Create Fertility - Experiences

Hi 👋

I was hoping for people's experiences and thoughts on Create Fertility? I am considering them, so any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I am currently going through a short protocol with high stims with another clinic, baseline scan showed 4-5 follicles (expected that as I have low AMH/low ovarian reserves) but through my high stimulation am only showing 1, maybe 2 follicles that are growing...so cycle is not looking great.

So I wanted to consider Create as they specialise in natural modified and mild IVF, but would appreciate feedback on people's experiences as we would be going in multi cycle with my low AFC/AMH and want to ensure it's the best decision in those circumstances.

I didn’t ask as at that point one of the dogs had slipped his leaf and I was having a nightmare. I can ask at the consultant follow up before the next round. My husband thinks it’s positive. I’m less positive but just have to keep my fingers crossed for Monday. We still have a chance.

Thanks @HopefulElle the embryo is being frozen. It’s got 7 cells and is grade 2. At day 3 they expect 6-10 cells and grade 1 is the best. So it’s an ok embryo. Not the best, but not bad. I hope everyone else is doing ok!

That’s great news @Doxy21! what’s your plan from here? Are you doing more retrievals?

My scan went well - One of the two smaller follicles has pretty much caught up with the biggest and the other isn’t too far off either. He said if we’re really lucky we’ll get three “to take a look at”.
Waiting for blood test results again but current plan is to scan again tomorrow morning and egg collection either Wed or Thurs.

That’s amazing @HopefulElle! 3 would be amazing. Yeah, we have one more retrieval which I think will be with my November cycle as husband is away at critical time if we go with October cycle

Thanks @HopefulElle that's good news that you'll have 3 to look at, fingers crossed! Mine is still pending blood results but there is a possibility I may need to increase stims and have a egg collection later this week instead of mid week or abandon altogether. Follicles are basically progressing really slowly, so I'm not holding out much hope. Will see what the update holds @Doxy21 that is good news, grade 2 is good (think it's out of 4 with 1 being highest), bet that's a relief and you can relax a bit

@Doxy21 hope you're able to relax a bit and then get the 3rd in in Nov. I really want to have all 3 done by the end of the year - know it’s totally out of my control but that’s my “aim” anyway!

@Sunflower360 hopefully things pick up this week for you, such a rollercoaster isn’t it? At least they’re monitoring you very closely, and if I recall you were just on the modified/mild boundary, so maybe increased stims would help?

I’m pleased so far but also not getting my hopes up too much. Having an egg collected at all is more than I thought possible a few months back, as my husband keeps reminding me!
Hoping they don’t call panicking with my bloods indicating ovulation this afternoon; that’s what happened cycle 1. Would really like to be able to push egg collection a couple of days. That said I also have the most important work event on Friday…
of course I’ll prioritise egg collection if they clash but it would be an awful thing to have to miss (haven’t told work about IVF), so Wed or Thurs would be ideal scenario.

Starting stims tomorrow so feeling nervous but also glad to be getting on with it. London based but not been to St Paul's yet!

Good luck @Sunflower360, hope that gives them a push! Scan again tomorrow for me - bloods seemed OK today but keeping a close eye.

Thanks @Sunflower360 - scan itself was horrific, she really struggled to find one of my ovaries, felt like they were doing the washing up in there 🤢 but once someone else tried, all good!
Egg collection booked in for Thursday and hope to collect 2-3. Really early start today so staying up til midnight for my trigger will be the next challenge!

@HopefulElle 2-3 that is really good! Fingers crossed for Thursday then. One of my ovaries is really hard to get to but thankfully it appears to be the lazy one as most the follicles are on the other side

@Sunflower360 Yes really pleased, but also conscious of not getting my hopes up too much in case they’re cysts or something. Fingers tightly crossed for Thursday! Mine are usually easy to find so not sure what happened this morning.

Thanks @HopefulElle I would think if they were cysts your bloods would show lower Oestradiol perhaps? I thonk I read somewhere around 1000 pmol could be 1 mature follicle, but of course everyone is so different so that could vary

Thanks for the welcome! Yes first go at 40, mild ivf. Starting with one cycle because my insurance doesn't cover the multi cycle package (annoying but also grateful to even have insurance!) so will see what's what.

Just did my first Gonal F injection. Watching the video and making sure I did everything right was more stressful than the actual injection itself which felt like nothing! I am sure I won't be saying that several days in
