Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

3dp5dt today and finding the wait so hard. How early do people test if not waiting for OTD?

@Hollielouise I was trying really hard not to test until close to test day. In the end randomly tested 8dp5dt but I know people test pretty much from day 1!

@Hollielouise I won’t be testing too early, I probably will the day before OTD. I will be too scared to test any earlier.

We have our little embryo onboard! OTD is 8th July 🤞🏻

@Hollielouise keeping everything crossed for us! There's no way I'll hold out waiting until the 8th but my husband has asked me to try 😂

@Hollielouise I'm one of those that @Natty2 mentioned that tests from day one 😂 I can't cope with the wait. Plus I like the ideal of gradual disappointment with each passing day if it hasn't worked. But that's just what works for me, each to their own!!

@Natty2 thank you! Feeling okay, no different tbh. 2DP5DT now, keep veering wildly from optimistic to hoser and convinced it won't work because hardly anyone gets lucky on the first transfer. I'm gonna be a nervous wreck by OTD 😭

Congrats on the transfers @Hollielouise and @lemonyfox - hope everyone else is doing okay, I’ve not been keeping up!

I’ve had three monitoring scans now and 17 days of estrogen but lining still reacting very slowly (7.8mm…). Likely due to ganirelix counter-acting the estrogen. Wish they’d just let me do a natural cycle as I never usually have this issue! Been given extra high dose estrogen now and hopefully get green light at scan on tues. Transfer would be following mon 8th. If not it might get too late in cycle and they’d need to cancel :( so frustrating as I know lots of clinics would transfer at 7mm+ !

Thanks @Sierra26 I did actually cave and tested yesterday at a ridiculously early 4dp5dt and was very shocked as I got a faint positive in the morning on Clear Blue and then a slightly darker one on a FRER in the evening. I'm not sure whether I can believe it yet so waiting 48h to test again 🫣

That's understandably frustrating for your lining. I just did the oestrogen and then once at 8.4mm had the progesterone added in but no ganirelix throughout as they said the Progynova would quiet the ovaries? So many different protocols. I hope you get there next week 🤞🏼

@lemonyfox those emotions are totally normal! I just repeat that I am pregnant until proven otherwise....try to keep the positive mindset but those negative thoughts do creep in, to protect yourself.

@Sierra26 what a rollercoaster. So frustrating, especially as you say some clinics will transfer over 7mm. I really hope your scan on Tuesday is good news. X

we had our first scan yesterday afternoon following some pains. Everything’s in the right place which was a huge relief, it was too early too say anymore.

Hi all, hope everyone is keeping well and not going too crazy with the 2ww! I have my appointment tomorrow to go up and pick my medication up but was wondering does anyone know is it advised to not drink any alcohol at all in the lead up to the FET? Ie while on the nasal spray etc?

im hoping I can avoid as much as possible without everyone asking am I pregnant but I have birthdays, weddings and engagement parties coming up it’s so hard!
