@Custard7891 @IVFDublin great results from you two…you give me hope that I might have a better outcome when I egg retrieve/create embryos next time.
@GabbyGal good luck tomorrow, you’ve got this…egg retrieval wasn’t so terrible for me as I retrieved only 4 so you might feel a bit more than I did, just remember to keep hydrating, have a seed/heating bag if you feel crampy and paracetamol.
Ladies with lining issues, I am so happy to hear my mental screaming at your uterus has worked a bit 😂
Ladies still stimming, feeling a bit uncomfortable after 5+ days of meds is completely normal…please, communicate with your clinic if there are any major concerns/side effects that are unexpected…otherwise, just try to take it easy, eat as healthy as possible, drink at least 2,5-3L of water a day.
Ladies with bum bullets, pessaries, etc…I hope you can see the light at the end of the tunnel 🫠 I mean, I hope transfer date is not long now and that you will get a BFP soon and that you can set a calendar for when these sort of meds will no longer be needed 😬🤗 I will certainly dread them when it’s my turn.
I am all back to my normal activities after my retrieval on Monday. I am still being careful (though one of my students excitedly tapped his feet near my ovaries during relaxation lesson today)…mindful as the clinic said 2 weeks to avoid high impact as there is risk of twisting. But honestly, almost no pain since procedure…didn’t even had to take paracetamol. No bleeding, no nothing…wonderful recovery, I suppose, that can be viewed as the benefit of only 5eggies (4frozen) taken out. Next for me is a review consultation on the 10th of November to decide next protocol, cycle to commence.
I admire all of you ladies that have done back to back/continuous treatment for so long. I like to think that I have a strong mindset/positive mentality but I am aware that I personally wouldn’t cope well with going month on ends doing these treatments. Hats off to all of you that do it and still work, have houses/partners to look after, etc
