Hi all,

I'm about to start my first IVF ICSI cycle. I expect to start my stims next week and all being well will have a fresh transfer in April.

Looking for buddies to come on this journey with me.

This the progression from yesterday to today on the less sensitive tesco tests..... I think its good? What do you guys think? Possibly still too faint? Xxx

@MRSLMF in the loveliest kindest way xx stop testing and get yourself the first of two hcg blood tests. My clinic didn't do them so I went private cost me £45 each but gave me a conclusive answer. You'll send yourself loopy if you keep testing as much. I know it's hard. We have all been there. But for your own sanity I think you should get the blood tests xx

I'm having another scan today and potentially Thursday, but I'm pretty sure this is another cancelled cycle 😔

The nearest place to me for bloods is an hour away, do you think gp would do them? Xxx

@MRSLMF gp won't do it xx mine was a bit of a trek but worth it for the peace of mind. Thank you for taking my words kindly. They were only meant that way I promise xx

@VioletCookie I'm so sorry this has happened. I can't even imagine how frustrated and sad you must be feeling right now. I really hope you get some clarity soon.

@MRSLMF I'm so happy for you, this is great news.

So I held on until the clinic advised and unfortunately it was a BFN. I knew it was coming as after I passed the clot, I stopped having any symptoms but was still very hard to see the negative result

@Flower356 awww I'm so sorry that happened, have you got any next steps planned to help you move forwards? When my fet failed in April I needed a plan ASAP to stop me from hurting so bad ❤️
I'm doing okay, based dark brown stringy discharge this morning and had low back ache since Friday with sharp pains in my right groin area, I did call the clinic this morning but they were useless just said take paracetamol and re test Friday, my tests are definitely darkening though so I'm keeping positive about it. Clinic seemed to think my positive tests are trigger still even tho that was 15 days ago and i tested it out!
Still havnt found anywhere that has availability to do hcg blood test 2 days apart in the near future! Might just hold fire till Friday and see where we are at.
I'm also going to Greece om 18th August and nervous about flying? I mean people go abroad for ivf so must be OK? Xxx

Game over for me too, transfer is officially cancelled for the second time in a row. There is definitely a polyp so we'll have to pay for another Hysteroscopy and pray that they can see it this time! Apparently the other clinic did it at the wrong time...

@VioletCookie I'm so so sorry to hear that. I had mine as part of a mock transfer cycle and had it done on what would have been transfer day as well at the ENDOMETRIO test xx

@MRSLMF It does look quite good! @CR7 is absolutely right, but I can't blame you as I did exactly the same thing after my transfer 🙈 Whether you continue testing or not, I hope the next few days pass quickly and you still continue with a positive result! Is this from your morula transfer? If so it makes me nervous about my decision to PGT test as I guess these would have been discarded before that point?! 😣

@April623 they mentioned PGT testing to us at day 3 but the embryos can self correct by day 5 so we thought we'd discuss again on day 5 but then as we only ended up with the 2 morulas we couldn't anyway! The embryologist said before the transfer some embryos do better once back in natural environment and fingers crossed it looks like that may have happened. Xxx

Thanks everyone for being so nice. Waiting for the clinic to get in touch to find out what we will do next.

We've booked a nice day out for the weekend and I've taken a couple of days off work, but nothing is making me feel any better right now. Just got to go through it I guess

I've just ordered my medication for my next round, I'll be starting scans and meds here roughly 23rd August then heading to Alicante on or around 28th for duo stim IVF. Two egg collections scheduled for September then we'll see where we are 🙏🏼🤞🏼 I have a wobble when parting with the money, it's such a lot when the outcome is so uncertain!! 🙉

@April623 totally understand. The only two people I know who have done it (me and my friend) have both been successful. She's had her baby and I'm going to be 18weeks next week xx

Sending you lots of luck and when you get to transfer, make sure you ask for a progesterone blood test on transfer day to check your levels

@CR7 That's very reassuring! And thanks for the progesterone tip, I will definitely ask for that if I make it to transfer! 🤞🏼
