Haven't seen a thread for February cycles so if anyone is waiting to start in the next few weeks and fancies some cycle buddies ❤️

Little about me, 34yo TCC #1. Low AFC/AMH. After two disastrous NHS cycles (NE Scotland) which resulted in no transfer, we went private and are away to start our second mild IVF cycle at Create in Manchester x

@LF82 thanks! I feel better today but movement always helps with bloating for me. The last round we did in 2021, I looked 6 months pregnant. This time thankfully I just look like I’ve had a large dinner 😁 Grateful it’s still winter as easier to hide with jumpers. Xxx

@Purplemichelle oh bless you, we had the egg collection back in June I do remember the bloat! Was the most uncomfortable part. Fair play for going to the gym, pretty sure I sat on the sofa all weekend 🤣 I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's update! Hope hubby is looking after you well!

@LF82 thats great! And a 5CC is still good in my eyes! We have a 4CC in the freezer still and I know people that have transfered 'poor' embryos that have been the ones that stuck! 🙏🏼

@VioletCookie thank you 😁 I haven’t been since last weekend as was advised not to during the later part of the stims. I was going 4-5 times a week so am going today as really helps lift my mood and is also a great distraction tool. Am being very well looked after despite the fact that he has now caught my cold that I had from Monday. He’s a good egg (excuse the pun).

Going to walk the dog this afternoon too, just need to fill my day rather than sitting around and thinking. This process is so very hard.

Hope you take some time for you today and are being looked after also. Emotional well-being is the key. Xxx

Had my day 10 scan on Friday and was told to continue meds over the weekend as I had around 14 eggs all over 10mm but needed a little bit more growth - back again tomorrow for a final scan then hopefully collection on Wednesday.

Feeling so bloated and uncomfortable now, the gas is awful and embarrassing! I'm just drained of energy so finding it hard to work (I'm a PT so energy is a must!) but hoping it won't be too much longer. If we manage to get some embryos they said we'd be looking at transfer next Monday.

@JustBePositive how are you getting on? Did you get an update on your embryos?

@West8690 oh blimey that sounds uncomfortable… My day 13 mine had started shoot up really quickly, day 10 I had 12’s and only 3 days later they were 20! I couldn’t believe it… I think once they get going they really go 😂 are you having another scan tomorrow?? Sounds like you’re very close to being ready… could you be off sick from work for a few days? You might need it?

no updated on my embryos which I don’t mind, and confident that out of 9 I’ll surely get at least 1… we had quite good fertilisation rate as well it seems. I’ve been Googling 😂 out of the 12 mature 10 fertilised which is more than I hoped so if odds are on my side I’m hoping for 3/4 that have made it.

Find out tomorrow and booked for a fresh transfer so I’ll report back asap!

Reading some of the stories from @Purplemichelle and @VioletCookie i think my EC was so much worse, that of my body just couldn’t cope because in agony for 2 days and definitely couldn’t face the gym, wish I could! But literally every step I took that small moment felt like my insides were ripping maybe I’m being dramatic?! Does everyone feel like that? 👀Much better today and slightly less bloated so think I’ve recovered well and hopefully tomorrow goes as planned xx

@JustBePositive good luck for tomorrow and that’s an amazing number of eggs 😁 I really think every cycle is different. My first one on EC was terrible. I’ve been lucky this time.

Feeling very anxious about day 3 update tomorrow. Only have 2 eggs so chances are severely reduced but hopefully the quality is good. Xxx

@Purplemichelle so good for the mind isn't it! We moved 18 months ago and haven't found a gym we like as much as our last, so have just been doing the odd class or badminton session. Keeping busy and distracted is the best way to get through this week! Absolutely everything crossed for both embryos to be making progress today 🙏🏼❤️ xx

@JustBePositive oh bless you that sounds awful! I had mild OHSS so was very uncomfortable but not as painfull as you've had! Keeping everything crossed for you today, best of luck xx

@JustBePositive @Purplemichelle @VioletCookie I think everyone feels different after EC. I was sore last time but back to exercise after a few days, it helped keep me sane I think!

I'm just back from my scan, they had some trouble seeing my left ovary because I've been a little constipated (TMI), so I've been and bought some Senakot.

From what she can see, it looks like I have about 7 dominant follicles that are 10-12mm, around 10 that are 7-10mm and several other little ones that aren't expected to do anything (I have PCOS so expected). There could be more hiding in the left behind the bowel but hopefully we'll have a better view on Wednesday. Seems like it's going slow but steady for me.
She did note that she would be surprised if I'm ready for EC on Friday and said it's more likely to be early next week - which I'm fine with, actually works out better haha!
So continue as normal until Wednesday.
