so half would be
-125ui 17th 4:30 am
-62.5ui 18th 10:30am
-31ui 19th 4:30pm
-16ui 20th 10:30pm
-8ui 22nd 4:30am
-4ui 23rd 10:30 am
-2ui 24th 4:30pm

this is just a rough guide .. everyone’s body’s different and css as n take a bit longer /quicker to go .. but you just basically half the dose by every 30 ish hours. Hope this helps

Just a little update from me. Had EC this morning and got 4 eggs, bit disappointing from last times 7 (and on long protocol this time). But trying best to stay positive and just keep everything crossed for the next stage.

Yes - It is always a risk with PCOS and high numbers sadly.

I haven't taken anything - feel like my clinic should have given me something before today based on your numbers and having it! Do you take the Cabergoline at night?

Congrats on 4 eggs! Hopefully you’ll have some nice embryos on Wednesday! Will you be doing a fresh transfer? How are you feeling?

Thankyou so much. That’s so kind of you, so by tomorrow it should be totally gone judging by this timeframe. And makes sense there’s a little trace today.

@Hollielouise Sorry to hear you are disappointed for not being able to have a transfer, but even if you feel great your body will have taken a battering so it’s definitely for the best. Rest up and take care of yourself and I’m sure the next couple of months will roll by quickly and you’ll be able to have a wonderful little embryo transferred. ☺️

I had my 3rd scan and the one growing on the right ovary they think will be ready .. she was really happy with the result it had speeded up .. 6 from the left and 1 from the right .. the 6 from the left still included the lead follicle so they are thinking they might get that also or it might go ‘overcooked’ as she said .. either way we are looking at 7 or 6 folicles so that’s good for me I am happy with that. They will call tonight as might scan tomorrow again and have EC Monday or might wait till Monday to scan with EC Wednesday , she wanted to consult with the team and get back to me as what is the best decision to make 🤞🏽

I’ve just had a scan and I’ve got a LOT of free flowing fluid 😩 so we are going to have to
do a freeze all! Absolutely gutted but I know it’s for the best, I’m feeling really rough!

@Seasidegirll I'm so sorry 😔 Feel as though we've had very similar days so far. I'm feeling all the same emotions and understand the conflict of what's best and what you had hoped for 💕

@Hollielouise@Seasidegirll so sorry that you will have to wait. It will be so frustrating for you both I am sure. The most important thing is getting you both back to 100% health before putting your wee embryos in. Sending you both massive get well hugs 💖won’t be too long and you will have your embryos snug and cosy settling where they should be soon.

@Seasidegirll argh, sorry to hear that. Appreciate it must be so disappointing to be thrown of your expected timescale. But as you say it’s defo for the best. I actually know someone whose clinic went ahead with the fresh transfer despite high risk for OHSS and it was awful, ended up pregnant and hospitalised needing morphine and all sorts poor thing. She definitely feels her clinic should have waited, (luckily she has a healthy 2 year old now but early pregnancy was very stressful for her).

@AnnieStar12 I also caved and tested early ha! I’m 3dp5dt. I got an extremely faint line, won’t show up on camera sort of thing on a Frer and early detection clear blue. I’m guessing it’s the trigger also. I took mine at 9:30pm on 14/5. I had a double Ovitrelle trigger. Ugh how annoying! Have you got any symptoms? I’ve had lower back pressure and a weird full feeling in my pelvis but I’m putting this down to the cyclogest.

When you say double trigger what dose would that have been? was that like 2 x 250? So would it have been double what I took, or two lower doses?

I have lots of symptoms but pretty sure it’s the progesterone as I felt same on last cycle when it was a BFN - sore boobs, extreme fatigue, cramps and twinges.

I just feel annoyed as I thought I was doing the most sensible thing by testing today but seeing that faint positive has now stressed me out. But then again there is literally no zero-stress way to do this, lol!

@AnnieStar12 Guilty 🥲 yeah, two 250 Ovitrelle two 500 altogether. I’ve had two prior IVF cycles, my second which was successful and I have my 2.5 year old son. I physically felt implantation and I was so certain I tested the following day getting a decent + 4dp5dt. I knew it wasn’t the trigger on that occasion as it was a frozen transfer. This time it’s extremely stressful and confusing.

@AnnieStar12 I have a good feeling about yours! I’ve spent the afternoon at the hairdressers and I’ve googled 250 Ovitrelle trigger and most peoples are much fainter than yours by 7 days past trigger, so I say test again in 2 days time and if it’s darker you’ll know either way. (And btw second pee of the day is fine if you didn’t drink in between, my tests have been darker on my second wee) ☺️🤞I think it’s hard to test out the trigger unless you start like the day after the trigger itself and see it go lighter. Hard to really know without that comparison!

My clinic called me and were helpful. They’ve suggested continuing cyclogest and retesting tomorrow. They said tests with red dye are more sensitive so I’m off to pick up another test which has red dye in it after work. Never knew that! Every day is a school day! 😂

Good luck @2tuxedocats the Boots 5 day early tests are pink dye if you can get those! 🤞 for you tomorrow!

Dr has advised me to reduce the Pergoveris dosage from 275 to 250 and to start the Fyremadel now, I guess so that the lead one doesn't grow too fast? In any case hoping for better progress at the next scan...

@hopefullsosbry That's great news with your third scan! Did you see a big difference in terms of numbers and sizes each scan?

Regarding your earlier question about size, for my first cycle, the clinic decided to trigger shot when they saw that I had 2 follicles around 20mm, 1 around 17-18, and 3 11-12mm, and a few very small ones (like 4-5mm), so I'd assume by the time of EC 2 days later I would have only 5 follicles large enough, but Dr extracted 7 (only 4 mature), so I'd assume with my clinic they took out ones smaller than >15mm since my very small ones were not likely to have reached that size

@EggsFrozenNow thanks for the reply, yeh I asked the nurse yestarday and she said they will just clear the lot .. any follicles they see they will just try them all ? She didn’t say there was a range that they pick from when I asked that question. I am just going for my 4th scan today ( day 13 of stims.. how many days have you been stimming for now ? Yeh most have grown either 1.5-2mm each day which I think is expected .. my last cycle I had 10 days of stims but I was 39 .. I am 41 now .. are you scanning again today ? Good luck 🤞🏽

Sorry, yesterday felt like a lot from the EC. Just slept a lot and took some time for myself.
I had 25 eggs collected, the clinic have just called me to say that 16 were mature of the 25 and 9 have fertilised successfully. They will give me an update on Monday and then Wednesday decide how many, if any, can be frozen as I am on a freeze all cycle.

@Hollielouise @Seasidegirll we might be on the same freeze cycle - if I have any embryos to freeze!

@PurpleRayne89 are you going to test again today? I decided not to as I think the trigger business is just gonna stress me out too much so will wait a few more days. My partner thinks I should wait till Thursday as that’d be over 2 weeks from trigger and 8dpt so should be accurate either way by then. But I’ll see if I can wait that long!

@EvaA17 my OTD is 31/6 at 9am. Not feeling very hopeful unfortunately but you just never know!!!
