We filled up the first thread fast!!

@Ellenn my scan was really reassuring, thanks for asking. They could see the gestational sack and it’s implanted in the right place (which was a worry with the bleeding). They said I looked closer to 5.5/6 weeks rather than the 5weeks which I was exactly on Saturday. And my hcg levels are doubling every 1.5 days so all in all it’s looking positive.
The bleeding has actually now stopped on its own, they don’t know what it was exactly but all signs are looking good for now.
That’s exciting that you have you 7 week scan tomorrow, it’s hard not to feel nervous when you’ve lost one before but I’m hoping all goes well for you tomorrow too!

@GCS34 was it maybe me you were thinking of with the BFP?

@KG1244 I haven't told my work about IVF, so told them I was spending time with family this week so needed the week off. Makes it a bit difficult to change things now. I would have to take Monday off sick, but after a week off, I've got so much in the diary... But not a lot I can do about it, if that's when they say egg collection will be!

@GCS34 I'm PUPO and in my second week of my 2WW. My OTD is 2nd Sept 😊

@kirstysmbc ive not told my work either and understand the struggles with last minute holiday! I had the Monday for EC booked off, then it ended up being Wednesday so I just said that my parents have asked for some help with some bits and are only around on Wednesday. Maybe try something similar? Or, medical apt that means out all day? X

@Custard7891 i knew it 😂 I blame Greece making me lose my mind. Are you waiting till Saturday? So excited for everyone. It’s mad how it never feels like it’ll be you testing

Yeah I'm waiting til Saturday morning to test then off on a cruise in Greece, Croatia and Montenegro that afternoon😂Great distraction haha!

Thank you all for your well wishes! Both embryos thawed perfectly and the embryologist, nurse and consultant were all happy with how the transfer went! We even got a photo so I couldn't have asked for it go any better!

We even got McDonalds fries afterwards!

Strangely ever since the transfer I've been feeling slightly off and have now developed the weirdest headache! Way too early for anything to even happen but thinking maybe psychologically my body is giving off symptoms!

How is everyone else doing?

Hi again everyone, so hard to keep track of were you are all at but fingers crossed to those in 2ww.
Im in an unusual situation where my lining gets way too thick (likely why wasnt getting pregnant naturally) and Ive had to have a d+c before my fet cycle in the hope my lining behaves. I'm mid withdrawal bleed (really heavy!) and have first scan on Friday to check lining. 3 embies on ice - 5ab, 5bb and 4cc. I'm so bloody nervous it won't work and the mental state I'll be in afterwards. Ivf is shit and we shouldn't have to go through this. Thinking of you all xx

Hope everyone's doing ok.

The wait for my blood test is really getting to me. I'm having to resist the urge to do a home test, but I think I'm almost scared to do one having seen so many BFN's. I was feeling very down today and negative but my wonderful partner gave me a pep talk and I feel better now. Has anyone else been feeling panicked or low? What have you be doing to keep yourself positive?

Had some cramps since the transfer and felt generally tired, emotional and ran down, but that's it really for symptoms. How's everyone else doing that's in their two weeks wait? Is anyone planning to test ahead of their blood test?

@GCS34 totally feel the same like we are never going to be at the stage where we can test! Hope the holiday is going well? Did you get affected by the flights at all?

This feels like a really good week for so many people.....

@Mez456 it's such a rollercoaster of emotions and never feels like we will get anywhere remotely positive ! I can only say that focusing on today and what you do have, we have no idea what tomorrow has in store. It really sucks but I find a little comfort in knowing that we aren't alone and that there are success stories out there.

@CRJ sorry you are feeling so anxious. I think re the testing thing personally it could make you more stressed but so many different views and why calms you down is what is best. I think the holiday business is booming off of IVF ladies booking holidays for some R n R !!

@Lowo21 you're right, seems like a really positive time for everyone, lots going on. This chat is such good proof that noone is alone in this and that there's lots of women going through the same thing who understand how it is!

@CRJ from what Ive read, cramping is the best and only sign of good implantation. At least this early on. Im hoping for cramps! Fingers crossed x

That's what I've read too, but then I hear its also a side effect of the delightful pessaries and also could be from the egg collection procedure. Fingers crossed its a positive sign of implantation though!
How are you feeling? Your embryos sound really good!

@Custard7891 i love this approach! Didn’t realise our OTD were so close. I’m testing two days after.

@TTCMama17 so pleased to hear all went well. I think the build up of the ET is a lot to deal with.

@CRJ I completely feel the same. It’s so horrible. I’m like desperate to test but also can’t bare the thought of seeing another negative. I’ve never had a positive test before ☹️I’ve found keeping myself busy and getting out the house the best thing. I’m doing a urine test on OTD and then I think with either outcome, the clinic will call me in for a blood test to confirm the result. When are you due to test?

Monday, which I think is the same as you right? I'm going to try really hard to wait for the blood test. Have you had any symptoms? Is this your first round?
I feel so much better this evening, but today I was a mess!

@GCS34 yea the blood tests and scans definitely reassured me. But then I also keep worrying that somethings going to happen but I guess that’s natural.

@Ellen I’ve got my next scan booked in for the 11th when I will be seven weeks but they said they should be able to see more by that date. How are you doing symptoms wise? I had my first bout of morning sickness yesterday but then have felt completely fine today.

@CRJ when is your test day again? I did a clear blue test early because I had spotting and wanted to know because of a previous chemical but other months when I’ve had negatives it’s been heartbreaking. It’s so hard to know whether to test early. I guess listen to your instinct

@CRJ yep same as me. Maybe a bit of minor cramping. This is my second round - thought I had quite a few symptoms after my first round of FET so I’m trying my best not to read into it it this time but easier said that done! Pleased to hear you’re feeling better ❤️

@KG1244 symptom spotting is the worst isn't it! I've definitely had cramps, some stronger ones and light flutters. As I said earlier, could all be down to the pessaries though.

@Doughnut89 congratulations! Amazing! How did you find the TWW? At what point did you decide to test?

@GCS34 - yes my first one! Eeek don’t know what to expect. Just trying to keep it calm….

@CRJ it’s such a head fuck! It’s like it could be the pessaries, it could be your period coming on but it also could be implantation ❤️
