Hi 👋

I was hoping for people's experiences and thoughts on Create Fertility? I am considering them, so any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I am currently going through a short protocol with high stims with another clinic, baseline scan showed 4-5 follicles (expected that as I have low AMH/low ovarian reserves) but through my high stimulation am only showing 1, maybe 2 follicles that are growing...so cycle is not looking great.

So I wanted to consider Create as they specialise in natural modified and mild IVF, but would appreciate feedback on people's experiences as we would be going in multi cycle with my low AFC/AMH and want to ensure it's the best decision in those circumstances.

Signs of AF...hoping this classes as day 1 if it is a full flow or that could be tomorrow .... so hopefully will be able start stims come Weds or Thurs

Hi @Sunflower360 yes my scan yesterday showed there was one less follicle and they suspected I would trigger today for Thursday or tomorrow for Friday. Had a scan today and there was no further growth so it isn’t big enough yet. Another scan tomorrow so I guess I will trigger tomorrow for Friday or Thursday for Saturday. Are you starting soon? I’m now freaking out about collecting one follicle on natural modified in case it doesn’t fertilise but that would be bad luck as all mature eggs I’ve had collected so far fertilised and 3 out of 4 got to day 3 - I’m comforted a bit that create consider freezing on day 3 (I assume as they transfer day 3s so must apply to freezing too?!)

@Doxy21 hopefully that one will fertilise and they can freeze, good to know they are closely monitoring you. I'm going in for my day 5 scan tomorrow so will see if I get the green light to proceed

@Doxy21 they froze my one and only at day 3 on my first cycle. They said they’d likely push to day 5 in subsequent cycles, but recommended freezing at day 3 on first round, so that I’ll hopefully have options. Good luck!

Hi all, I haven't started yet

1. My next AF is due in 30 days time (so beginning of October)
2. I only just started taking supplements (a week), folate, CoQ10, Vit D & B12 (as I am low)
3. My baseline scan showed 1 follicle and low AMH

I cannot have retrieval in November as I am abroad for work. So given that I haven't 'cleaned up lifestyle' and only just started supplements, do you think I should got for October and then resume in December, or just focus or starting in December? (planning on the 3 cycle natural modified)

Also what's the pro's and cons of blasts being frozen at day 3 vs day 5?

@reen80 personally, to avoid thinking what if, I would ensure you feel comfortable with your lifestyle changes (diet/supplements) before starting. I have read it can take around 3 months to see benefits (if there are any, but that depends on which research you read). I've not had a feozen embryo as yet so not sure myself why day 3's get frozen before getting to day 5...I think perhaps its to do with giving it more chance by developing up to a day 5 inside you through a transfer perhaps? But I'm not 100%

What was your AMH @reen80 ?

Had my scan, 3 on the right (around 6mm's) and one on the left (9mm)... waiting on the call about the blood results to confirm if I can begin. What time do those calls come in?

@Sunflower360 My AMH is 2.16 pmol/l (that was 3 months ago). I am 43.5 years old. No other issues (i.e. PCOS, two small fibroids that they didn't seem concerned about)

@Doxy21 I had a top quality day 3 embyro frozen my first cycle that had 3 eggs fertilised. The other two then made it to day 5 and were also frozen. I think they do it when it's of a good quality and you don't have many - to ensure that you have at least one safely in the freezer for transfer. I could be wrong though but on my second cycle of 2 eggs that both fertilised they were both left to day 5 (one frozen and the other transferred which sadly resulted in a MMC), neither were frozen on day 3.

@Sunflower360 they told me at the scan to start. But I think calls in general come in between 3 and 6 where I am

This is correct - day 5 is meant to be the ideal. If they are worried that the embryo won’t survive to 5 they will freeze/transfer at 3 in the hope it will do better when back inside

I think that makes sense - as I understood it 5 is ‘preferred’ so if they think will go to 5 they will leave it but they keep a 3 for contingency

I don't suppose you know the success rates of Day 3 vs Day 5?

@Doxy21 thanks, had the call, can start stims tomorrow which day 6. Then scan on Friday. What were your blood levels like?

@Doxy21 @HopefulElle what cycle days did your egg collections end up being/ are due? Just trying to work out, if I get to that stage, when it might happen

@Sunflower360 I’m doing my trigger tonight. I started stims on day 7, added cetrotide on day 12, trigger day 14 and collection day 16. Good luck!

@reen80 I’m not sure but I presume day 5 has better odds as they know it has definitely made blastocyst stage

Goodluck @Doxy21 ! What were your measurements from the follicles?
