Hi 👋

I was hoping for people's experiences and thoughts on Create Fertility? I am considering them, so any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I am currently going through a short protocol with high stims with another clinic, baseline scan showed 4-5 follicles (expected that as I have low AMH/low ovarian reserves) but through my high stimulation am only showing 1, maybe 2 follicles that are growing...so cycle is not looking great.

So I wanted to consider Create as they specialise in natural modified and mild IVF, but would appreciate feedback on people's experiences as we would be going in multi cycle with my low AFC/AMH and want to ensure it's the best decision in those circumstances.

Hi @Sunflower360 on what basis will it be cancelled? Sorry to hear that. Is it due to poor response to medication? I had that once at my previous clinic. Just had my scan. Looks like 2 front runners (15mm and 12mm). Scan again on Wednesday (or tomorrow based on bloods - hoping for Wednesday to give the 12 time to grow). I imagine I will have a collection on Friday. There’s so many women here waiting for bloods. Waiting room is overflowing! At my previous clinic you didn’t queue, you were called and it was much less stressful. I just had the nicest doctor scanning me (they are all nice but she was particularly lovely)

@Doxy21 their good sized follicles! Hope it all goes ok.

I haven't actually started stimulation, they kept it natural over the weekend. Oestradiol was bit low to start stimulation on Friday so likely will be the same today (or so the nurse thought anyway as she indicated about it possibly being cancelled). Will know for sure when my blood reaults are in, but with my cycle being short this month and not much natural follicle growth in the last 2 days I do feel perhaps this one will be abandoned as my cycle feels a bit messed up this month

So you didn’t start stims day 5? That happened to me last round but I started after the next scan on day 7. It was going to happen this round too but they changed their mind after bloods. Can they not give something to boost Oestradiol or is that not the preferred?

I'm sorry to hear that your cycle may be cancelled this month, it is disappointing. If it is cancelled hopefully the month break will be the restart your body needs. X

@Doxy21 glad to hear you've two big follicles growing and hopefully you'll be at collection before you know it! I found Mondays at my clinic super busy too - I assume just because if they don't HAVE to see you at the weekend they will push til Monday. It's always nice when you have an extra lovely doctor isn't it x

@Jx3303 thank you @Doxy21 nope didn't start on day 5 as they said they would like to see slightly higher Oestradiol levels, will see if they start me on stims tonight or just cancel it...

@Doxy21 yes quite, was geared up to get on with this, so it's deflating

So sorry to hear that @Sunflower360, know how disappointing it is. If you do have to have a month off then hopefully it gives your time to reset and means you’re not wasting a suboptimal cycle (and that you can make the most of the nice weather coming up!) But I know how frustrating it is.
Scan showed some growth since Friday for me, just waiting to hear back on bloods to see if I can get started. Really hope so as if I get a 3rd cancelled in a row I’ll lose the will…

Seems we are all in the waiting game - as always. I'm trying not to overthink why they haven't called yet, as I know it's different times every time but it's so unbelievably nerve wracking! Sending everyone love and good outcomes 🙏🏻

Embryo is at early blastocyst stage so being left until tomorrow - I had a feeling that was going to happen! Typical, another anxious morning tomorrow!

@Doxy21 much to my surprise I was actually ok during the tww, and I did not expect to be believe me! I actually enjoyed the unknown and didn't want test day to come - I was happy being oblivious for as long as possible haha x

@Doxy21 today is day 5 and in previous rounds they've been at blastocyst with a grade by this point. I do know every cycle and every embryo is different though so It is good it's still going, it just seems to be a bit slow. I'm trying to have faith in it being at the correct stage for fresh biopsy tomorrow 🙏🏻

@Jx3303 fingers crossed, and good plan to wfh, I try and wfh when I get those Embryologist calls.

I'm wondering if me starting early has messed up what stage of my cycle I'm on, as I'm normally 28/29 days but started 24 days (I never start early, only ever happened in my IVF cycle earlier this year). In which case I'd be surprised if I was to start the IVF cycle this month as my period after my last IVF cycle was 34 days long after starting it early...almost like it was correcting itself. But will see what the update call confirms

Had the call, they are keeping it still a natural cycle and I'm going in for another scan on Wednesday to see if there is follicle growth as my estrogen has increased. Has anyone started stimulation as late as day 8? That's what it'll be on Weds if I did start it, if there is hardly any follicle growth then it'll likely be cancelled I think

Hi @Sunflower360 - yes, me! I just had the call to say based on my bloods they don’t want me to start meds yet, so also back on Wed to rescan/take bloods. They said they’ve checked back on my first cycle to compare and I was a “slow starter” then too. I think it might have even been day 9 for me on first cycle, with egg collection on day 15. So hoping it’s the same/similar for this cycle. We’re not out yet 🤞🏼

@Sunflower360 I was a little disappointed, just because I’m so impatient to get going, but somewhat reassuring that it’s looking so similar to my first cycle, so still hopeful.

@HopefulElle @Sunflower360 sorry you ladies are still waiting to get started, really hope for good news for you both come Wednesday. Positive to hear that it's looking similar to your first cycle where you got a high quality blast, and I really hope it goes as well or even better this cycle.
