Anyone doing IVF round in September?✨

I was just wondering if anyone else was doing ivf in September and fancied some company? We’re starting our first round next week! I’m also happy to join existing threads if anyone knows of any on here? As ever, sending baby dust and the best of vibes to one and all ☺️💫✨❤️

Hope everyone is doing ok. I ended up in hospital yesterday thanks to suspected OHSS. Everything came back normal but I was sick on Sunday night so I think they just wanted to be sure. I’ll go back on Thursday for more tests just to check. I’ve decided to work from home this week so I’m taking it easy. Right now I feel fine maybe a little sore in my tummy and I’ve had a bit of acid reflux plus feeling really full? Anyway we’ll see I’m in good hands and they said to come in if I’m sick again or anything. Had a call from embryologist on Sunday, next call is tomorrow then I need to contact the specialist to find out what the hell we’re going to do next!!

@MrsBP15 sorry to hear you had to go to the hospital, hopefully you feel better now and will have time to rest.

I woke up during the night on Saturday with an awful abdominal pain, I thought I was going to die and I woke my husband up in panic. I think it was something I ate and not the procedure. I still have some cramps but not as painful, I will see how this evolves but I am taking things easy this week. My cold is back as well, I think this is just my body telling me I need to rest.

Transfer is planned for tomorrow, I am excited but also a bit nervous as I still don’t know how the little embryos are going!

@YellowTack sounds scary! Glad you are ok too. How exciting- bet you can't wait to hear how they have got on!

Good luck for your ET tomorrow @YellowTack 🙏 my advice would be to have a pen and paper ready for when they call as they will give you lots of information so it's great to write it down and reflect afterwards ☺️

Just had my day 11 scan. My lining measured 8.3 so apparently that’s good and transfer will be on Monday 23rd. My test day will be Friday 4th October.

Sorry to hear you've had a bit of a rough time @MrsBP15 but glad to hear you're feeling a bit better, definitely a good idea to take it easy and it's reassuring that they're keeping a close eye on you. I hope between the embryologist and specialist you get the info you need and more of a plan put in place tomorrow 🤞

@MrsBP15 Feel better soon! Frozen cycles feel so long but get your body back to 100% and then you’ll be good to go!

@Painty04 I am! My EC was on 03/07 so it feels like forever!

Just pondering. Is anyone on a frozen cycle and panicking that their frozen embryo won’t make it through the defrosting stage? I’m worrying about that now.

@SlinkMcSlink it's such a low percentage that happens to so keep that out of your head! Positive thoughts, everything will turn out right 🙏

Yes @Daniki . Keep very calm!! Hold out a few more days. What is your official test day? I asked the nurse today and she told me 11 days after transfer but I’ve seen a range of people being told to wait 11-14 days. Guess it also depends on how many days the embryo was frozen at too! X

@SlinkMcSlink OTD is Wednesday week, my clinic does 12 days after transfer! It will be a long week for me 😂

@SlinkMcSlink I'm for transfer on Saturday, also a bit worried about the thaw but like @Daniki says its such a low percentage that don't survive the process. We only have one embryo from this round so we've a lot riding on this one. It's been a bit weird not taking any medication this time!

I am just back from my embryo transfer, we got to see the little embryo 🥹.
The procedure was straightforward but I find it hard to realise that I know have an embryo inside of me! I am now part of the TWW club, I already can’t wait to test and it’s only been a couple of hours.

The clinic managed to get 2 blastocyst out of our 3 fertilised eggs, which is great. However they don’t use the standard classification so I am a bit lost on what grade they were but I have been told the one transferred is an expanded blastocyst 1.1, and the other one that is going to be frozen is a full blastocyst 1.1. Has anyone else used this classification?
