We filled up the first thread fast!!

@GCS34 omg the amount of people that kept telling me just relax and stop worrying you will be fine ! Arrggghhh I wanted to shout back... I DONT OVULATE ! PCOS comes in so many shapes and sizes ! Sooo frustrating!

@Pinklady81 thank you, yes was up early and kept putting trying to go back to sleep but tested at 7 and stark white test on FRER and CB has a clear negative line.

Been googling when should BFP show after implantation (spotting started Friday afternoon and has been barely there and turned to brown since) but realistic in that it probably isn't guna change.

Will call clinic soon but imagine they will say test again in 2 days or come in for bloods.

@GCS34 my consultiation is on the 6th, I'm hoping that I can fo a natural transfer so I can start on my next cycle around the 8th 🤞 tbf I have all the meds already if I need to do a medicated transfer, so I'll keep you posted and I would imagine our timings will be close

Hi all! I have my scan in an hour to see if lining is thick enough for transfer this week. I am so nervous and not sure why. Wish me luck it’s our last chance embryo xxx

@ttcsolomumtobe believe it or not the situation we found ourselves in yesterday was one we discussed prior..."what would we do if the option to transfer two or disguard was there?" It was an odd thing to discuss as it doesnt happen very often for people (from what ive read, correct me if im wrong) so It seemed like a wee sign because we had spoken about it prior and we decided to go for it. Twins isnt something we had planed for but will be a happy surprise if that's the way it goes. What will be will be. There absolutely no guarantees of anything in this Infertility journey.

@LavenderJoy thank you, yeah I was filled with such anticipation and so sure it would be a positive, just shows hormones can convince us of anything.

My clinic have said that if it was positive it would have shown today, no offer of blood tests. In my injections meeting they said test 16 days after, currently on 14 so think as I've only got 2 days worth of progesterone left and I'm off work anyway I will take them and retest on Wednesday. I know it's very unlikely and just being hopeful that the spotting was implantation but yea, 2 more days if I keep busy isn't too bad for peace of mind.

@Lowo21 @Doughnut89 Clearly the 34 club is where it is at! I think in previous generations, babies were done and dusted before you were 30, and I think that mindset has stuck with us in modern times, so after 30 we assume it's too late. Arguably it's harder, but also, from a lifestyle and finance POV, it's easier when you're older sometimes. It's mad when you start opening up about fertility issues, every other person has had some form of battle! And yeah 'just relax' is a fertile persons go-to response! 😂that and "I'm sure you'll be fine". HOW DO YOU KNOW I WILL!!?? 😅Ooooof Monday morning rant over! 👀

@LavenderJoy oh wow that's not long at all! I think everyone would opt for a natural, unfortunately my uterus is a knob head, so that's off the cards for me 😂Would that mean TF end of Sept based on that?

@ttcsolomumtobe I'm so so sorry for you! I honestly was convinced for you. I really am sending so much love and support. It might not have been in your head - you may have implanted, but then it didn't stick long enough. I hope you get some more support from the clinic. And maybe your friend or dad might be able to comfort 💛

@Feeburni Hey! That's super exciting for transfer for 2! I am very much on the 2 side of the fence. Twice as many chances, and also, twins isn't a bad thing! Not to scare you, but my friend had a MC of 1 embryo, then her second round they put 2 in because of her previous MC, and she's due in a few weeks with one boy and one girl! What's meant to be will be hey! Good luck.

@ttcsolomumtobe I’m really sorry. I know how hard seeing those negative tests can be. That’s good you have the week off to focus on your mental health. I won’t speak for you but I know how mentally draining it’s been for me getting negatives and needing to give myself space from everything else, work etc.
You’ve not come on your period yet and as you say, Friday could have been implantation bleeding. I’ll pray for a positive test for you on Wednesday xx

@GCS34 and @Lowo21 I completely know what you mean about fertile people saying “just relax and it will happen” it doesn’t work like that for everyone, some people need to plan because of infertility issues. When I told my older sister (who has 3 children, 2 unplanned) that I was going through my first IUI, she was like oh you’ll get pregnant straight away, you’ll be fine, everyone in our family’s so fertile 🙄 it’s so frustrating and makes you feel even worse when it doesn’t happen for you

I'm sorry people have had a lack of positive news ☹️ this journey is shockingly unfair.

I'm 33 and 34 in March so not too far being part of the popular age group club!

Will somebody just confirm that I'm not going to feel this bad forever please? Egg collection was Friday. Saturday felt much better (it would have been hard to feel much worse tbf) but I've not moved forward since Saturday. I think symptoms of maybe mild OHSS. I just can't stop needing to nap or lie down? Brushing my teeth knocked all of my energy out of me and I needed a sit down 😴 I've had to cancel work because I just won't make it through the day. I thought I'd feel better today?

@GCS34 thank you, yes I've spoken with my friend, will speak with my Dad tomorrow as know he will want to hug me and it will make me cry and will speak with clinic counsellor if needed after testing again Wednesday.

@Doughnut89 thank you re Wednesday 💕 And yea just having the week off and no solid plans allows me to just do as I want each day.

Currently making a list of things I can do if Wednesdays test is still negative.... Hair dying and trip to the the spa is defo on the list 😂

@ttcsolomumtobe we're obviously not at that stage yet but on the basis it'll be a couple of months before we transfer, it means we can book a holiday in April, so we're going to spend some time planning that! It's good to have other things to look forward to.

@Doughnut89 It's so frustrating isn't it? And for your sister to say that as well, it's like.... ermmm ever heard of male factor? 😂Honestly, I hate people being so passive about it, and flippant about 'relax and it'll happen'. Emmm okay I'll stab you 3 times a day, at EXACTLY the same time each day, make you big bloated and constipated, then have a giant dildo put up you ever 2 days when you have 2 bunches of grapes up there, and tell you to relax yeah? Oh god i'm so ranty today! 😅🙈

@ttcsolomumtobe I'm glad you've spoken to them - it's nice you have some people to comfort you and support. Bless your pops. What a hero he is. And definitely take up the counselling if you feel it would help. I have had CBT in the past, and honestly found it did SO much for my outward positive trajectory on things. And of course, talk to any of us too for support. We're all on this shit train together!

@IVFKinster yea, I have a 4 night break away booked early September which I thought would be great thing no matter what the outcome of the testing so it's nice I have that to look forward to.

@IVFKinster ahhhh a fellow member of the worlds worst club! Sorry you're feeling so low 😓Take it easy and maybe phone in sick as you are poorly, even if it's self induced! I had mild once, and after a few days it picked up. Try and get some electrolytes on board, and I bought a big bag of salted popcorn which I picked at which helped keeping salts up and bloat down.

Thank you for everyone sending the luck. Had my scan, lining needed to be 7mm and it was 11.36mm so that’s good! Will get a call later today or tomorrow for when transfer will be xx

@ttcsolomumtobe so sorry to hear. It’s the bloody progesterone- I had the same thing in my first round. It gives you all the symptoms. Take good care of yourself xx

@Ellenn omg lubion just gets worse. I have lumps and red marks all over me. This embryo best be a sticky thing!!!
