Anyone doing IVF round in September?✨

I was just wondering if anyone else was doing ivf in September and fancied some company? We’re starting our first round next week! I’m also happy to join existing threads if anyone knows of any on here? As ever, sending baby dust and the best of vibes to one and all ☺️💫✨❤️

@teampacey Veryyyy. Tomorrow all day I have no access to my phone so it’ll be a very long day for me. My first, I got a faint BFP at 4dp5dt and a darker more obvious one at 5dp5dt. This time, I got an optical illusion at 5dp5dt and then a more obvious, less questionable one 6dp5dt with an early blast.

@Daniki they didn’t say why the expectation is. I didn’t think to ask either tbf. The wait it super annoying but it unfortunately has to be done! Fingers crossed for you Friday. I’ll
update tomorrow evening re my outcome.

OMG I so should not have asked. Now feeling very excited! 3dp5dt tomorrow eeeeek!

What is also very weird is that my eldest is 16 on Monday! How can my tiny baby be so grown up and how mad am I to be starting over again (hopefully!)

@PurpleRayne89 I'm hoping that no phone access will actually be helpful for you- might make the day go quicker as you know you're not waiting for a call. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I could be very wrong there though lol!

@teampacey I am in a hearing all day so I can’t access my phone or laptop. So I will get some news around 5pm perhaps or maybe during a recess. I don’t want to check until after work in case it ruins my day. I’ll update either way here ☺️

Yes that sounds sensible. Last thing you need is that distracting you. Even good news would be distracting if you're anything like me- I'd keep getting a little bubble of excitement and thinking about all the things I need to do!

I know! I still feel about 24 so very odd having an almost grown up daughter. She's desperate for a little sibling so 🤞 I've got her one for her birthday - not that she'll even know until much later but I'll hopefully know!

So I’ve caved and did a digital test. Negative. Gutted. I’m 9 days past 5 day frozen transfer so not supposed to test until Friday morning. I’ve upset myself.

@SlinkMcSlink try not to be too upset, the digitalis aren't as sensitive you may not have enough hcg yet. 🙏🤞🏻 for you x

@SlinkMcSlink Sorry to hear your outcome. However, let’s see how it goes. Continue with meds and stay positive. I’m not feeling hopeful right now. I’ve had no symptoms, some cramping which is scaring me and my tests at 9dp5dt aren’t progressed as much as I’d like and I’m still getting 1-2 weeks on CBD. Top is yesterday and dry so will be darker and bottom is a few moments ago. Not much urine but whatever.

I just feel like my lines should be darker by now and more progressed. My pregnancy with my son, by 8dp5dt I had 2-3 weeks on CBD. So I’m a bit down and not feeling great!

Some clearer ones here perhaps … Do these look light for 9dp5dt??

@SlinkMcSlink I’m sorry to hear that. I was in a Mumsnet group like this in May and everyone seemed to be getting good news but me. I felt happy for them but really sad and depressed. I tried again and hopefully this is my good news story. What I’m saying is, if it doesn’t happy this cycle, it will the next!!! Lipids was the one thing different about this cycle to the others!

Hi everyone! New to the forum, and to the world of IVF! My DH and I are 38 and were diagnosed with unexplained infertility earlier this year, and finally got to the top of the treatment list recently. We started the process on September 8th and so far all seems to have gone smoothly - from starting injections to embryo transfer the process took 17 days. Now I'm just waiting it out until I can take a test on 7th October, though I'm tempted to start testing a couple of days early as 7th is a Monday/workday, so in case of disappointment I'd like time to come to terms with it first (I'm a teacher so I have to plaster on that positive face for my pupils). Has anyone else done this before and had an accurate early test? Good luck to everyone going through this currently 🙂

I did the tests before and had both BFN and BFP, but in both situations nothing was definitive until the blood test, so it was just getting on my nerves. But it might be a good idea to perhaps test on Sun? It’s just 1 day ahead.

Sorry to hear that :( try not to get too upset and perhaps do another one tomorrow?

BFN for me this time :( have been there 4 times now and still devastating every time :(

I'm feeling really down today. I'm 3dp5dt but just feel absolutely certain it hasn't worked. Trying to keep busy but struggling to get motivated today.

@teampacey try and keep positive it's so early! I was the same convinced it hadn't worked, as I just couldn't see how it would after trying for so long.
I got my beta results back, 1615! They were 243 on the 25th and then 1615 on the 1st so hoping that's a good enough increase 😩🥹

Hey, sorry about the not do good news you may have gotten today. So my bloods at 9dt5dt were 66.9 my clinic aren’t concerned. I’ll have a private beta tomorrow at 8:15 hopefully results are returned same day and I’ll update again.

lovely to read so many positive tests on this group ☺️ sending strength to those that did not work this time.

Need a little advise / chat. We had EC Tuesday, 11 collected, 7 fertilised. Just had call for day 3 update to be told we now have 8 fertilised but only 3 good and 5 poor.
not sure how I’m meant to feel about this? I didn’t get any grades. Would grades make a difference on how I feel or go with 3 good, 5 poor? felt teary when I hung up. Maybe was expecting more good quality. How did everyone else feel?

Thanks @Daniki it's so hard. I think I had a vvvvvfl last night and this morning but could possibly be the trigger still. I'm feeling more positive today.

@MrsMc14 so I got 7 fertilised and we got daily updates- on day 3 they just told us high quality, medium quality and then on day 5 they told me I had 3 good ones and they graded them then. I wouldn't be too worried as they seem to all grow at different rates. When is your transfer? Sunday? So exciting!

@PurpleRayne89 that's great, I think they like it to be over 50 at 9dp so I hope you get a great number after todays test! Any result?

@teampacey that's so exciting I hope it's not the trigger! And the lines get nice and dark, keep us updated I love seeing people get their positives! How long ago did you take trigger?

@MrsMc14 it's all such an overwhelming process, but I wouldn't get too bogged down on the quality of egg as I see loads of posts of "poor" quality egg working out completely fine 🥰

@MrsMc14 Sorry to hear you’re upset. My son was conceived from a 3BC one grade lower and they would have discarded. The current one in me now was an early blast day 5. In pregnant… Quality doesn’t mean much in my case. The embryologist explained it to me like this. All people produce different quality eggs which works for them as individual. She said I produce eggs if this quality and I’ve become pregnant from
this cohort. You can’t compare or even think your ones won’t have any success.
