@Foreverhoping33 glad no one questioned you at the weekend! Hopefully getting to 12 weeks will feel fast!

I am currently doing my best to try and not map out what might happen over the next few weeks x

@Foreverhoping33 Agreed - my partner has forbidden me from testing early and we don't have any in the house. Six more days. Can't seem to stay away from google which makes it worse... how are you doing? How many weeks are you now? So exciting 💜

@LF82 Ha, I feel your pain! The waiting is the worst part about IVF I think.

@countrypunk you need to try & plan things to do to keep you occupied! I find when I have time on my hands I think a lot! X

@LF82 thanks I’m in work today and trying to stay distracted but it’s not working already left my desk to walk around depot several times to pass the time lol.

@countrypunk my other half won’t let me test either. The two tests I have were given to me by the clinic they gave me one with meds and then must of forgotten and then I had on given me at ET

only few days to wait for me but it murder, almost finished the second pack of utrogestan, so will be on last pack tomorrow which is one more sign the wait is almost over

still trying to stay positive but I dread it when I go to loo has still got bad cramping and my breast are less sore and heavy than they was a few days ago. I will just carry on with the flow and what will be will be xx

@Crystal88 You're so nearly there and you've done so well to not test!

I think I'm having more side effects from the pessaries this time - I feel quite anxious which I didn't have on my first two transfers 😕

@Crystal88 you and @countrypunk are both doing so well. I have everything crossed for you both

i nearly burst into tears today at work, someone was telling me how there wife was pregnant, they had a failed IVF but have caught naturally. i had to just listen to him saying about his miracle and i was trying my hard not to cry :( i was happy for him but it was hard not to say i hope that is me too xx

@Crystal88 oh bless you, it’s so hard isn’t it. Hoping your miracle will come soon! Xx

@Crystal88 Oh love. Sometimes it's so hard hearing about other people's pregnancies. Particularly when you have to maintain your composure, like at work. Lots of love. Xx

Starting bleeding today and really cramping so I think I know what tomorrow test result will be
i always knew that this round would be miracle has nothing has gone to plan with it

hoping that when I speak to nurse for debrief they might have some reason why I didn’t get many eggs, but probably not has it will all be guesses

looks like moving onto next round, let’s see how long it takes my body to recover this time

Will you be able to have a consultation with a doctor before your next round to discuss any tweaks? I think I've mentioned this a few times but I started taking NMN a couple of months ago: https://www.british-supplements.net/products/nmn-nicotinamide-mononucleotide

I made better quality embryos this time and more from fewer eggs. It could be complete coincidence but maybe worth a try? I've read a few studies about NMN including one where egg quality was improved in old mice! I think human trials are happening now. It looks fairly hopeful.

@Crystal88 oh I’m so sorry to hear your update, I hope you are ok! Take lots of time for yourself and your partner to recover and recoup, these things are so tough! I’m sending you lots and lots of love.

a talk with the doctors and nurses sounds like a good idea, even if they can’t tell you what happened they may have some good ideas for changes in next cycle to improve things.

i hope you know how strong you are for going through ivf and dealing with all the rubbish it brings. You will get there in the end it may just take more time. Xxxxxxx

@Crystal88 I am so sorry to hear that, I hope you are doing as ok as you can and that you take time to look after yourself. This ivf journey is so, so hard x

Little update from me - we had day 6 scan today and there were 9 follicles… they are hoping 6 will grow enough for egg collection. Next scan on Friday x

What stims are you on?

@countrypunk they have kept me on 150 of gonal f as that’s what I had my very first cycle where we got our best result. Am just v nervous it will all go wrong but trying my best to think positive and take it one day at a time! Have taken cetrocide today as well to stop ovulation. Going to try and do a lot of walking the next few days to help blood flow and get things to grow!

@LF82 Yes walking is good! That's interesting, I wonder if I'd have a better result on lower stims. I think I want to try that next time. It sounds like you're having a good response - 9 follicles is great.

One day at a time as you say. I know it's very very difficult to think like that though!

Test date is Sunday 😬😬😬 I have zero symptoms compared with last time though so not feeling too hopeful. I just want to know either way!

tested this morning just to make sure as it was negative

i don’t think it’s fully sunk in yet I no last time it took a while.

just gonna take some time and see what the nurse says on the feedback appointment in few weeks to decide how to proceed

I always said I would try 3 times and then look at adoption so one try left if they say it’s ok to try again xx
