@LF82 we understand. Hope you're feeling a bit better today. Some days are just hard aren't they.

It makes me so mad when clinics behave like that. Most of us are spending our lives' savings on IVF, and lack of comms is just not good enough.

No, I've got to white knuckle it all the way to Wednesday now 😬 I really find it impossible to tell myself it's going to be bad news. Hope seems to creep in every time!

@countrypunk i completely get that - if we didn’t have hope we wouldn’t be doing this. I have everything crossed for you x

@countrypunk I'm glad to hear your last update you had 4 growing, but I understand the anxiety and the waiting until Day 5 is so tough. Sending you lots of love and I really hope the next update is positive and you'll be in for transfer 💕

@LF82 I'm sorry to hear that, know that wobbles are completely normal in all of this. Some days are harder than others for sure. I really hope you hear back very soon. If not keep calling them and chasing - which you shouldn't have to do!! I hope you're feeling a little better today?

@Crystal88 how are you feeling?

I had a call today with the Dr for a debrief. It was the Dr that did my collection and transfer so I was glad it was him. He was so empathetic and compassionate and restored my faith in myself - which I really needed. It turned into a bit of a "what's next" conversation and there are quite a few options for next step which we'll need to really think about. I'm glad I had it as I think I needed to hear it was nothing I or we did. Doing final holiday prep and can't wait to go Wednesday x

@Jx3303 I’m ok just feel achy in my back and hips and around belly button area, I think it just wind has I just feel like I constantly bloated

trying not to read to much into symptoms, just going with the flow

i keep looking at holidays for September to keep my mind busy

glad you have options and hopefully after your holidays you can explore them xx

I am much better than I was at the weekend- down days are to be expected I guess. My patient co ordinator finally got in touch - just a brief sorry it’s taken me so long! At least I have the costs now and we are just about to order meds. Then it’s just a wait & see when AF arrives and if a scan shows all the old follicles have gone before we can go again x

@LF82 I’m ok hormones feel so all over the place, sore breast, back ache. So bloated, I feel like a beach whale when I turn over in bed lol

trying not to read into symptoms but I feel different than I did last time

just want my test date now to see if a miracle has happened 9 days and counting until D day xx

Feeling a bit tearful and blue today, maybe it's the hormone comedown after egg collection. Or maybe it's anxiety ramping up for tomorrow...

@countrypunk its no doubt a bit of both & totally understandable and allowed! Did they say what time they would contact you tomorrow with an update/ for you to go in? X

@LF82 It should be fairly early, about 9:30 hopefully.

@countrypunk yes I can understand the anxiety the night before a hopeful transfer, mixed with coming off the hormones can definitely make us feel all over the place so do not worry you are not alone!! I’m keeping every finger crossed for you that tomorrow goes ahead and leads to a positive result! You deserve this!! glad you don’t have to wait long in the morning. Xxx

@Crystal88 i feel for you the tww after a transfer is always such a tough time! But you have got this 💪💪. Keep up that positive attitude you have had all along and I’m crossing all my fingers for the best result in a couple of days. Hope you are keeping busy and distracting yourself as much as possible! Xxx

@Jx3303 I’m so glad you spoke to the doctor and he reiterated that what happened had nothing at all to do with anything you did! It just happens and it sucks!! But I have heard that it can lead to higher success rates next time so hopefully that is some silver lining. Anyways I hope you have an Absolutely fantastic holiday and manage to completely switch off from work and ivf. Sending lots of love.

@LF82 so sorry to hear about your blue days over the weekend. I definitely get what you’re talking about and went through some very dark days in May 😞. I’m glad your coordinator finally got back to you and you are ready to move forwards. Here’s hoping for AF to begin so you can get started again. Remember we will be here to support you!

im doing ok, symptoms fluctuating between feeling completely normal and then other days retching so im fluctuating between feeling ridiculously anxious and it all being fine. I think scan on Thursday will be good to know one way or the other now, I have gone down a serious rabbit hole of planning out my Mat leave and baby names it’s not so good 😅. Unfortunately scan is at 4.40pm on Thursday so I have the whole day to freak out! 😂 Xxxx

It's been a nail-biting morning... we've got one blastocyst being transferred today and two more early blastocysts that may or may not be suitable for freezing tomorrow.

I wish now that I'd asked if they could just transfer the whole lot!

@Foreverhoping33 Thank you 🥹 I was so afraid we'd come out of this with nothing so absolutely delighted we have one for transfer 🥳 (trying not to get my hopes up about the others but it's great that we have a chance of one or two in the freezer) xxx

@countrypunk that's brill news, it means that our test dates will be around same time, hopefully to BFP for both of us.

i am feeling very hormonal now, last night i was really off with my other half, i just wanted to be on my own, so i went upstairs to watch TV and it helped. I think he was annoying me has he kept asking if i am ok, every 10 minutes lol. xx

@Crystal88 Thank you, so nice that our test dates will be similar! I think mine will be 16 July. Which works out well because DP is going away for a week on 17. Wouldn't want to do it without him.

Sometimes my DP annoys me just by breathing. Totally relate to needing alone time, especially if he's constantly asking how you're feeling - that would do my head in too! Xx

last time tested night before, but i already knew i was out last time has i had started my period, not sure if i will test early this time.

what time is your transfer xx

@countrypunk mine was 1.30, but stupid clinic told me to be there for 12.30 so i was sitting with a full bladder for ages.

its really dragging this time, hoping that by weekend it will go quick lol
