Create Fertility - Experiences

Hi 👋

I was hoping for people's experiences and thoughts on Create Fertility? I am considering them, so any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I am currently going through a short protocol with high stims with another clinic, baseline scan showed 4-5 follicles (expected that as I have low AMH/low ovarian reserves) but through my high stimulation am only showing 1, maybe 2 follicles that are growing...so cycle is not looking great.

So I wanted to consider Create as they specialise in natural modified and mild IVF, but would appreciate feedback on people's experiences as we would be going in multi cycle with my low AFC/AMH and want to ensure it's the best decision in those circumstances.

Thanks @Sunflower360 went ok and I’ve gained a follicle (or maybe they just didn’t see it on Monday) - now praying bloods are OK to get started… how was yours?

That's good to hear @HopefulElle mine went same as yours by the sounds of it! So hopefully will be able to start stims, just pending blood results

Are they hoping to get 2 eggs this time @HopefulElle ? I remember you saying they would try for that after your first cycle

Hi @Sunflower360 yes triggering tonight. There’s 2 follicles so fingers crossed 2 eggs. Then onto the next drama. I’m hoping both fertilise as not had a problem with that before but I know o can’t assume. When do you find out if you’re starting stims?

@Doxy21 that's good that you have 2 follicles. If you had good fertilisation last time then hopefully the update would be similar this time and hopefully they would both be good and you can freeze them. Should know sometime this afternoon, they appeared confident earlier but it needs to be confirmed by the blood results

@Sunflower360 fingers crossed for both of us this afternoon! They did discuss changing my meds from my first cycle but ultimately decided to stick as is but to monitor extra closely, since my hormones peaked very quickly last time.
@Doxy21 good luck with your trigger and collection! 2 is great.

Great news @Sunflower360! They want me to start tomorrow, seems late but I had to pause a work call to answer so didn’t have much time for questions. Completely trust their judgement anyway and just so pleased it’s not cancellation number 3! (Appreciate it could still get cancelled later in but still, better progress than my last 2 cycles!)

Thanks ladies, sadly the embryo didn't make it but I am trying to remember we almost weren't doing cycle 3, we did it so we had no regrets later about not doing it so trying to just rest up and be kind to myself xx

Sorry to hear that @Jx3303. It’s such a lottery. Make sure you rest and allow yourself all the treats and space you need.

@Jx3303 sorry to hear that, as you say no regrets. My last round I didn’t get any. Hoping for my miracle with this transfer. I’m actually on holiday at the moment. Got a bit stressed on Tuesday unfortunately but hopefully no damage. Fingers crossed xx

Sorry to hear that @Jx3303 , as you say it was an extra go but nonetheless it is still hard. Hope your PGTA testing all goes ok and you can have a plan on next steps soon.

I'm ok, will just see how things go with the stims now. I'm not expecting much, if anything, from this cycle in all honesty as the start has been somewhat a miss in comparison to the last cycle. So will just see

Thanks ladies, these things happen sadly to lots of us. I'd hoped a cycle with nothing was behind us (we had two of those NHS) and that we could have added another after two positive cycles with create but I'm trying to not let it get me down - can't be predicted and just wasn't a good cycle I guess x

@Woodcottage1 how lovely you are on holiday, I hope you're having a nice time and the rest of the tww is a bit less stressful! Easier said than done isn't it.

@Sunflower360 I'm sorry you've not had the best of starts for this cycle but hopefully onwards and upwards from here. When is your next scan?

@Jx3303 good to be positive, each cycle can be so different but sounds like you have a good plan and have a good number of embryos in the freezer so hopefully all works out well in the end

Next scan is tomorrow so will see what that holds

@Sunflower360 I'm trying! I think I'd have taken it harder if it were my first cycle with Create, but also after what we went through with the MMC it took me a lot to go back down and it takes a lot out of me, so it's sad it wasn't a better outcome. However OH made a very good point that we were aiming for 1 embryo a cycle and although it's not worked out 1 a cycle numbers wise it's been better than we'd hoped (minus the MMC of course)

I really hope your scan goes well tomorrow! And that you can stay positive xx

Goodluck @Doxy21 for your egg collection and @HopefulElle for your scan today. I'm on cetrotide today so fingers crossed for possible egg collection mid week next week if things continue to develop

Thanks @Sunflower360 - 2 eggs and good sperm sample so hopefully both eggs mature and both fertilise
