The only exercise I do is walk to work (25 minutes, downhill). But haven't done it last week, as it was a heatwave (35+ heat) and I'd be walking in at peak heat time (3.30pm).

I don't plan on doing any more than this throughout the pregnancy, cause its just not me!!

Not being hit by nausea today!! Though still pretty stuffed from lunch (and burping like mad)
Also having family dinner, so at least it will be a day of proper eating!

@Justalittlebitblondie how was your scan?

@IVFfirsttimer91 I'll let you know re weights 🙂 I'm going to see if I can find someone that's trained with antenatal stuff so hoping they can write me a programme.

I've just had a meltdown, my mums dog just jumped on my lower stomach and it still hurts a bit, now paranoid it would of ruined everything 😭 hopefully I'm just being over dramatic but I can't help but worry now argh

@wtawtaw oh bless you, try not to panic. The little bean is hidden away safe and sound so would take something extreme to damage it :)

Is anyone else feeling NOT pregnant, apart from the slight sore boobs on and off I feel completely fine, I have no aches or pulling sensations in my stomach which I would have expected to have had by now with things expanding and I also don’t feel I’m using the toilet anymore than normal.

I never believed it when people said they got to 3 months without knowing they were pregnant but I can honestly see how some people feel that way. As usual this is something else making me panic.

If it's any consolation I was on bed rest due to threatened miscarriage in my first pregnancy and fell down a full flight of stairs, breaking my coccyx and bashing my stomach at 11 weeks.

I was very much reassured at the time that they're incredibly well cushioned and not to worry. And as we know it all ended up fine!

Well - went for scan it was all good news - saw the little bean and heart beating and was bang on where it should be in terms of development- am so relieved

@SH998 nah, I don't feel pregnant at all either. If it wasn't for this lack of appetite, sometimes nausea, I'd be having a lovely time! A lot of friends said they didn't feel pregnant until like week 16,when you start feeling the baby!

I was always really regular (and on the pill), so I couldn't understand how people didn't notice they hadn't had a period yet!!
Unless it was postpartum, like my mom... Who, as it turned out, was already 12 weeks pregnant by the time she investigated it. My brother and I are 10 months apart (he was a few weeks early though)

@wtawtaw like everyone has said, they are well protected inside! Tiny bump, at this stage, is not gonna hurt the bean!

@Walker12 I have my booking appt tomorrow so we are in the same boat. But I know my 12 week scan will be at my local hospital.

I don't know who asked about exercising, bit for now I'm only doing daily walks. But planning to go back to the gym and Zumba classes after my 12 week scan.

@ASGIRC I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling absolutely normal, I had nausea over the weekend which almost resulted in me throwing back up my Swedish meatballs in the middle of Ikea canteen but thankfully that's now gone. Apart from that I literally could be out boozing all weekend if I didn't know I was pregnant lol. You hear so many stories of how awful people feel in the first trimester so I expected the worst. I actually feel better than I normally do lol. It does worry me as I stupidly relate symptoms to a healthy pregnancy but past experience throws that theory out the window.

Ill be glad to get this 12 week scan out the way, I think then ill start believing its actually happening and start to enjoy it all. I'm undecided on whether ill have another private scan before then, will depend on when my scan date is I suppose.

I'm not too bad thank you @SH998, I think I'm just extra delicate the couple of days leading up to a scan (tomorrow) and nerves takes over so everything turns me extra emotional. If all goes well tomorrow, I'm hoping I'll be a lot more relaxed. 🤞🏻

I have heard lots of people with healthy pregnancies feel normal throughout their first trimester, I think it's actually super common. I can't say I've felt the same 😅 I've had nausea all day every day from 6 weeks and the tiredness this week has ramped up! Napped most days and not wanted to do anything which is really unlike me.

@SH998 I dont think I could be out boozing, as I have such awful aversions that beer is out at the moment!
But the other day all I could think about was how much I miss beer and wine. And getting absolutely plastered. Not the "Ill have a small glass on wine at Christmas" thing. More like, I want 2 bottles, please!
I dont feel awful in general, per se, but Im a VERY bad patient, in general, so even the slight nausea I get is bringing me DOWN!

I have my scan tomorrow and Im terrified, once again. And while 2 weeks ago I was fine with either outcome (within reason), I dont think I would take bad news quite so well this time.
I know, realistically, the chances of bad news are small. But I cant help but worry. Wish the damn scan was today!!!!

I have my booking appointment with the midwife today. Just loads of questions related with past medical history of ourselves and family. I was also informed I'm having a joint midwife and consultant led pregnancy which means more appointments and more scans 😁 which I'm not complaining at all.

@Sangels267 thank you!! Feeling a bit anxious about it, but want it to happen ASAP!

I am having the worst negative thoughts today. Yesterday I only had mild nausea, today it seems completely gone. I have backache and, when I was walking with the dog, I felt a strange pressure down there, like my vagina wanted to come out (sorry tmi) 🥴

Now I am convinced it's all gone 😭

My scan isnt until 4h30, so still have a long day at work ahead of me.

I was feeling more anxious about it yesterday, than today, but theres still the nagging feeling that it might all be gone...

@Charming81 theres a lot of changes happening, so it is probably more than normal to feel weird things.
And I keep being reminded that having strong symptoms doesnt mean anything, so dont stress about it! (easier said than done, but heh!)

@ASGIRC I know, but I just have a really, really bad feeling today 😔 I hope I am not right

@Charming81 while obviously i cant guarantee it, it is very unlikely that you are right. You had a scan not even a week ago! Whens your next appointment?

@Charming81 sorry to hear your stressing, been there done it and I'm having a fairly positive day today. Who knows how ill feel tomorrow.

I'm sure there's nothing to worry about but can you contact your EPU or have you had your midwife appointment, if so, contact her and see what she advises.

@ASGIRC today is going to be a long working day for you, only 6 hours until you see your little bean, good luck :)

@Charming81 I am with you on the anxiety train today!! Just a sense of dread and obsessing about my symptoms having reduced after feeling so mauseous a few days ago. Had a horrible dream too.
In terms of the pressure feeling I've had that a lot, since before my 7w scan where all was fine so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

@SH998 Itll be busy enough to go by quickly!

Ive been having some discomfort for a coule of days now... Just this little... pain on the underside of m belly, on both side. basically where the round ligament is supposed to be. I dont think it is a "bad" pain, as in it means something is wrong (it is bellow and to the sides of the uterus), but it definitely is annoying!
