Create Fertility - Experiences

Hi 👋

I was hoping for people's experiences and thoughts on Create Fertility? I am considering them, so any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I am currently going through a short protocol with high stims with another clinic, baseline scan showed 4-5 follicles (expected that as I have low AMH/low ovarian reserves) but through my high stimulation am only showing 1, maybe 2 follicles that are growing...so cycle is not looking great.

So I wanted to consider Create as they specialise in natural modified and mild IVF, but would appreciate feedback on people's experiences as we would be going in multi cycle with my low AFC/AMH and want to ensure it's the best decision in those circumstances.

@Doxy21 Yes it's a thing my work introduced, it's great obviously to fund but also has been more stressful to set up and I've had to pay upfront anyway!

My first injection yesterday was perfect and I barely felt it, today it stung more and I forgot to press all the way so didn't actually deliver the meds and had to do it again! (With a fresh needle obviously - I see why they give you so many now 😄)

I’m so fucking pissed off. I’m feeling pregnant and testing negative. I’m so fucking angry at the situation. This is completely unfair, the world can fuck right off.

Hi @Woodcottage1 - are you able to ask for a blood test to confirm? Apparently that’s more accurate and the at home tests which can easily be faulty

I’ve done hundreds of tests starting on day 5. Tuesday I saw lines and since none. I’m suppose to have a blood test today but I’m not going, it would have shown yesterday and today if I was pregnant. I’m angry that I’ve done everything right, medically, support wise, everything, I’ve visualised to such an extent that it’s a shock I’m not pregnant. I physically feel pregnant, I’m angry that we have to face this, when we fight so hard for it and it’s so cruel. I’m going to have to go to cyprus for a last chance as I trust the team there. I’ve had to argue with create to get blood thinners and steroids. I just don’t trust the process here like I do in cyprus. Good luck ladies 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that @Woodcottage1 😔 If it was a chemical is it worth getting the blood test then at least you know what may have happened? Especially as you have been having symptoms

Thanks @Sunflower360. They only got one egg (one follicle too small, one with no egg), which I’m a bit disappointed about, but glad to have one at least. All hopes pinned on that one being a good one now…

@HopefulElle good to hear they got one, but sorry to hear about the others, can completely understand it would be disappointing. What size were the follicles when you had your last scan as they indicated they may find something if I remember correctly?

@Sunflower360 one was only 13/14mm so they were hoping it might catch up over the last couple of days so seems it stopped growing when I stopped stims. The other was 17mm I think, but doctor said it was just cells no egg.

@HopefulElle sorry about that. I didn't even know they could be cells, suppose they cannot tell by the scan perhaps

Had heard it can happen and that there’s no way to tell prior to EC. Ah well, at least I got one! Hope yours goes well tomorrow

Hi all!

Hope I'm okay to join. I get my injections delivered today with the hope of starting next week. Super excited but nervous too!

I've been reading this thread for a few days now before taking the leap and joining. Its so lovely to see that there's a space to talk through the process.

Bit of background, I'm 31 and we've found out we need to go through ICSI due to morphology issues with my husband.

My tests showed a very high AMH level so the protocol has been decided with a caveat that we may have to have freeze all in case I develop OHSS (Which I'm at risk of based on my results).
