Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

@Sierra26 It’s honestly never ending is it. Even if you get the positive it’s then waiting for the viability scan, then for the 12 weeks scan. 😅 it will be worth it for us all though. 🤞

@lemonyfox Feeling mostly fine on the Progynova. Slight nausea and headaches but nothing too terrible! I have my first scan on Friday to check the lining 🤞🏼

@Sierra26 Exciting that your cycle has started! I also worry about the thaw stats... and then TWW... and the early scan... etc! Never ending 🫠😂 I do think it's very unlikely to have an issue and I think you have a few frozen from what I can remember?

I'm currently CD 6, had my baseline scan last Friday and measuring 4.8 so all good.
Started accupuncture and I have my next scan on the 19th 🤞🏻
I have my last cetrotide injection tomorrow and then I'm just on progynova 2mg three time a day until next week when I have my scan and then will start my progesterone if all ok! It seems to be going really quick now!

@Anna531 Congratulations on the positive test! Hope it gets darker and darker. Are you going to do beta hCG?

@Natty2 Unfortunately, yesterday's scan showed I have a fibroid in addition to a polyp. My TSH result also came up high. Considering all, the doctor has cancelled my cycle 😢Speaking to him tomorrow, will see what he suggests.

@Sierra26 woohoo for your period finally starting! (And hello from the other thread!). We're on similar timelines again then, for EC and now for transfer which is cool - good luck!

@Sherr33 so sorry you’re finding this cycle difficult but you’ve absolutely got this!! Do you have family or friends who know that are supporting you?
although that said even our nearest and dearest don’t really completely get it. Not their fault I had no appreciation of the toll infertility and treatment takes on women before I had to go through it.

@Serendipity24 we just test ourselves at my clinic, let them know and then wait on a scan appointment three weeks later so no beta check.
I'm so sorry to hear about this cycle, it’s so disheartening and nothing makes it feel better at the time. I hope tomorrows appointment goes well and you can get straight after another plan 💕

@Serendipity24 im sorry your cycle got cancelled, mine got cancelled twice before this third attempt. It’s so mentally draining, exhausting!!!

@Sherr33 congratulations on the transfer, our timelines have been very similar, this is my first transfer since my first fresh round. How are you feeling?

I’ve got my OTD blood test on Friday and find out if successful, I’m SO nervous. I don’t have any symptoms, only a couple pings in my stomach every now and then, I also had the tiniest amount of spotting on 3dp5dt. I’m going a natural cycle so have only had top up progesterone (x2 pessaries a day) so I’m not sure if I will just come on my period if it hasn’t been successful as it’s a low dose of progesterone?!? I suppose I will just have to wait and find out on Friday, just keep googling it!!!

how is everyone else? Sorry I’m not good and keeping up with the messages and names!

@Eljane34 how many days has it been since your transfer?
I'm on 7dp5dt and not tested yet, although last couple of days been feeling deflated! I've not had anything to note really, just intermittent cramping since transfer and one tiny bit of pink mucus early hours of 4dpt. I'm on a natural cycle too but 3 pessaries a day and af would normally arrive by tomorrow/ Friday and I just feel like it's coming!

@Sierra26 great that you're getting started. My clinic said it's a really small % of embryos that might not survive the thaw - hopefully you will be fine!

@Natty2 i recognise you from previous groups? It’s been a long 4 months since the initial ICSI! I am 8dp5dt so the blood test seems early for Friday, 10 days instead of the usual 14 but apparently this happens with FETs according to my clinic. I’m not complaining though. I’m not testing, I can’t bring myself to do it, I’m also working and my job is high pressure and have a lot on so I can’t afford to get a negative result and then be too upset to go into work. I also feel like the blood test will tell me the exact level and will be able to indicate if it’s normal. I’m preparing myself for possibility of chemical as ive had 3 chemicals so far.

hopefully both of our bouts of spotting was implantation!!! Fingers crossed for you, when is your OTD and are you doing blood test?

@Eljane34 I transferred mine on Monday so I guess it is 3dp5dt? Or do I count the Monday too :-/ I have had zero symptoms. I have a cold sore, hay fever is driving me bonkers because everytime I sneeze I get the worst knot cramp in my tummy.

I was going to test this Sunday but it would probably be too early and too much upset if it wasn't what I wanted 🙃

@Anna531 I've only told my sister but she's busy with work and kids. And I feel like it's hard to express yourself to someone who hasn't been through it I guess.

@Sherr33 thanks for checking in and asking, it's going fine! Day 3 of progynova, no side effects so far other than some mild headaches 😊 I hope the next week passes really quickly for you, I haven't managed to get to the TWW after a transfer yet but you and everyone else must be going crazy with the waiting!

@Natty2 The pink mucus on day 3 is a god sign I think! Couldn’t that be implantation? 😍

I have finally come on my periods. I was extremely stressed yesterday thinking that I wouldn’t come on and just burst into tears. Peace has now been restored though. I have a scan booked in on 21 June and i need to start testing from then for ovulation.

@Eljane34 ah maybe I've had two rounds of ICSI this year, but first transfer now! Sorry to hear about your 3 chemicals 😔
My otd is Tuesday next week which will be 13 days since transfer, seems longer than most clinics! They don't suggest bloods but depending on the outcome we may pay extra for it.
I'm technically 13dpo tomorrow and Im convinced I have 13 day curse post ovulation where my period always arrives on the dot! Dreading that tomorrow but assuming the pessaries may hold it back.

Really trying hard not to read into too many twinges etc but also find I'm constantly feeling if my boobs are hurting or getting bigger 😂

@amkw yay for your period starting! We all probably understand that relief! You'll feel the same again when you get your lh surge!! Good luck next week 💛

@Sherr33 ive got 3 day-5s frozen.

Still not sure if we’re going to do single or double transfer for first try… how is everyone here making that decision?

I’m on day 2 of progynova and ganirelix. No issues or side effects so far!

@Sierra26 Glad you’ve got no side effects!

My consultant told me that I will be transferring one. I had no choice. I think most clinics try to avoid putting two in though as it’s more high risk.

@Sierra26 Glad it's going well for you. I'm day 5 of Progynova and just have a few headaches.

My clinic also only transfer one - there are a few papers written on how transferring more actually lowers success rates but I know for some it is the right choice.

zero boob pain here and certainly not any bigger- I’d notice as there’d actually be some 😂😂
so much respect holding out for testing, get through tomorrow and the 13 day fear and straight through to Tuesday xx

@Sierra26 we weren’t given a choice which made it a lot easier. I think you can only go with what feels right. I’ve read reasons and research recommending both which doesn’t help xx

All, I don't know what came over me today even though it's my 13dpo. Fmu no blood so I thought maybe I might be ok.. but still felt strong pre period cramps.
Decided to test spontaneously after second wee, and wasn't expecting to see a line at all.
I can't quite believe my eyes at the moment- 8dp5dt

Love some positive news. I've been down in the dumps since yesterday because I dont feel ANYTHING at all this time and I've ruled my self out and yesterday I bawled my eyes out because I just wanted to know what it was so can move forward. Feel so stuck at the moment.

Can someone help me figure out how many days I would be if I transferred on Monday 4pm? Would that be classed as day 1?

@amkw @Sherr33 thank you both, i know it's early days at the moment but 2.5 years ttc and I've never seen that second line. Just hoping it progresses 🤞

@Sherr33 you will be 3dp5dt today and honestly I felt exactly the same, the last two days I've been crying my eyes out thinking my period was coming

thanks all for your responses on 1 vs 2… our clinic said we can do 2 if we want but as we only have 3 it feels like (literally) putting too many of our eggs in one basket 😂 and if it doesn’t work I’d rather know we have two more tries before having to go through EC/IVF cycle again.

@Sherr33 Try and remain positive. I know it’s easier said than done but you’re too early to test imo so just enjoy being maybe pregnant for the time being! ❤️
