@Jx3303 my motivation is to try and get better BMI so i can get a better chance of it working lol. And the fact the clinic has booked me if for a weight check week after my holidays. so i need to have a bit of wiggle room, so i can enjoy Rhodes. To be fair i cant see me hitting the 12 1/2 stone target, i will be happy if hit 13 stone, but trying to be harsh and try my best.
I think most of my weight loss is due to being less bloated now, i think my body has settled down. i have also downloaded a calorie counting app and you scan what you have eaten and calculates for you. it good has i look on the app and think ive had too much today, so no treat or i have been good so i an have a treat. There was PT on facebook that was talking about weight loss and he said dont limited anything just look for lower alterative, ie lean beef and make your own burgers than buy ready made. my biggest problem is clearing my plate and having my other half left over even if i am full lol, trying to do that less often. xx

@countrypunk going to blackpool weekend so might just have a mcdonalds, to reward being good lol xx

Hi all.

Sensitive information

I'm pleased to announce that Oliver Rhys was born on Thursday 10th August weighing 7lb 12oz via cesarian ❤️❤️❤️. We're all doing well, battling the lack of sleep and pain from breastfeeding but otherwise full of love 😊.

It's been one big emotional journey but it's so worth it in the end. Sending love to you all xxx

Jx3303 · 17/08/2023 09:31

@Cat89 congratulations 💙 such a lovely name, I hope his arrival went smoothly and you’re healing well and enjoying the lovely baby bubble. Sending love and cuddles xx

LF82 · 17/08/2023 09:52

Crystal88 · 17/08/2023 12:21

@Cat89 thats great my friend had her baby Tuesday and called him Oscar. When I saw the O I thought it was going to be same name lol

glad your both doing well, please keep updating us on how you are both doing xx

hows everyone else doing, I’ve brought myself one of those hulla hoop with ball weight, hopefully it will help with weight loss. Only had it two days and I can feel it on my stomach, hopefully it doing something. I only went Blackpool for two night the weekend and managed to put on 3 lb I dread to think what I will weigh when I come back from Rhodes after a week. 5 weeks until then though so drop has much weight has possible and then week after Rhodes before weigh in

no news yet on AMH level will have to chase next week xx

Hopewishprayer · 17/08/2023 20:00

@Cat89 congratulations, lovely news and what a beautiful name x

LF82 · 17/08/2023 20:43

@Crystal88 i always find it hard when I am on holiday! My plan when we are away later in the summer is to try and do some swimming everyday & some walking to help combat all the nice food! You will have to let us know how the hula hoop goes! I am just on a waiting game now - first down reg injection is next week x

countrypunk · 18/08/2023 16:35

@Cat89 Amazing news, congratulations to you and your DH. Beautiful name too. Hope you're recovering well and enjoying the love bubble ❤️❤️❤️

@LF82 how did your first injection go xx

how is everyone else doing xx

LF82 · 22/08/2023 12:47

@Crystal88 it was ok felt it a little going in! The needle was huge which is why I don’t think they let you do it yourself. How are you doing? X

Crystal88 · 22/08/2023 18:23

@LF82 glad it went ok

how many of them do you need to have
and then what is the next stage for you

I have an appointment next week to discuss my blood results and decide what the plan is for next cycle. But I also have a weigh in first week in October after my holiday to see whether I have meet my target of 12.7 which isn’t a realistic, I’m aiming for 13 stone which is another 5 pound. I don’t think they can refuse me as I am still within bmi they want, and I’m paying after all

i was hoping to start end of October but they can’t get me treatment consultation until 26th and period due 29th so I think it will be too close, so probably be end of November so it will either be a happy Christmas or another one where I am recovering another a negative result like my first cycle last Christmas xx

LF82 · 22/08/2023 21:10

@Crystal88 they said possibly 2-3 minimum, they basically will scan me in 3 weeks and see how I have reacted and then another injection and another scan. At the second scan they do some bloods and make a decision as to start a FET or have another injection
I think if your BMI is in the limit then they can’t ask for more. You are doing a great job with the exercise etc. how’s the weighted hula hoop going? I have my fingers crossed at your consultation they say you can start in oct 🤞

hope everyone else is doing ok xx

Crystal88 · 23/08/2023 17:26

@LF82 sounds positive for you

keeping my fingers crossed

hoop going ok, I try to do at least 15 minutes a day and then walk to make it up to 30 minutes. Can do it without stopping for a minute but hoping I will get in rhythm and keep it going longer. Removed one link on the band so far but it’s not inches, it weight I want to lose lol xx

LF82 · 28/08/2023 17:21

@Crystal88 hope your appointment goes well this week.

how is everyone doing? X

Jx3303 · 30/08/2023 08:23

Sorry took some time away, hope you're all doing well 🩷

@LF82 glad your first injection went well, how are you feeling now, any side effects? X

@Crystal88 I hope you're appointment went well / goes well this week (not sure when you have it) and they are able to decide your plan going forward.

Not much new from me, struggled the last few weeks (periods hit harder these days), I have my scan to check the cyst is gone on Friday and a call with the consultant 11th September. I'm hoping we can go down with my next cycle which should be the second last week of September to do the 3rd egg collection then take it from there x

LF82 · 30/08/2023 09:52

@Jx3303 Taking some time out is great. I have been lucky and had no real side effect so far 🤞 So sorry the last few weeks have been hard- really get what you mean about periods being harder during ivf. I have everything crossed for you for your scan on Friday & that you can start next cycle x

Jx3303 · 30/08/2023 10:17

@LF82 that's great you've had no side effects. When are you back? I hope it's been ok for you with the communication etc. Yeah I think the missed miscarriage has just created so much anxiety and fear going forward, I worry I'm not ready but also the waiting gets tough after a while. I attended an online support group on Monday evening held by the miscarriage association as I really want to try and deal with my feelings but I get stuck in a rut a lot xx

LF82 · 30/08/2023 10:22

@Jx3303 i have my scan in 2 weeks and 2nd injection the week after that. It’s so understandable that you are anxious and worried after all that you have been through. It’s great that you are doing something - I hope the session on Monday helped? One step at a time I think is key in everything and being kind to yourself. This is such a hard journey x

Jx3303 · 30/08/2023 10:27

@LF82 i hope that the medication is doing a fast job and you won't need the 3 and can do your transfer really soon! Did you say you had a wee holiday planned coming up?

Yeah it was nice, it was quite a small group and I hadn't intended to really talk but it was easier than I'd expected. It made me know my feelings are normal and I'm not alone. It also reminded me how lucky I am to have such a good support around me, sadly not everyone does. I ament very good at being kind to myself, constantly beating myself up xx

LF82 · 30/08/2023 13:52

@Jx3303 its so easy to fall into the trap of doing that…. I always get told when I do to treat myself how I would treat a friend x

Crystal88 · 30/08/2023 16:08

Hey all

just had consultation my AMH is 4.6 so create it is as I’m too low for ABC

just waiting for costing and then see when I can start, hoping for end of October but let’s see what they say, they are waiting for specialist to view records to see what medication can be changed to and this will determine cost

one more try and I’m looking to be positive, agreed that weight can be 13 stone now instead of 12.7 they set me so only 4 lb left and holiday weight to lose so hopefully will be fine

hope everyone else is well xx

LF82 · 30/08/2023 21:09

@Crystal88 its great that you have a plan now that you have had your consultation. Did they say how long it would take the specialist to give their view? I am really trying to lose some weight too but I don’t think the bank holiday weekend did me any favours! X

Crystal88 · 31/08/2023 06:06

@LF82 i am hoping by next week, if not before holidays. Fly out 23rd

I have weight check 6th October and I already have a treatment consultation booked in for 26th October but I want to try and bring it forward, has I am due on 30th October and would be too close to get meds. Fingers crossed it possible otherwise it will be end of November and will be close to xmas. Glad they have agreed I only need to be 13 stone, has lots people are saying I look ill has I have lost lots of weight in my face, and I can also enjoy myself on holiday. Xx
