Welcome to anyone who wants to join me for their May FET! My transfer date is actually 30/04 but the TWW and test day will be in May so thought I’d see if I could find some buddies! The April thread is very full so thought it would be good to start fresh!

Great news @Loute02, it’s always nice to move onto the next stage! The week will fly in and before you know it you’ll be in for transfer!

I’m 4dp5dt and not feeling hopeful. I feel exactly the same as I did at this stage of my failed fresh transfer, as if my period is trying to come. But a while longer to wait until test day but trying to be realistic!

Good luck and sending lots of patience to those of you in the 2ww - I hope you're doing something fun over the long weekend to keep yourselves occupied. It is so difficult not to symptom spot, but I had the most symptoms in the only cycle that I got a BFN, so they don't always mean anything.

@Loute02 Great news re transfer date. I hope the week passes quickly for you.

My period started today, so I have a scan on 15th hopefully with a transfer a week later. Start my meds tomorrow, hopefully it will all go ok.

Please may I join? @DippyDuck19 I am pretty much same as you ! It's been my 4th round end Jan, froze all as hyperstimulated for first time .
I've only ever had 2 embryos from 3 cycles to transfer out of 30odd eggs none worked. First private cycle and we've got 3 euploid and one mosaic in freezer. Waiting for period to start first medicated FET and I am terrified.
Thought I'd be used to this by now but it's horrible and scared if it doesn't work but also if it does with risk of bleeding, loss etc.

@kerrym87 welcome. It's such a disheartening process filled with anxiety especially if things haven't gone your way before!!

I'm 4dp5dt and want to test!!! But it's probably too early. @StillTTC7 @LouP87 how are you both doing? Have either of you tested yet?

Haven’t tested yet no. I’ve surprised myself with not thinking about it too much to be honest. I think because I know it’s need to be first morning pee, but by the time I’ve remembered that the time has been and gone! 6DPT today, any symptoms I thought I had have all gone 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have been testing and all BFN, I think I am definitely out which is making me so anxious and sad. I have no symptoms either just really sore boobs but that is definitely from the medication. So hard to wait an extra 8 days to tell our clinic to know what the next steps are! Is anyone on Lubion injections? I’m really struggling to get them into my tummy and they are so sore!

@Praying4OurIVFMiracle its still very very early for testing so don’t give up hope yet!

11th is my OTD and I’m going to try and stick it out until then, in my head if I don’t test and I don’t bleed then there’s still a hope of a positive which I want to last as long as possible!

Thankfully I don’t have lubion injections, just pessaries. Heard most people have trouble with it so glad it’s not something I have to do! Have you tried numbing the area for a while before injecting?

Aw @DippyDuck19 so am I! I’m 6dp5dt and have to wait until Sunday! Just asked hubby if we could test a couple days early but it was a resounding no 🙃

I think I feel the same as last time, which failed so was all progesterone symptoms so not looking too much into it just yet. How you getting on?

@Praying4OurIVFMiracle keep holding on until test day, I know it’s hard but we’re only day 6 so might be hard to pick anything up on a test just yet 🤞🏻

How is everyone getting on in their tww? It's must be difficult not to wonder what your symptoms must be but they're all the same for period and pregnancy!
Fingers crossed for your test dates in a week!

I was meant to get my period this weekend but I think it will be delayed a week, so hope I'm not too far off starting!

Has anyone started their unmedicated cycle yet?

@Natty2 no symptoms here, really hoping that’s a good thing but convinced it has t worked this time.

interested in your unmedicated cycle as think we will try this next cycle so definitely will be following along! Waiting for your period to come so you can start is one of the most annoying waits in this whole process!

@StillTTC7 thank you I will try again in a few days and see if it changes. I think the internet is full of people getting positives really earlier so it’s given me false hope

@Natty2 I’m starting my unmedicated cycle in the next few days. I’ve got a baseline scan tomorrow, I assume this is to double check I’m all good start when AF arrives. I’ll update once I’ve had the scan.

Good luck to everyone! Hope the 2WWs go quick, it felt like the longest wait of all after my fresh transfer.

unfortunately I had my scan on Thursday and my lining was good, (which is good as I was trying natural this time) but they said they couldn’t see a dominant follicle, or the corpus Luteum meaning that I had either ovulated too early or just ovulated and they couldn’t see. Had a blood test and my progesterone was too high, indicating ovulation so round had been cancelled.

now waiting again for my period to come, and this time they are going to scan me at 8 days. So typical as I never usually ovulate early, must have been on day 9!

this makes me quite worried as I feel like it’s the start of some irregularities which could end up with me going into early menopause… I’m thinking the absolute worst, but it’s hard to be positive all the time.

now just waiting for AF, all I do is wait!!!!

@Eljane34 I'm sorry it's been cancelled again. That's my worry for the natural cycle!
How long has it been since your fresh transfer, could it just be your body readjusting?
I'm on cd31 currently (after my last withdrawal bleed) not expecting af for another week based on my tracking! This happened after my EC in Jan, as normally I'm a standard 28 day cycle!

@Eljane34 I never ovulate before cd 19, has been later since january egg collection. How frustrating for you! I've just started a medicated and as it's my first FET I'm going to give it a go, my body is so weird.
@Natty2 my cycles are always well off after ivf but because I've had a few over 18 months it seems my body has only been predictable for a low proportion of that time, its always longer with me, last 2 cycles have been 6 weeks instead of 5

My scan went really well today, everything looks good! Now to wait for my period to start - about the only time I look forward to it,haha. Hope everyone is okay🥰

Scan tomorrow, not looking forward to it, but I know I have to go. Fingers crossed the fluid is gone. Today lower backache seems more and like a dull crampy sensation, this is worrying me now.

I'm on day 4 of the progynova now and luckily no side effects so far. Lining scan is a week today and then transfer a week later if all goes to plan. I'm so impatient, just want the weeks to speed on by...

Hey just jumping on here as I’ve been silently watching the posts. I’m 9dp5dt today. Don’t want to test as I don’t want to upset myself OTD Sunday… not really having any symptoms, some twinging to left side every now and again, slightly sore boobs but that’s probably the progesterone ..No implantation bleeding that I’ve seen. This is my 3rd FET. 1st failed 2nd ended in MC and this is my 3rd attempt and last embryo! I’ve taken the 2 weeks off work but I’m not sure that’s been the best idea in the world lol

Got the call to arrange the transfer tomorrow afternoon. I did not expect a call from the clinic so got me all emotional as thought something was wrong. I'll put this on the side effects of progynova and progesterone 😅
Taking Friday off as well to relax and go for a walk.
How many days after transfer it is advised to test?

@Loute02 I was given 13 days to wait before testing. Not sure how they work it out as I’m sure I’ve been told different times after each FET I’ve had. Good luck for tomorrow!

@Natty2 thank you very much, good news from the scan, the fluid has gone and the lining is 8.2mm. Continuing with the medication and start the Cyclogest next week and go to Cyprus next week for the transfer. Xx

@Rainbowsunshine81 going to Cyprus sounds like it adds a bit of fun to the occasion. Do you make a holiday out of it or fly in / fly out?

@Loute02 ive been given a date 12 days past my transfer. Last time I waited til 10 days past transfer. I figure the closer I get to that test date the better so that I’m not stressing about an uncertain result. good luck with transfer tomorrow.

my transfer is booked for Monday and I started progesterone today. All starting to feel quite real!
