Anyone doing FET/IVF in November 2024?✨

I started a thread for ivf in September but ended up having a freeze all cycle and lots of people on said thread have moved on to BFPs etc. Due to have FET at the start of November so hoping to chat to others in a similar situ ☺️

Bit about me: first ever round, been trying for 2 years, have blocked tubes and have 14 embryos in the freezer thanks to successful egg collection in September.

@Scorbunny2 waiting for that call wasn’t much fun, so I hope you had some distractions over the weekend, and today!

we have our test day on Friday 22nd - not feeling urge to test yet - and feeling all the usual stuff, some bad sleeping, waking up at 2am. Those pessaries mean serious business don’t they.

Our embryo was an ‘AC’ grade - but in the end we were able to freeze a 5BB on day 6, so we’re not getting hopes up, just see what comes.

How many others testing this week?

@monica3287 we didn’t have the urge to test, until today, but have decided to wait until tomorrow, which is the day before the clinic told us!

So exciting @lumili i have everything crossed for you and your partner. A 5AA is amazing. Excited for you to test tomorrow.

I had a 4AA FET transferred so keeping fingers crossed although I’m trying not to read too much into gradings. We were really lucky and we managed to get 10 embryos which have been frozen which still can’t believe so that’s what I’m holding onto if this one doesnt work.

@monica3287 my test day is also Friday but I’ll defo be testing earlier as I’ve had some spotting. Hope everyone is doing ok xx

@monica3287 my partner is doing well thanks. She has had all sorts of symptoms, but we aren’t reading anything into any of them because depending which way you want to spin them they can be representative of it working or not working 🙈

@R89 we were very lucky to have 6 really good embryos from our transfer, so have 5 in the freezer, which does provide a bit of a light relief if it doesn’t work this time around! 10 embryos for you, that’s amazing! You are right about the grades though, as there are many ladies who have been successful with grade c/d embryos and to think that our clinic didn’t want to freeze those ones and have let them go, does make me sad!!

I'm struggling with a headache last 2 days and nausea on and off.

I got the premom tests and will try tomorrow as its day 10

Last try it's had period by now so nothing this time which is positive!! Feel a lot different in general.
Symptoms never really say either way as period and implantation symptoms are similar so it's not good to get bogged down so you are so right!

So i ordered those tests and just got delivered and I caved. Theres a very faint line but not gonna get ahead of myself. I'm going to test again tomorrow and continue for next few days.

that is exciting @ClaireBear101 .... when was your OTD again? I think you mentioned not your first round - how are you feeling?

@monica3287 our OTD is Sunday and and it's day 10 since transfer. (3 day transfer though)
I'm gonna keep testing.
This is 4th try between iui and ivf as we're same sex it wasn't infertility issues just impossibility haha.
We have finger and toes crossed but all 3 previous times I also had no nausea and had period by now.
We are feeling super positive

Girls how many of ye did pgt testing on embryos?

we have just done the same thing and tested early, and we actually have 2 lines!! We are still on the rollercoaster!! Trying not to get ahead of ourselves yet as test day is meant to be Weds!

@lumili right we shall update eachother daily!!! Fingers crossed the two lines continue!

Still a line today so feeling hopeful.
No sign of period which would usually be here by now.
So yea still good!

@ClaireBear101 glad you still have a line. We did another test against 430am 🙈 and I have to be honest and say I’m worried as it is a faint line but definitely a line there. It’s the same as yesterday’s and would have expected it to have got darker today!

@lumili trust me it wouldn't be darker in such a short space. Mines same. At this 2 years and from some one who never got a line at all. This is all still very hopeful.

Good morning! Gutted today, I had egg collection yesterday and 10 eggs were retrieved. Only 3 have now made it to day 1, I was expecting maybe 6 or 7, since the average is about 70%. Not great expectations from these 3. I will get another call tomorrow to see if an earlier, day 3 transfer might be an option. I’m 38 and AMH is 15.

@FondantEclair it's not over till it's over. I had only 3 eggs get to day 3 and 2 back in and 1 no use for freezing.
I'm feeling positive this time worked and I had a nurse tell me it might be better to stop before EC and try in January again!
All about quality not quantity.

@FondantEclair onour first round at 35 years of age 7 years ago we got 8 on collection and only 3 made it. We have a little boy from it. It only takes one egg. Was it IVF or ICSI?
