Starting a new thread for those now on a freeze all from May and any others x

@Gnatalie16
@EvaA17
@Seasidegirll

Hope you're all feeling ok post EC. 💕
Has anyone had any idea of timescale when the withdrawal bleed will be and how many periods before the FET cycle?

@Kaybee1989 good luck and really hope you get the positive test results. How are you feeling? Do you think you will be testing earlier?

@Sunnydaysahead1 ahh typical isn't it. This was me, I've never wished for my period this bad other than this time round and when I started my stims in May. For 2.5 years I've been praying for my period not to start so this definitely feels odd to want it to come 🤣 what prep are your clinic doing with you and what medication are you taking?

@Loute02 ahh I know it's hard when this happens, but hopefully you can start preparing for your FET as planned end of July. Maybe speak to your clinic about the early period but also your body might just be trying to regulate after all the hormones xx

Kaybee1989 · 06/07/2024 06:27

@Sunnydaysahead1 That’s great, now let’s goooo!! How’re you feeling with the hormones?
@EvaA17 Thank you 🥰 I’m feeling fine, a bit tired but that could just be work and life in general, but I’ve noticed that smells are more intense than normal not making me sick or anything just strong. I’m trying not to overthink it because it could be due to all the meds I’m on but then there’s the glimmer of hope that it’s a positive sign!
Am I gonna test early? That’s the big question 🙈 I don’t want to wait until we go to the clinic next Monday but I want to do it with my husband. He goes to work really early in the morning so we’d probably do it Saturday before the Monday at the clinic 🤷🏼‍♀️ or can I test in the evening? Would it still show up? Im dying to know but also scared to find out if it’s a bfn

Hollielouise · 06/07/2024 07:50

Thanks @EvaA17 ☺️ I've been terrible with this thread! Today is OTD at 12dpt - finally made it... though have been testing since 4dp5dt 🫠

I've got my first Beta on Monday and scan is the 23rd July at 6w6days. I don't think I'll relax until then!

How are you feeling?

Is anyone post transfer? It's definitely the toughest 2ww! Sending hugs x

@Hollielouise ahhhhh a MASSIVE congratulations. This is so amazing to see. Super happy for you. Haha I can imagine the testing starting early and where there is no trigger shot to worry about, I know I'd start testing early too.

Aww I can only imagine the nerves but fingers crossed it all goes well on Monday.

From going through stims together and then being postponed to freeze all, I'm so glad you created this thread so we could still be with each other on this part of the journey. 🤍

I'm just feeling sick and nauseous from the estradiol, on day 5 now. So let's hope my scan goes well on the 15th so I can have my transfer soon.

Xx

EvaA17 · 06/07/2024 08:14

@Kaybee1989 ahh I think by then it might come up on the Saturday evening. How many days post transfer will you be then? Can you test on the Sunday evening at all if you want to do it with husband?

kirstysmbc · 06/07/2024 08:15

@Hollielouise Congrats, that's a wonderful strong line! Good luck for the next wait through to scan 😊 I'm always an early tester too, I'd rather know what's going on an prepare early.

kirstysmbc · 06/07/2024 08:18

@Kaybee1989 I always test early, starting at 4dpt and always had an accurate response by 5dpt, even if it's only a very faint positive. I'd only use a very sensitive test like first response early result and bear in mind that some people don't get their bfp until 6 or 7 dpt. Good luck if you do test!

Hoppy1985 · 06/07/2024 09:50

@KKaybee1989 try and hold out as long as you can and don't tear super early! Everyone's body is different and I'd hate you to have the unnecessary upset I had. If you're going to test the eve though just get a decent one like the first response early one 🙂

@EvaA17 ah thanks my love. I'm trying to go into it positive but I think i'm thinking the worst, hoping for the best. One step at a time, embryo has to survive the defrost first 🤞🏽

Hoppy1985 · 06/07/2024 09:52

Loute02 · 05/07/2024 21:11

So I was hoping to start my medication next Friday but my periods decided to show 10 days early after a very very short cycle of 17 days 😔 the day before taking the plane to go on holiday so did not have my medication ready 🥲
So it looks like my next period should start last week of July if my body behaves better! Gutted to have to wait longer and more worries added to mind as to why my last cycle was so short!
Good luck to you all 😊

@LLoute02 mine is due around 20th July so I'll be on a similar time frame. What protocol are you on in terms of meds?

Sunnydaysahead1 · 06/07/2024 11:24

Oh wow huge congratulations @Hollielouise! That’s so wonderful to see! How are you feeling??

@EvaA17 I’m doing a modified natural cycle so I’ll just be doing a trigger injection (unless I ovulate naturally) and then 5 days of progesterone before the transfer, and will continue the progesterone through the tww

@Kaybee1989 its so hard not to overthink the symptoms isn’t it! I really hope it goes well for you 🤞🏼

I had my baseline scan yesterday and unfortunately wasn’t great as they found a 7cm cyst on one of my ovaries so I’m currently on my way to a blood test to see if it’s producing hormones. This happened in the last cycle too and luckily was fine, but this time the cyst is bigger and it’s potentially too big to do a cycle with. I’ve got another scan booked for Thursday so I’m really hoping it will have shrunk a bit by then! I’ve got endometriosis as well so I’m currently in the thick of pain and it’s hard to imagine anything can flourish down there! Just feeling pessimistic today but hopefully everything is ok.

Wishing everyone a lovely Saturday 😊

Kaybee1989 · 06/07/2024 21:57

@EvaA17 @kirstysmbc @Hoppy1985 @Sunnydaysahead1 Thanks guys! We’ve decided to test together tomorrow (Sunday) morning which will be 6dp5dt. I just can’t wait anymore but my husband is so supportive and positive saying don’t worry if it doesn’t show positive yet because we’ll try again on Weds which would be day 10. Fingers crossed for me ladies, this is my first pregnancy test ever 🙈 let’s hope it’s a good’en 🤞🏻
@Hollielouise Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you 🥲 I hope I can join you in the celebrations real soon 🤞🏻Any tips to help with the TWW until the beta test?

Hollielouise · 07/07/2024 09:29

Thanks everyone! 🥰 Still doesn't feel real and I have to keep reminding myself it's not a trigger shot!

@Kaybee1989 I was terrible at waiting! I started testing at 4DPT as I just felt different and had my first very faint positive. Keeping busy is the only thing that helped! I have a 3y old so I had my hands full but still didn't last long before testing 😅. Have you tested today? Fingers crossed for you! Xx

@Sunnydaysahead1 Thank you ☺️ I'm quite nauseous at night, dizzy if I don't eat enough in the day but otherwise doing ok! Symptoms like sore bbs come and go based on the cyclogest/Prontogest I'm taking, which obviously makes me question constantly 🫠 When do you get your test results? I started my FET with cysts so hopefully you get good news.

@kirstysmbc Thank you 🥰 I'm in awe of the late testers! Just can't handle the wait! Where are you in your cycle?

Thank you @EvaA17 🥰🥰 It feels like we've been on this journey for a long time! Fingers Crossed for your scan. My first scan my lining was 8.4mm and triple but they still made me wait another 3 days as it had only been 6 days of Progynova. Really hope you're ready. Do you split the pills to help with side effects? I still take 4, one at a time split through the day.

@Kaybee1989 I hope it went well if you tested today! And if it didn’t remember it’s still early ❤️ I’ve got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Hollielouise ooh sorry to hear about the nausea at night time, I’m glad you’re ok otherwise though. Is the nausea comforting in some way? And that’s really helpful to know you started with cysts too and got your positive result 😊 I should get my blood test results tomorrow, and then have a scan on Thursday to see if it’s shrunk, so they’ll decide if we can go ahead with the cycle at that point 🤞🏼

Kaybee1989 · 07/07/2024 21:07

Yes I tested this morning and it was negative, no matter how much I squinted at it or took it into a different light. Definitely nothing. 😔 Today’s been a hard day but tomorrow is a new one and no matter what happens, we will be okay. It’s hard to accept the result when it’s disappointing but I need to have a little hope still and fingers crossed 🤞🏻 the beta test will be hopefully positive next Monday.

Sunnydaysahead1 · 07/07/2024 21:26

Ohhh @Kaybee1989 I’m so sorry to hear that, it’s such a gut wrenching feeling. But there’s definitely still chance it could all change in the next few days 🤞🏼❤️

Faith2024 · 07/07/2024 22:43

Hi all. I am hoping to do my first transfer end of this month (around 22nd). It’s a medicated FET. I had a baseline scan last week and everything was fine and now on day 5 of estrogen. I feel a little hopeful that there will be no delays this month as we had to postpone last month.

I am not sure where everyone is at but it would be good to share with others on the same journey. Wishing all of us the best of luck.

EvaA17 · 08/07/2024 07:11

@Hollielouise yes so I'm splitting the pills throughout the day, I'm taking it with the three meals, I think that works better for me although my nurse did say I could take them in one go together - I think that would make me feel worse tbh.

Do you have to keep taking the pills throughout until about 12/16 weeks or just the pessaries?

Fingers crossed for today and your scan on the 23rd xx

EvaA17 · 08/07/2024 07:17

@Kaybee1989 aww I'm so sorry to hear but there is hope and fingers crossed you have a positive result next Monday. This whole process and everything is so cruel and definitely tests our strength and emotions. But you've got this and really hoping for some positive news for you.

@Faith2024 welcome! Glad everything is going well for you so far - fingers crossed it remains this way. Is this your first round/first FET?
I am on day 7 of estrogen and doing it on my natural cycle, I have the 14 day scan on 15th July and then don't know when transfer will be, either 19th or 20th I think but depends on the scan results. This will be my first transfer as I started Stims in early May but due to risk of OHSS I had freeze all xx

Faith2024 · 08/07/2024 09:07

Thanks @EvaA17 . I did embryo batching due to low reserve as I am in my early 40s. We are trying for our 2nd child, we did 3 cycles and genetic testing, we started in January so I am really happy to reach this point. This will be our first transfer. Just hoping for the best!

My scan is also in the 15th but that will be day 12 or 13 for me. They will have an estimate of transfer then. It’s likely to be week of 22nd.

kirstysmbc · 08/07/2024 09:34

@Hollielouise I'm on day 4 of my progynova tabs now, with a scan next Monday to check lining. Never had lining issues before, so fingers crossed everything is looking good by then.

@Kaybee1989 Sorry about your negative test yesterday, but definitely don't count yourself out just yet. Keeping everything crossed for a positive test for you come beta day 🤞🤞

@Faith2024 Looks like we could be transfer buddies as I'm hoping for a 22nd transfer too, assuming all is good with my lining scan next Monday. Also trying for a sibling to my 2.5 year old, but I'm using donor eggs now due to my age.

Hoppy1985 · 08/07/2024 09:56

@KKaybee1989 sorry you didn't get the result you were hoping for but there's definitely still a chance it will come back positive later x

Faith2024 · 08/07/2024 10:46

@kirstysmbc sounds like we will be transfer buddies :-) Of course everything also depends on scan on 15th so I am hoping that the lining is where it should be. Not long to go now.

Becky105 · 09/07/2024 14:13

Hi guys,
Can I join you all? I'm on a similar timescale to some of you. I had egg collection in April (after 3 previous failed implantations - 1 fresh and 2 frozen). My clinic asked me to wait a full cycle, so now I started day 1 of this cycle on 7th July and started taking prognova.

I'm initially booked in for a scan on 23rd then hoping for transfer soon after that.

Already feeling very tired with a possible headache brewing... Aww the joys

Kaybee1989 · 09/07/2024 15:50

Thanks everyone for your support, the negative test was a real hard pill to swallow but like most said it was too early, so I’m holding onto a bit of hope that I’ll get a positive result soon. The clinic said that I can test tomorrow (Weds) and then beta test on Monday pm. So the nerves start again for tomorrow morning 😩🫣
@Becky105 Welcome and wishing you loads of luck 🍀
