@wtawtaw im 6 weeks pregnant and waiting for my early scan on the 7th :). Background for me is this is round 2 for us, first one resulted in blighted ovum, so I think the closer we get to the 7th the more anxiety will be had here.

@Walker12 I just checked the mg on my pessaries and I'm getting 800 mg a day plus 100mg intra-muscular every other day. Like I said, very painful, for such a small amount feels like someones got it in for me! It's a great couples bonding experience though...

So PLEASE don't hate me but I thought about the update thing for us all, but in a more uniform way. So you could post your name with details like: background/history, transfer date, current status?

So for me, I would do:

@loulamay , unexplained infertility, 4 miscarriages but successful pregnancy from IVF in 2021, transfer date with last frostie tbc but likely 03/07/21, current status: hanging in there...

We could all copy and paste the others or I could collate them into one big post.

@IVFfirsttimer91 diagnosis? round 2 IVF with first resulting in blighted ovum, transfer date?, currently 6 weeks pregnant and waiting for early scan on the 7th :)

Me: TTC for 3.5 years, found I had stage 3 endo 2 years in, had surgery to remove. No other factor. IVF #1 2 embryos transfer, both failed, no Frosties. IVF 2: 1 transferred and 6 in the freezer. Currently 4+6 - I'm still hoping I'm pregnant!! Viability scan on 10/08 🤞🏻

@wtawtaw Hi! I’ve been rubbish at keeping up too just trying not to go mad here 🙃

I’m on same timeline as @ASGIRC so currently 6dp5dt. Ovitrelle was my trigger for egg collection but also instructed to take ‘8 clicks’ of it the day of transfer to support implantation which was only 6 days ago so I’ve not even bothered testing this week! Test day is Saturday so just waiting it out but that doesn’t mean I’m staying cool haha. I’ve been going to the bathroom checking for implantation bleeding everytime - absolutely nothing and have very period like symptoms that are usual for me the week leading up to period coming. No idea what to think! The only thing I’ve really noticed was 4dpt and 5dpt a couple of days of what I can only describe as almost lightening bolt pains on my left hand side ovary to the point they were so quick and sharp I jumped every time! Some days I’m hopefully other days convinced it’s not worked and period is on way. Just got to keep going until Saturday 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@21C Saturday is not too far away!! 😁 I had period type cramps on and off throughout my 2ww and also the sharp pains - for me though I think the sharp pains are caused by the prog pessaries!

So background:

I'm a solo mother by choice. I had ICSI in 2020 which was a freeze all. First FET resulted in my DD in Sept 21. Second FET was 20th July and I've had my positive today on day 5.

Your organising genuinely makes me happy. I wish they had the WhatsApp option of having a description of chat. So we could all edit and keep our bits updated 😂 and still find it easily when we are 195 messages down!

@wtawtaw - thank-you!! I'm excited to sleep tonight because I'm very excited to test again tomorrow..!

Hi all, just seen about the new thread. I was in the last one but haven't posted in a few days. Had a transfer on Saturday and 6 embryos frozen. I haven't been posting since as I've been a little anxious about the wait..

In terms of background for me:
This is my first round after an ectopic, three very early miscarriages and a mmc at 12 weeks.

@loulamay i love it. When I’m stressed or overwhelmed (literally about anything) writing things down neatly or making a list calms me down so much. Might need to get my highlighters and coloured pens out to keep track of this thread

I had a coil go throw the back of my uterus when I was 17. Multiple pelvic abcesses throughout my 20s. 3 operations to sort it all out.

10 years later, I'm fine on the outside... but on the inside area I'm a bag of adhesions. One ovary is stuck to the back of my uterus - the other is doing its own thing. Pretty sure my tubes are fried. Low amh. 3 months of accupuncture on scar tissue and... I'm the luckiest person in the world to have made it to embryo transfer!! 11 eggs collected, 10 fertilised, 4 blasts. ET last Sunday. Hoping there's a little more luck left in the bag to get us across the finish line. XX

@loulamay TTC for 7 years, unexplained infertility, 2 collections, currently on the 4th transfer. Miscarried after first transfer, next 2 transfers failed. This FET date was 13/7/23 and currently 12dp5dt and got BFP on 5dp5dt. 3 embryos still in the freezer. OTD is 27/07/23.

@Fluxie Coil injury causing multiple pelvic abscesses in 20s and 30s. One ovary stuck to back of uterus, other is doing its own thing. Low amh. 11 eggs collected, 10 fertilised, 4 blasts. ET last Sunday.

Lol thanks guys! I feel like a horse with no legs thats entered the grand national. It's bloody tough on everyone - in some ways, I think it's been a bit easier for me because I have always known I'd need to do this. (and had low expectations!)
