@countrypunk it really really is a rollercoaster isn't it, I feel like I'm constantly up and down. And totally exhausted but just got to keep going 💪🏻

Aw that's fab news so pleased for you! Another step and milestone 🩷 it must be nice to have been discharged! How lovely you were able to tell family, I'm sure they were delighted. Will you do a social media post or anything? And will you find out gender?

@Jx3303 I'm not really on social media so no! My DP's on Facebook but he's extremely private and would rather die than announce something like this 😆

I think we're just going to wait for a surprise. I think if this is our one and only, which it could well be, a surprise will be nice. DP would definitely find out if I wanted to though.

@countrypunk totally understand that! Neither me nor OH are on Facebook anymore and I delete Instagram a lot and have just now again - I follow lots of fertility pages which are good but I don't deal well with all the happy family posts and how fake and one sided it can be. So completely with you there.

A surprise will be lovely 🥰 so much of that is taken away from us with IVF it will be nice to have that x

Thank you so much ☺️ I'm trying to stay positive and think that if we get one more embryo it will be worthwhile. And hopefully that will be my collections done. OHs insurance can't help with PGT-A testing seeing as it's an add on and red on HFEA, not sure if they can help with a FET. They can do single cycles apparently so I guess it's a safety net but I SO hope we don't need it x

I had real trouble sleeping & hot flushes last night- assuming it’s the injections as it was cold again here after the nice weather. Next injection on Monday - just want it done!

@LF82 I know, I'm trying to be chill but I can feel I'm tense as my neck hurts and it always does when I'm stressed. I would just like to have them safe.

Where are you off to for your holiday? Be lovely to get away ☀️

Hopefully the injection on Monday will be the last 🤞🏻 really hope so! Hot flushes and trouble sleeping isn't great! It's cold up here too and I quite like it - blue sky's and crisp mornings I enjoy ❄️ I'm here for the jumpers and jackets! It's hard in Scotland even when it's "summer" cos it can change so quickly so knowing how to dress is difficult haha x

@Jx3303 we are off to Greece, just looking forward to a week of doing nothing. I really hope this is the last injection too. I realised I actually have no real idea how the frozen transfer process works - hoping all this consent videos I need to watch will explain!

I am quite looking forward to autumn too - and jumpers & jackets!

@LF82 how lovely ☀️ you'll have a great break I'm sure. Nice and relaxing and doing nothing sounds ideal.

I don't really know either but when I was asking the cost for it with my coordinator she said the meds were Utrogestan and Progynova (this is a synthetic oestrogen replacement according to google) if it was a medicated protocol. I think from my research you start meds cycle day 2, they do a scan cycle day 8-11 and if your lining is fine then book you in for your transfer day the following week and you start the progesterone. With natural I think there is no oestrogen but you track with scans, bloods and OPKs or have a trigger to precisely time ovulation.

They said tomorrow, and I'd receive a 2 hour delivery window today - so I had better!! I'll be giving them a call this afternoon if I don't get anything soon xx

@LF82 how did your injection go today? Will you have a scan this week and then you'll know if next you can begin preparing for your FET?

My medication arrived on Friday, period started on Saturday but light so cycle day 1 was yesterday. First monitoring scan booked for Thursday so I'm getting the train down on Wednesday! I'm staying a few nights then OH and pup down Saturday and we've booked two lovely Airbnb's for our stay and have taken Monday - Friday off next week so it will be nice to be able to do things whilst we are down and not work. Hopefully it doesn't rain the whole time 😂

@Jx3303 it was ok thanks- stung a bit! Next scan is in 3 weeks so I have a bit of a wait. Need to be patient!
that’s fab news that your meds arrived on time! Glad you are all booked & ready to go for your next cycle. So good you guys are taking a few days off - time together doing some nice things in the midst of all this will be fab. Xx

@LF82 ouch not fun! Ah sorry I think you did say that the last time! Hopefully the best few weeks fly by!

Yeah we didn't last time; other than travel days and collection and we had the weekends of course but now it's later in the year and we still have holidays left we may as well use them and enjoy our time in between appointments. Xx

i Just finishing packing, fly out Saturday to Rhodes. And then hopefully after treatment consultation and weigh in I can start end of October, I feel more nervous this time has the last one seemed to be such a disaster xx

@LF82 yeah we've booked two really lovely Airbnb's in the Peak District with amazing views so hopefully it will be good for the soul. The dog will be living her best life that's for sure!

@Crystal88 thank you lovely! One injection down haha many more to go. Trying to stay chill, when I overthink doing the meds myself I worry I'm doing it wrong but I just need to take my time. Ah not long now at all til your holiday! Great to get away before you start again. I know, every cycle is so nerve wracking isn't it, but also every cycle is different so go into it knowing it's a new one with new chances 🩷 I'm trying to look at it like that but it's so hard not to worry xx

@Crystal88 have a fabulous holiday & truly try & relax before your consultation and the start of treatment again. It’s so nerve wracking so I definitely understand you be anxious x

Arrived safely with no train mishaps yesterday, and the lady who runs this airbnb is absolutely lovely ☺️

Day 5 scan this morning went ok - 4 follicles and likely aiming for 2 eggs which I'm ok with given that's what we got last time. Being back there had me feeling all sorts of emotions and the nurse was so lovely it of course made me tear up 🥹

Cetrotide was added after my scan (which scuppered my plans of working in costa and enjoying a nice coffee and lunch with the voucher my Mum gave me for coming down bless her - and meant I lugged my laptop all the way to my appointment and back haha) so just been working in the apartment but going to have a little walk and treat myself to a nice coffee soon.

@LF82 the sun is out ☀️ although it was chilly. Started my squirrel counting again which always makes me happy 🐿️

@Jx3303 glad you got here safely & your first scan went well! You will definitely have to replant that costa coffee & lunch on your next scan. It’s been a lovely sunny day hasn’t it. Long may it last! X

@LF82 thank you 😊 I had a lovely coffee and cake at the little coffee hut at Carrs park in wilmslow and chatted to two ladies and a dog this afternoon haha. Yes for sure, I'll have plenty of time on Saturday waiting for OH to arrive after my appointment so I'll set up camp with a coffee and my book. Looking forward to your holiday? Xx

@Jx3303 hows it going? Did your OH arrive ok? We flew out this morning & currently relaxing by the pool. Don’t think I realised how tense & stressed I actually was until I got on the plane. @Crystal88 how are you? Are you away now? X
