything crossed for your scan x

@MrsBP15 my partner has been exhausted too and is in bed and asleep by 10pm most nights and funnily enough was speaking to me earlier about how much she is eating and how sore her boobs are!! Hopefully these are all positive signs!!
We are both nervous about the scan on Thursday!! xx

@monica3287 I'm in sussex too! I will be starting a new cycle in Jan after novembers one was abandoned prior to EC. Will be on menopur and gonal this time rather than rekovelle.

Update on me and looking for support/wisdom. I’m 10dp3dt. Have been feeling positive and managing to distract myself up until today. I’ve had some cramp/bellyache; feeling very full if that makes sense. One boob is enlarged and sore along with some tiny brown flecks in discharge (sorry!). Pregnancy blood test is scheduled for Monday.

Hi lovely ladies, not sure if any of you are still around on this thread, but if you are Happy New Year. Thought I would share our good news and say that we had a private scan on Wednesday and baby is now measuring 11 weeks 3 days and all is well.

I had four embryos graded as good enough to freeze; we did PGT-A and they were all aneuploid. We were going to try again but it just broke us (we're not a couple; we were friends, so less of a discussion about it). I'm going to have a go on my own next month. Thanks for asking. I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly.

@SarahAndQuack i didn’t do pgt-a I wasn’t sure what to do! I’m so sorry they didn’t make it through testing. I hope your journey goes better this time around. Living on my nerves a little. Lots of hugs for you

we had our 12 week scan (actually 13 weeks) on Thursday and all is looking good so far 😊 feels a bit more like I can breathe now…

Awwwww @MrsBP15 this is so beautiful to see- congratulations! I had my transfer on Friday,it seems an absolute lifetime ago that I commented on this thread when I was starting stims! Hope you are feeling ok xx

Aw thank you @Cosyseason1234 thats so exciting about your transfer got everything crossed for you! I feel pretty ok truth be told. Last week was a little rough with headaches and tiredness but generally speaking I’m not finding it too bad. That may change but for now I’m very glad!x

Quite obviously, anyone who is on this thread and not on any pregnancy threads, isn't pregnant. I do understand you might not have realised that with the first few excited updates, and I assumed you were just being a bit thoughtless. But quite obviously, people who did IVF in November and aren't on pregnancy threads with you, are dealing with IVF that didn't work out.

There is a reason why people post in a subforum about infertility, rather than on the regular conception/pregnancy threads. Please respect that.

Yes I understand that, however there are people that I am in touch with still on here and I have been messaging privately but for some reason am not able to.

i have been going thought IVF on and off for about 12 years, so fully understand how it goes and on other posts I have been on in past years, I always found it comforting to know that it had worked for some, even though it hadn’t worked for me! Appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion.

this is why I have posted in the nov chat and not a recent one as most people are not ‘watching’ this one anymore now!

I apologise if I have upset anyone, that was not my intention!
As I say, on other threads I have been on, I have always welcomed good news stories and have loved seeing their updates, never once did I tell them to knock it off!
I will leave it there!
