Hello everyone, I thought I'd start a new thread because we filled the last one and lots of people are still in their TWW or waiting for transfers.

Unfortunately at my job people have to know.. I work in oncology so I handle cytotoxic drugs so I have to declare my pregnancy even if it isn't confirmed yet , to minimise my exposure to the chemotherapy drugs 😣 so yeah I had to tell them today that I can't do certain jobs anymore
They are very nice and supportive and we are 4 pregnant girls in the unit 😂

@countrypunk i don't know why I feel like certain numbers make me feel old I didnt feel old at 31 but 32 just feels older I think it's the even numbers 🤣🤣 well we just got back from Iceland in November and turkey and Cyprus in the summer and did paris last year too. So I won't mind if we don't go in feb.. I don't want to go especially in the first 12 weeks. We will defo go venice one day but for now it's on hold. Rather have the rest... tooo scared I think rest is so important right now. But his planning something in the UK which will be nice x

@AnnaPr1992 Oh yes, now I remember! How lush that you've got 3 pregnant buddies at work 😊 I'd love to have that.

@Frosty91 Woah, globetrotter! We've got a long weekend in the south of France in May. I was looking forward to eating steak and drinking wine. But now I'm just hoping that I'm still pregnant by then and couldn't give a toss about the steak and wine (and I love both of those things).

A UK break will definitely still be lovely x

@countrypunk oooooo South of France sounds amazing its nice to have things to look forward for😍 just take it easy and have a healthy diet and hopefully all will be good 💗x

my scan was 6w3d and there was no mistaking the heart beat so I really hope it’s the same for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Frosty91 sorry for butting in, hope you don’t mind! I’m off to Miami on Saturday for a week and wondering whether it’s silly or not in first trimester. Haven’t read about any negative impacts apart from feeling tired/sick anyway. Were you advised to cancel your trip?

@countrypunk i can completely understand just wanting to switch off from everything. I get caught up in scrolling all sorts and to be honest none of it helps!

Have many people told friends / family etc?? Mine knew about ivf, but we told them we froze everything so they don’t know we’ve had a transfer. Both excited and terrified to tell anyone!!

Any one else a bit of an exercise addict?!
I’ve really struggled in finding any decent info on exercise and IVF. The clinic were very strict when on stims (which I followed as no one wants a torsion!!) but then there is very little else so I find myself doing what feels right and hoping for the best.

My husband and I we decided to not go anywhere abroad while iam pregnant
Of course is a personal choice and as long as the doctors and midwives are happy with everything the flights are allowed but with precautions
Is just me iam very worried person in general so I want to play it safe and we have been waiting for this baby for ages so staying in the uk for 9 months won't cost us anything remember we spent 2 yrs indoors due to bloody covid
Also, England is beautiful during spring and summer so we will probably go for a week somewhere close to the beach but of course always close to a hospital 😂
I can't wait for the long walks on the beach with a big belly and taking loads and loads of pictures 🦋🤰🌈

Enjoy these 9 months are the most previous months of our lives and when the baby is here we can go all the holidays we want ♥️

Hi everyone. Its been lovely reading all your posts. First time posting on here. I am 7dpft today with our second 5day blast from our first cycle. First fresh transfer wasn't successful unfortunately 😪. We have our blood test on 13th but I want to test before. Last time we didn't, and it was horrible getting the bad news over the phone, would much prefer testing earlier this time round. trying to decide on the best day, don't want to test too early. thinking I might do day 9 or 10?

@runningismytherapy mine is next Friday 17th. I will be 6 weeks +1 I think it will show up as I had strong postive around 3dpt and hcg high qt 9dpt and 11dpt so fingers crossed 🤞 x

@Lucy5yearsttc oooo that sounds amazing miami 😍 it's a personal choice. I wouldn't travel that far I mean italy is what 2 hours away and I told my husband no. He had planned venice but I just feel the 12 weeks are so crucial and time to rest. Plus I think because in 2022 we did 4 countries I was okay not going in febuary. I just didn't feel comfortable. Sticking to the UK thus year. But I think its a choice with what you feel comfortable with I mean loads of people do still travel x

Did you have trigger injection? I didn't I started testing 3dpt and started getting postive. 9dpt sounds perfect defo use first reponse x

@AnnaPr1992 I agree. We have waited for this too so sacrificing 9 months won't harm. And yes bath, york, Cornwall so many beautiful places in UK. The lake district I could go on. That's why in our first 2 years of marriage we travelled alot. I know I would never travel while pregnant its a risk. And I just really want this to work. X

@Lucy5yearsttc doctors usually advise no in the first 12 weeks and after 36 weeks normally. In between that they normally say its okay x

With my husband we been married for 2yrs and we have done a lot of travelling but we haven't visited much the Uk - so now is time 🤰🌈🦋

Evening everyone,
Hope everyone is well.
I had some bloods run this afternoon at 11dp5dt. The beta HCG was 648. This means nothing to me. Can anyone offer reassurance that this is within range?
My progesterone has dropped also, which I'm concerned about. Hoping my clinic will agree to up the dosage to put my mind at ease!

@ali2021 that seems like a great number to me at 12DP5DT mine was 580. Are you going in to recheck in a couple of days to check that it’s doubling ? That’s what I had to do…..

do you know what your progesterone was ?

OK, phew. that's reassuring to know that it's ok.. thank you, @JuliaIVF83 ! I just go down a rabbit hole of trying to Google hcg levels etc.. I'm my own worst enemy 🤣 My progesterone was 38.9. However, last week it was 56, so I'm concerned about the drop. Maybe it's OK? This whole process is such a mindf**k!!

@ali2021 I don't think the number matters I heard what matters is if it increases in 48 hours it needs to double. Some people start with low but aslong as it's doubling. Mine at 9dpt was 400 and at 11dpt 920. They say it doesn't matter about number. If it doubles in 48 hours then its good x will you be going again in 48 hours x

Morning! Hope you are all okay!

5DPT here.. feels like a month ago I had the transfer 🤣

I've been having cramps but mainly on one side - did anyone else experience this? I also just generally feel achey/like a pulling sensation at the end of the day

@countrypunk Thank you 😊. I have called the clinic and am waiting for a call back, when I guess I’ll either leave it or make an appointment with my GP.
