I'm 38, currently in a 3 cycle Natural Modfied ICSI package and nearing transfer stage.

@jolly86 my transfer is tomorrow. I had acupuncture in advance and she said come back a week after transfer to help with implantation (so next Thurs) but I might book in for Tuesday instead.

@VenusStarr sounds similar to what I’m doing. But I will be doing a double transfer. I was told I’d marginally increased chances. (By 2 consultants and the oracle that is Google haha).

Yesterday my day 3, 7 cell grade 2 was defrosted and it survived the thaw but needs to progress tomorrow. That was from my second cycle and was all I had from that cycle (from cycle 1 I had no eggs).

From my third cycle I fresh transferred a 8 cell grade 1 which didn’t stick and froze a day 5 5CC embryo. That embryo will be thawed tomorrow and (if it survives the thaw) will be transferred with the day 3 (if that develops). So double embryo transfer 🤞🏽

@VenusStarr it sounds good to transfer the fresh single, as the other one is already frozen. I wanted to do double transfer bc I didn’t want to freeze a day 3 embryo that was not good quality , which probably wouldn’t make it to say 5. This would mean I d pay for freeze it and then for a frozen transfer , so around 3-4 k 😂

Well exactly @jolly86 I don't have any faith the 7 cell will make it if my 8 cell didn't. I can't face more uncertainty so not sure I want any frozen ones, unless they're good blastocysts.

The Dr told me I read too much and think too much 😂 and he believes we can get some embryos, so let's see.

@VenusStarr think you mentioned you had immunity issues, what were they and have they advised on how to support with that?

Thanks @Sunflower360 the day 3 became an early blast so all good. Double transfer done. Went smoothly. Now off to get a burger with hubby.

@Doxy21 that is good news! Did they grade the embryo? Hope you enjoy your burger!

@Sunflower360 no as it was still an early blast they couldn’t grade, but I’m happy.

Did you do medicated FET?

@Jennaqua yes I did - but it seems a lot less medicated than the fet I did at my previous clinic. It has only been tablets til now and only 1 added injection per day now. I was on like 3 injections a day at my last place I think.
