Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

Welcome @Skincareaddict! I also didn’t have an injection, just oestrogen until 3-4 days before my FET when I started the progesterone and all went well with the transfer.

I’m 7+2 today and have been cramping on and off especially in the morning and night. Trying not to freak out as I’m not spotting and everything I’m reading says it’s normal. I have endo so usually my period cramps are excruciating. These are mild in comparison but still quite uncomfortable, but they do feel disconcertingly exactly like AF cramps. Is anyone else getting this? Telling myself I can’t expect a baby to grow and stretch my uterus without expecting some cramping!

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 06:55

@graygoose I am getting mild cramps too especially in the morning! It’s worried me too as so similar to period cramps but trying really hard not to worry xx

Bookiebooboo · 24/04/2023 06:56

Hi @Skincareaddict im currently in an FET and have my transfer this Friday, I am on 6 tablets a day of progynova (estrógen) and I started progesterone Saturday evening so 5 days before transfer, no injections. Had a scan last week on lining to check it’s ok and this time round it is thick enough!! ( had last months cycle cancelled due to thin lining) but the doctor checked my ovaries on the scan and I also had a blood test to check if I have ovulation and I didn’t as they said my ovaries are asleep with these medications and doses so I hope this reassures you as I am a regular ovulater also and questioned it 🙉🤞 best of luck for your cycle xx

Bookiebooboo · 24/04/2023 06:59

heeey @zus how you doing girl? I haven’t been on in a while trying to detress myself and not read too much online this time around 🤣🤣🙉 but I have my transfer on Friday thankfully all was ok with my lining this cycle!!! I’m excited now but worrying about the next hurdle lol 😂 it never ends! How are you feeling how are your symptoms xx

laurapop · 24/04/2023 07:03

@graygoose @MS2692 I'm getting cramping too similar to period pains. I rang the clinic as it was really uncomfortable the other night and they said it's totally normal.

I also remember having this for weeks last time!

When is your scan @graygoose ? Xx

Zus · 24/04/2023 08:41

@Bookiebooboo hey Hun, I'm so happy for you! What an amazing news! So are you ready for Friday? 3 more days to go until your transfer! How exciting! I know it's a mixed emotions right 😆

I'm feeling good, I just wanted to have a scan and then get a confirmation that all ok with the pregnancy. Afterwards, I can start enjoying this pregnancy and feel that I'm pregnant haha 😂 my scan is on Thursday. Still feel like it's far awayyyyyyy!

Are you planning to take holiday for a week or anything like that?

graygoose · 24/04/2023 08:57

@laurapop that’s reassuring! I know it must be somewhat normal, it’s just everything is so new and I’m so anxious!

I had a scan last week at 6+6 and we saw a little heartbeat 💓 I’m going for another scan next week when I’ll be 8 weeks. I’m probably going overkill but I’m basically doing a scan every 2 weeks for reassurance. I know it doesn’t change anything but I think it greatly helps my mental health and that’s worth the money for me at the moment!

Jazsimone · 24/04/2023 09:27

Morning all, how are you all feeling?

So I am 2 days away from OTD, do you think it is worth calling the clinic and getting booked in for HCG blood test?

I'm just conscious that I am going on holiday in 2 weeks so I might be late for my scan.....

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 12:21

Had my blood result back from clinic they said it’s positive with a hcg reading of 1158 (?) not sure what that means! Xx

Jazsimone · 24/04/2023 13:04

@MS2692 that's amazing, its a great number for your first HCG bloods, everyone's numbers are different so you cant really compare them.

xx

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 14:56

@Jazsimone Thank you! How are you doing??

They’ve booked a 7 week scan for 17th May which is over 3 weeks away 😩 it’s going to be a long and anxious 3 weeks xx

Jazsimone · 24/04/2023 15:38

@MS2692

I'm good thank you, I have all the emotions at the moment but I'm really happy.

My 7 weeks scan should be around the same time I believe.

My HCG test will be on Saturday, I should get my result the same day so I will let you know my magic number.

Everything moves slowly once the BFP comes

❤️

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 16:04

Yes please keep me posted will be so nice if we both have similar scan dates! All the best for the HCG test on Saturday I hope this week goes quickly xxx

MrsRandMrsR · 24/04/2023 16:11

Lovely to read some positive news on here, feel like I’m dragging it down all the time with my own updates 😅 my wife had her bloods done today. 22091. I’m not sure if that’s too high or what? I couldn’t question it because I wasn’t there and just got the number via a text. But we’re like 6wks and 2 so that’s seems awful high?

Bookiebooboo · 24/04/2023 17:16

Awww @zus that’s brilliant news Thursday is the day you’ll have to give us a little update! I know it feels so far away today is only Monday lol and I’m buzzing for Friday which also feels like a year away 🤣🤣🙉🙉 I’m not planning much just taking it easy, mother in law is coming over Saturday for a few days she thinks I’m having a gyno op lol we haven’t told anyone we are doing Ivf so this should be fun she wants to help out cooking and cleaning so I’m not complaining 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 xx

graygoose · 24/04/2023 17:17

@MS2692 congratulations! I think anything above 150 is considered a positive so that’s very definitive! Agree with the other posters that everyone has different HCG levels so don’t compare, they’re usually more concerned that the levels double over 48 hours regardless of the number.

@MrsRandMrsR thats also a good high number! I honestly don’t know what the “normal” range is for 6 weeks as I only got 2 HCG tests in week 4 but they double every 48 hours and from what I remember of the indicative ranges they are huge, anything from the hundreds to the many thousands so there is no “right” number I think. That sounds like a great number for being 6+2 if you consider anything over 150 is a positive right after the 2ww. It would make sense to me to be a much higher figure by the time you get to 6 weeks. Congratulations!

Zus · 24/04/2023 17:27

@Bookiebooboo Hey Hun, yes of course I will definitely keep you updated. Hope all goes well on Thursday.

Oh that's good to keep the news with you until you get your BFP. Good someone is helping you so you can relax. Yea, take it easy and enjoy X I wish you all the very best and I'll be thinking of you on Friday. The wait is never ending hahaha 🤣

laurapop · 24/04/2023 19:39

@MS2692 @MrsRandMrsR congrats those numbers are really high!! Maybe you're having twins 🤣.

Mine was only 50 but that was on 9dpt and in the morning when my transfer was in the afternoon. They were happy with it even though I know it sounds really low 🙈

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 19:43

@laurapop 50 is the exact number my clinic told me today that they would expect to see today (13dp!) so I think that’s a great number! Xxx

laurapop · 24/04/2023 20:01

@MS2692 thank you ☺️. I'd read in a few places anything over 50 is normal so that's reassuring. I'd be interested to know what it is now. It's so difficult not knowing what's going on 🙈 xx

MS2692 · 24/04/2023 20:07

@laurapop I know exactly what you mean when they said today that’s it now until 7wk scan on 17th May I was lost like oh 😂 3 weeks seems like a long time to just wait and hope all goes well 😬xx

laurapop · 25/04/2023 06:57

@MS2692 I know 😬. Mine is 2 weeks today.. feels ages away. I'm thinking of booking one for Sunday when I'll be 6+2. See how I feel if I can wait when it gets to it xx

NorthernDuckling · 25/04/2023 07:25

hi everyone, congratulations on all the recent positive results. @Bookiebooboo good luck with your transfer.
I think everything is going well here, been a bit nauseous and not had any spotting. We’re off on holiday for a fortnight from Thursday so busy packing, my scan is when we get back so I’ll be 8 and a bit weeks. I’m actually glad the timings have worked like this because it’s been awful sat in the office feeling sick whilst I can just relax on holiday without worrying.
Is anyone else on heparin? I’ve got really bad bruising and running out of space below my tummy button, could do with speaking to the doc but not really got time before we go now. I’m on it for the whole pregnancy due to APS. 😭

laurapop · 25/04/2023 12:09

@NorthernDuckling that will be nice to get away! I'm similar to you, getting more nauseous by the day and I'm going away on the 11th May for a week. Scan before I go then when I get back i will be 9ish weeks. Its nice to break it up!

When is everyones due date? Mine is 22nd December xx

Jazsimone · 25/04/2023 13:42

Mine will be 31st December (I actually wanted a December baby, so planned treatment for mar/apr)
