Hi,

Is anyone else planning on a FET in June? ☺️

I had my second cycle of ICSI in April and now have 8 frozen embryos.

I didn’t have a fresh transfer in April as there was some fluid left in my endometrium from ivf medication. I thought it best to wait till June so by then my body will be fully recovered.

@Sierra26 I had lots of EWCM at that stage too.

I’m 6dpt and planned to test today. My DD woke me just before 6am, I was bursting for a wee and went without thinking so that was FMU gone. I tested 2 hours later with SMU (no drinks in between) and it was BFN. Feeling very deflated but will test again tomorrow with FMU and hope for the best.

Good luck tomorrow @Sierra26 🤞🏽and @GabbyGal its still early and missing FMU could make all the difference.

@hja62 i had my first FET on 4th June following a cancelled cycle mid cycle for appendicitis and a freeze all because of OHSS and so far we have a positive and we’re just holding on in there, absolutely delighted but no less worried 😊🥰

@Sierra26 you’re nearly there! And that’s great reassurance that you always get good lining ….I've had two cancelled due to poor lining so it’s always a worry of mine! Let us know when you get your transfer date!

@GabbyGal I'm so sorry to heard it was a BFN this morning. I did have a previous cycle where I didn’t get a BFP until 7dp5dt and I've heard of ladies getting them later again. Don’t give up hope yet but I know it’s easier said that done, that crushing feeling is hard to shake.

Congratulations to everyone that's had a positive! And good luck to everyone waiting for transfer or to test.
I had my second scan today and my cycle has been cancelled. My lining was 15.2 so a bit thick and has a cystic appearance. I had a biopsy last month which was all normal but now I have to have a hysteroscopy to investigate further so could be a long wait for that on the NHS!

@GabbyGal I'm sorry it was a negative this morning. It's still early days though and got everything crossed you see a line forming in a few days!

Ladies can I post some photos of my last two tests. I'm in hell here....

In the first photo,
Top is yesterday SMU AT 11am.
Bottom is this evening.

The boots test is lighter but the cheapie shows definite progression.

Second photo is my progression since getting BFP.

I know this isn't going to have a happy ending, I just don't know how long it's going to drag on for. I just feel like I shouldn't be getting such inconsistent tests, surely means it's not progressing ok.

Thanks @hja62 we don’t do a beta but got my first scan date through today- 2 weeks tomorrow.

@Bec18x I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope they can get moving and get some answers and appointments in for you soon. Would you consider looking at timescales of private?

@hja62 cheapie shows definite progression!!! My more expensive FRER tests have been so different and unpredictable up until yesterday when I’d have been 14dp5dt. Yesterday and today they’ve been really dark but that’s 19dpo 🫣 my internet cheapies have consistently got darker.
getting darker and showing progression isn’t what they’re made for and aren’t always reliable.
I see progression in your boots tests, the last ones a little harder to tell in the pic if you think it’s a little lighter remember it is an evening test and the others have dried out much more.

Yeah I'm honestly bordering on insanity at this point. I don't know why I keep doing it myself. I guess it wouldn't be possible for a test to show progression if there wasn't any extra HCG so I'm trying to take some comfort in that. The first photo both the boots and cheapie were dipped in same urine each time so you would think both would show progression if it was there. Aaarrrghhh....

Nothing to do but wait I guess.

@hja62 the waiting is torture and it just continues but try not to stress yourself out more analysing them…..says me 😂😂😂

Pleased to hear the tests are darker as I know you were worried!

@hja62 I know easier said than done but try not to worry! Those all look like really strong lines. Hcg rises every 2-3 days. I'm going to stop testing for a little while now (otd was yesterday) maybe one cheapie on Friday and will take another digital next week and hope it moves to 3+ 🤞🤞

@Natty2 you're absolutely my FET partner in crime!! Roll on next Thursday! Come the time I might feel differently but I think it’ll bring some relief.
I’ve pulled back on testing too, although yesterdays digital was still 1-2weeks so I would like to see that shift to 2-3 x

Unexpected news at my scan… Lining needs a few more days which is fine. But I’ve been on ganirelix to suppress ovulation as we’re doing an artificial (non-ovulatory) transfer protocol, and they found I have follicles growing. So I need to start ganirelix again and hope it stops/slows them.

If they do keep growing I might need to switch protocol to sync transfer with ovulation, with trigger to time it. So still have options as long as I don’t ovulate naturally before my next appt 😭 damn my keen ovaries

Aww that's a kicker. I'm sure it will all work out fine but it's a worry you could do without....especially after you always get good lining, typical isn't it!! When is your next scan? x

Thanks @hja62 ! Still got compliments on my lining 💁🏻‍♀️ Next scan is Monday and likely we’ll then be planning to transfer the Tues of following week. Another week of being patient 🤪

I'm ok today! Did loads more tests....what's new!! And I'm starting to relax a bit more now.

I'm getting progression on the cheapie tests and I might have even gotten my first dye stealer on the boots tests!! There was definitely some weird stuff going on with those boots tests, they had me up in a heap. Beta is on Monday 🤞🏼🤞🏼 and they've already said they'll do a repeat beta on Wednesday for me for extra reassurance given my history so I'm hoping that will calm me down altogether.

That’s great @hja62 ! Hopefully gives you enough reassurance to feel a bit more chill over the weekend, before the test on Mon.

@Sierra26 Fingers crossed you won’t ovulate naturally - seems like you’ve got plans in place though! It will only be a week extra you will have to wait so not too bad. We all have the patience of a saint!

I had my scan today and my lining is where it needs to be and everything looks good so I’ve just got to keep testing for ovulation now and phone them. Looking at my scan she thinks I will get my surge after the weekend.

How have the other lining scans gone, @amkw @lemonyfox i think it was you guys? Xxx

I think it’s 5 days after the surge. So I think it could be 29/30 June or even 1 July. I will probably be a week before you won’t I? We will still be tww buddies though!

Hey @Sierra26 thanks for checking in.

I'm on day 12 of progynova and had my first lining scan today, my clinic only seems to do one at this point. Lining is looking good though, I'm on 8.3mm and they said it needs to be 8mm (I'm stupid for now worrying that it's only 'just' over though) and my transfer is booked for Thursday 27th.

We'll be transferring one of our 5AAs first, and because we live quite far away from the hospital we were told we should get a call first thing Thursday with the update on thawing.

Picked up my cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections today too, both to start tomorrow.

Excited but also trying to really reign in the naiveness that it'll work first try. I'm honestly trying not to think about it too much tbh.

@amkw ill likely transfer 2nd July if my lining is good on Monday. If my follicles keep growing ill need to add trigger on tues to sync it all up. So we’ll probs stay aligned!

@lemonyfox that’s great! I wouldn’t worry about being ‘just’ over. They wouldn’t give you the go ahead if they weren’t happy with it. Exciting to have your transfer date, and that’s a top notch embryo! Remind me are you timing with ovulation +/- trigger?
