Anyone doing IVF round in September?✨

Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone else was doing ivf in September and fancied some company? We’re starting our first round next week! I’m also happy to join existing threads if anyone knows of any on here? As ever, sending baby dust and the best of vibes to one and all ☺️💫✨❤️

I am on cyclogest pessaries, 3 times a day. Lubion hasn't been mentioned to me either

I’m on cyclogest too. In case it’s relevant to anyone: I was having some issues with the pessaries and worried a couple hadn’t taken and my nurse said to me they are much less important if you have a fresh cycle compared to a frozen one.

AF has started yipppeee!!! A very strange thing to get excited about but that means that I have started taking my oestrogen tablets and left a message at my clinic to let them know. This means I should be having my transfer this cycle!!!! Yay!!!!! Waited so long and was getting very jealous of everyone. If you’re currently having that feeling right now I totally get it and know exactly how you feel. Be strong!!! Right so now I’m googling possible transfer dates haha

I am on pessaries too, haven't been suggested to use anything else so will wait and see but I am having 2 per day not 3! 🙏

Still no growth. So upped my meds and back on Monday again.

Not sure how much longer I can do this.

@Cloverhoof1234 I hope Monday goes well for you. It’s such a hard situation, the waiting. That’s what so much of this process seems to be; various stages of waiting and hoping for the best. Good luck for tomorrow

Aww thank you!! Trying to solider on. Waiting for another batch of meds to arrive Monday and fingers crossed Monday is positive!

Waiting and worrying! Yes! So much of it. 8 really don't like the fermadel injections. Seem huge!😣

Hi everyone hope you’re all having a good weekend? I was out all day yesterday for my mum’s birthday and did a lot of walking so feeling really tired today. Plus we started morning injections yesterday and because of work we’re doing them at 7am so alarm going off at 6:30 on a weekend day is a real treat….not!! I’m on fermadal too, are people doing them in the tummy area? Leaflet said leg but online and clinic advice is either. I have more padding in my tummy 🤪

@SlinkMcSlink i know the feeling! My period was “late” by a day or two so I was tearing my hair out wanting to get started. Got everything crossed for you x

@MrsBP15 what day are you up to? I’m just on estrogen tablets as this is just a transfer cycle so hoping within the next 10-12 days they will scan and start progesterone injections to time ovulation and then have the transfer. I’ve mapped a window in my mind for it to be sometime during the last week of September but I’m on a medicated cycle so they could manipulate it earlier or later.

How has everyone’s periods been since starting IVF? I’m in a bit of pain with this one. Good job it’s the weekend. Nothing worse than getting your period on a Monday morning!

@SlinkMcSlink I’m on day 7 with EC due to happen on Saturday. I’m aware this could change depending on how the scan goes tomorrow.

im probably not the best yard stick for periods as mine are extremely heavy and painful so anything less than that is a bonus! Hope you’re not feeling too crappy x

Hi everyone! I've just taken my last progesterone tablet so it's now waiting for my period to begin. Hopefully on Wednesday and then start my injections on Thursday!

Morning all! I had my first scan and things are looking pretty good. Only left ovary responding but ten follicles with the largest measuring at 15mm. Got another scan on Wednesday with EC being bought forward to Friday. I think they’ll be a few of us doing it that day if I’m right? The consultant was really pleased with our progress and said the follicles were beautiful which I’ll take 😊

Great news @MrsBP15! My EC is also planned for Friday but I will know more on Wednesday. I am really looking forward to my scan to see how many follicules are growing. I am still frustrated with my clinic for not scheduling any progress scans before 10 days of stims but only 2 more days to wait!
I am developing a mild cold at the moment so I am doing everything I can not to get sick because I am scared they would cancel my cycle otherwise 😭

@YellowTack get the high dose vit C into ya! I had a cold start a few days before my EC, the day before it I was actually quite ill but was taking high strength vit C and I was grand then for EC and it wasn't cancelled or anything!

We're possibly in for EC Friday too. Had growth on yesterday's scan. But a lot of follicles. Possibly 20 on each side! Vvv worried about ohss now😯

Thank you @YellowTack i hope your scan goes well tomorrow. We’ve got another one tomorrow too so only two in total. I was expecting to have loads from all the stories I’ve hear but hey ho! I reckon you’ll be grand ☺️ I hope you’re feeling a bit better and are managing to rest a little bit?

@Cloverhoof1234 thats great that you’ve got lots but I understand it must be a little concerning too. Did they say anything about OHSS? Presumably they would if they were worried.

They might change you to a freeze all collection just incase of OHSS, so just be prepared! Happened me also as I had over 30 follicles. I was really disappointed but actually glad in the end as I was very sore for a few days afterward and my body is ready for transfer now (on Friday) not much waiting in between I had my EC on 16th August 😊
