@Crystal88 chill out day sounds like the perfect thing. The gonal injection becomes easier after a few goes I think! I am ok thanks, just taking it one day at a time for the next few weeks x

@LF82 scan didn’t go to plan, I have cyst once again on right side

left is doing well

bloods taken, and then waiting call to see if cycle gets cancelled and will be Jan or whether we can continue xx

@Crystal88 so sorry to hear that…it’s good the left side is doing well though. It only takes one good embryo - I kept saying this a lot through treatment. Thinking of you & sending you lots of positive thoughts xx

@lf82 thank you for positive vibes, just had call they are carrying on and taking it scan by scan to see how it goes. So next scan on Wednesday and more bloods to see how I am progressing. Still keeping a open mind of that it can be cancelled at any time but if it is then they know best xx

@LF82 scan went ok, and they are saying my hormone levels are doing ok. they are saying that they will ignore the right side with cyst and concentrate on the left, as they are growing nicely they don't think the cycle will be cancelled, fingers crossed anyway. they think there will be 6/7 follicles which could be at right size by EC, but i know that doesn't mean i will get same amount of eggs. Another Scan tomorrow but i cant have it at normal local clinic has there is no space, so i need to go to main one in birmingham where they do the EC, so slightly nervous about going there has i used to staff at Wolverhampton reassuring me. just taking ever day has its comes. How are you feeling xx

@Crystal88 thats good news that the left side is doing well and your hormone levels are good. I am sure the staff at the bigger clinic are just as lovely as the ones you are used too. I am ok, taking it one day at a time. Getting through the next two weeks until the early pregnancy scan is going to be very hard/long x

scan update not so good news today no growth since Wednesday so they have changed my medication I am now on lower dose of gonal f and then luveris. Never heard of luveris but it’s given when LH level is low according to Google

another scan on Monday, no growth then will mean cancellation

just trying not to think about it and then see what Monday brings xx

@Crystal88 sorry the scan didn’t go well. It’s so hard when that happens. I hope you can keep yourself occupied this weekend & that Monday brings good news x

@LF82 scan was better today new medication seem to be working so another scan Wednesday, I have 4 folicilies on the left 2 x 15 and 2x14 plus some smaller one and on the right 12 so hoping to be able to have 4/5 folicilies the right size and hoping there will be eggs in them. Has the medication was a special one it means that they didn’t have any left at my normal clinic I had the only two lol, so had to go back to the Birmingham clinic to collect. This cycle certainly hasn’t been straight forward but still trying to stay positive. Hoping on Wednesday they have grown enough to book in EC

@Crystal88 so glad you have had some good news today even though it’s not as straightforward as you would like. Got my fingers crossed it all keeps working and you have a positive scan on Wednesday!

I am ok, had a bit of a wobble yesterday as had a tiny bit of brown spotting but spoke to the clinic and they said it’s common & likely to do with the progesterone pessaries/applicators. Am trying not to worry but it’s hard! X

@LF82 still not ready for EC only grown a little since Monday so few more days stims possible. Another scan tomorrow to check, so let’s see what that brings xx

@Crystal88 got my fingers crossed they do some growing over the next day! Try and get a walk in today to help the blood flow to the follicles x

@lf82 thank you for positive vibes, will have a nice walk at dinner into town i think rather than driving xx

I had egg collection yesterday and got 4 eggs

had a call today unfortunately none have fertilised so I am out again

just wasn’t meant to be xx

@Crystal88 I am so so sorry that this round didn’t bring you better news. I hope you are doing ok as you can and that you are giving yourself some time to rest, recover & decide next steps. Big hugs xx

@lf82 thank you i just want my withdrawal bleed to come as my hormone still feel through the roof. how long did it take for yours to come. I have only had it when a egg has been transferred and failed, never after stimulation and no transfer xx

@Crystal88 its always taken about 2 weeks for me. I hope it’s quicker for you 🤞 Hope you have been looking after yourself x

i have had my withdrawal bleed and starting to feel normal again. Just looking forward to Christmas now and then will decide how we go from there xx

All good here, coming up to 26 weeks. Had a couple of wobbles but overall feeling very excited.

I'm really sorry about your latest round, I hope you're OK. It's such a shitty, unpredictable process.

Hi @Crystal88 im so sorry to hear about your latest ivf round. It’s so tough to keep going through, I am sending so so much love.

I am now nearly 31 weeks pregnant which is exciting. We found out we are having a little boy 😍 but unfortunately he is also suspected of having congenital heart disease and will need to have surgery in the first 2 weeks after being born. So lots of processing that and trying to plan where we can.

Obviously I know I am lucky just to be having a baby anyway but after ivf and a missed miscarriage it did feel particularly unfair. (Hope this doesn’t come across as complaining I am feeling very lucky and fortunate in general).

My 7 week scan went to plan and I am now coming up to 10 weeks. It all still feels very surreal and I am just taking it one day at a time

@countrypunk oh wow 26 weeks! That has gone so quickly. I know what you mean about having wobbles. I had a private scan at the weekend as the 12 week one felt like it was too far away. Sending love x

@Foreverhoping33 can’t believe you are nearly 31 weeks! And a little boy 🥰 I am
so sorry to hear about his possible heart condition, it must be so much to get your head around but I guess the fact they know and have prepared you about what needs to happen to help him after he is born is good. It’s amazing what they can tell before birth. Sending you love & strength x

@Foreverhoping33 that gone so quick, no its not wrong to feel the way you do. When doing things by IVF, things are never easy from creation to carrying, and Birth. You have already came so far to get to this point, you are so strong we all are. you have to be do IVF. i am sure your little boy will be just like you a fighter and will cope with anything thrown your way. xx

@countrypunk over half way , time has flew by. sorry it hasnt been straight forward for you but i echo what i said above you are so brave and you have got this. Stay positive and keep me updated xx

Thank you all for your kind messages, i have good days when i look to future and bad where i feel a failure. I got contacted by my Clinic they have moved my review appointment to Friday afternoon was meant to be after Xmas , hopeful they will give me a miracle plan on how to improve my eggs for next round, or whether they say they cant do anything else, then its either using Egg donor or look into adoption. Nothing is going to stop me being a Mom. 2024 will be my year :)
