IVF/ICSI May or late April

Is anyone else gearing up to do IVF/ICSI in May?

My meds have arrived and I start my down regs next week to start a long protocol ICSI cycle, my egg collection will then be mid-May.

Had my first ICSI cycle in Feb which resulted in only 1 embryo which was transferred on day 5, but BFN. I found the support group on here super helpful with my last cycle, so wondering if anyone else is in a similar position?

@CreamLampshade at 11 days post transfer a positive result would show up at any time of day. The first pee thing is only really for when you’re testing super early.

Hey @PurpleRayne89 im 35 and my AMH was 0.9 so really low 😔

And thanks I’m just keeping everything crossed I’m having pain in my ovaries so I’m hopeful it means there is follicles growing. We will soon now in the morning. The appointment is at 10:15 so I’ll let you know.

Fingers crossed for you @CreamLampshade do it when you’ve got some support around ! This is the bit I’m a bit scared of as I’ve banned tests the past year .

am awake worrying .. the money , everything , endo is painful and of course I’m not bleeding yet after bleeding non stop on provera . Agg just want to get going finally after 7 attempts . Hopefully I start bleeding

Guys I may have done something a bit silly…so I came downstairs last night and the smell of the beef we had for dinner made me really want to be sick. They had tasted fine but the lingering smell honestly smelt like rotting meat 🙈 so my wife got me some pregancy tests. I did one last night which was unsurprisingly negative as I’m not supposed to test until next Friday!! However, I don’t know what came over me this morning but I did another and to me there’s a definite second line! We’re not going to test again until the 24th now because I don’t think my nerves can deal with it 😂

I’ve been awake since 5am, and couldn’t fall asleep last night either so I’m on about 4 hours sleep! Just waiting to leave for the clinic. Can’t wait for this to be over!!

@Rebekah77 argh, waiting for your period is the worst isn’t it. Mine was 4 days late this cycle, which felt like 4 years.

@AnnieStar12 He’s awake! We bought some digital tests so I made him read it. We’re both over the moon! He’s very very shocked but I said I’d known for a little while. It feels very real now!! 🥰😍 Feels like I’ve just found out to be honest, I felt so nervous still!

omg think my poor body is confused ! Literally started my period the day before provera now .. nothing lol we got 48 hours for it to show . Gonna go on a long walk hope it does the trick .. obviously wearing light jeans and a thong to scare it !! Come on lol 😂

feel terrible so glad I’m off today can get back into bed after a long walk maybe go gym later

Thanks everyone for the good luck think I need it! Feeling really uncomfortable this morning, I have it in my head they will tell me today no transfer on Wednesday and need to wait till next month but I am okay with that feel the hardest part is done.

I survived the fyremadel this morning - it stung a bit after and I had a good cry after it.
The emotions are really getting me now. Getting ready to go for my first stims scan now, and really hoping it goes well!

@EvaA17 glad you managed the injection ok! Those ones are definitely harder but now you've done it the next ones will get easier and easier! Hope your scan goes ok today 🤍

@Gnatalie16 oh bless you! At least you have the expectation they might say to wait for transfer - I was super uncomfortable and had over 20 follicles and they said we might have to delay as well but it was ok in the end! But honestly now I've gone through it, I kind of wish I had given myself a month to recover and go back in for a FET - so even though it's HIGHLY upsetting and frustrating to wait! It could end up being positive! However, either way I am sending you so many positive vibes and I hope there are lots of strong eggs waiting to be collected 😍🤞🏼🥚

@Rebekah77 😂😂 the light jeans and thong has to make something happen hahaha! I heard having extra vitamin C can help bring on your period! However I find when we are waiting for it it just takes longer 😤 hope it shows up soon!! X

I still have very light bleeding (day 5 of stims) I am really worried that this cycle will be abandoned and I will have to start again with a different cycle ? She did sort of say on phone depending how heavy etc and depending if stims work there are ‘other things we can do’ I dunno what she meant she just said will see on Monday when we scan .. ahhh Monday is so long away to wait ! I really hope this cycle isn’t over before it’s even really begun .. I can’t find anyone else when searching online that has had bleeding when on stims to see what their outcome was .. I wonder can they give me something to stop /hinder the bleeding as my lining should be plumping up now ? But if it’s coming away am not sure what that will mean ? anyone any ideas ? Sorry for the rant I just dunno what it means ?! 🥴

Morning all! I have been following this forum for a while to see how you all get on and it's so lovely to see the progress.

I know you all are well into your journey but I wanted to just introduce myself. I will be starting the injections from next Friday, currently on Provera.

I went and picked my meds up yesterday and it feels sooo real! And now this morning I keep getting really teary!
