Hi 👋

A thread for anyone who wants to discuss their Create Fertility experiences.

I'm 38, currently in a 3 cycle Natural Modfied ICSI package and nearing transfer stage.

Hi @VenusStarr im feeling ok I think. This is my third transfer so im kinda over it!

@Doxy21 one was 11 cell grade 2, the other 7 cell grade 3. I think grade 2 is good but grade 3 is quite lower. I think the grade 2 one has around 40-50 percent of becoming blasto, while the grade 3 one has like 25 percent.. So not so great but I think 2 is definitely better than 1.

@VenusStarr thank you. I will do a urine test if I get there.
Weirdly I feel much better after the transfer, I guess the feeling that it is over and I can't change anything. I have low expectations and if this fails will be planning another round.

Thanks @jolly86 did they tell you that on the day? Our frozen one is 7 cells grade 2 and was told ‘high chance of implantation’ - so must be a high chance for yours too

@Doxy21 yes this morning the embryologist told me that. Is this your last cycle of the 3 cycle package then?

@jolly86 yes - first cycle no egg, 2nd cycle 2 eggs and 1 fertilised and was frozen at day 3, 3rd cycle 4 eggs, 3 mature, 2 fertilised. Fresh transfer tomorrow

Hi everyone! Wow I’ve missed so much!

@Sunflower360 hope the consultation went well and you’re feeling more prepared, which can only be a good thing at this stage.
thank you for sharing your thoughts on ICSI and like @VenusStarr i am also leaning towards it but scared to have more risk of birth defects which plays on my mind a lot. so glad @VenusStarr your meds are on their way to you, odd there anything else left to do except wait for AF?

congratulations on your transfer @jolly86 and a double one too! I definitely understand the feeling it relief when you reach transfer so enjoy and rest now because you are PUPO!

also good luck for your transfer tomorrow @Doxy21 I’ll be thinking of you! Did you do ICSI on any of these create rounds can I ask?

@Hopesandsunshine yep 2 rounds Icsi (no eggs in first round) and my 2 rounds at my previous clinic were icsi

@Maddie23 thank you. Indeed, my first transfer in 2021 was really difficult, it took like 40 minutes and change of doctor, they just couldn't find the right place. I think it was linked to my uterus being retroverted. However this time it took 5 minutes!! I said how come as this is what happened before. Doctor said you had delivery and things must have changed.

Thanks @Sunflower360 trying to fill my bladder for 10am (I’m not good at that - I pee a lot so my bladder never gets full without me being in agony). I also hate the speculum with a passion. I WILL scream and cry

@Doxy21 I'm the same, not good with a full bladder! Are you having 2 transferred or 1?

Update from me...

All 7 are still in the running, but 2 are weaker than the other 5.

So overall we have 3 x Grade 1's (9,10,11 cells, one of which is compacting), 2 x Grade 2's (6 and 8 cells) and 2 x Grade 3 (5 and 8 cell but with quite a bit of Fragmentation).

Be curious to see what, if any, make blastocyst (I've learnt to be cautious with this whole IVF journey, so take nothing for granted, good news can very quickly go the other direction!)

We transferred 1 as it was grade 1 8 cells. The other is grade 1 7 cells so going to see how it does to day 5/6 and freeze if ok (got a grade 2 7 cells day 3 frozen). I have had 2 transfers elsewhere before and this is the first time I haven’t had to wait and drink some more. The speculum wasn’t too bad - but it did pop out and have to be redone! Fingers crossed now! I would be glad to never have to do this again but also glad that we have 1 (hopefully 2) frozen
