Haven't seen a thread for February cycles so if anyone is waiting to start in the next few weeks and fancies some cycle buddies ❤️

Little about me, 34yo TCC #1. Low AFC/AMH. After two disastrous NHS cycles (NE Scotland) which resulted in no transfer, we went private and are away to start our second mild IVF cycle at Create in Manchester x

@VioletCookie thsts what I am thinking too, am really hoping to have a transfer after my next round. So in June if all goes to plan. Just had the call from the embryologist and 3 of the 4 fertilised 🤞 Now to wait for the day 3 call on Saturday

am sure the spotting is normal but just mention to the doc when you are at the clinic this weekend so they know x

LF82 that's amazing news!! 🤞🤞🤞 Day 3. Thanks🙏 all for your messages of good luck .... Embryologist called this morn 1 of the 2 fertilized.... So better than last time 0/3 but obviously still only a very slim chance. Mixed emotions...but at least i know that I do have some good quality eggs left that can fertilise going forward .... Xxx

Getting ahead of myself...Has anyone been in the situation where they have only had 1 embryo and had to make a decision on a 3 or 5 day transfer? Seems to be conflicting evidence/ opinions. Thanks 🙏

@Carly05 just wanted to say hi as we were cycle buddies back in Jan! I had an awful first cycle that got cancelled 2 days before egg collection. I know your first cycle was not good either. I just had another cycle which went a lot better and had a transfer yesterday. Thinking of you and hope this cycle is loads better for you too xxx

@Carly05 someone in this thread had a day 3 transfer, there's been so many msgs though I'm struggling to remember who! 🙈 I'm certainly not medical but I think my mindset would be to transfer at 3 days and let nature run it's course, as surely the outcome will be the same but at least your embryo is inside of you! Xx

Hi Jupiteer good to hear from you. Yes I remember Ur cycle was cancelled.and I had nothing that fertilised.. Sounds like a much better outcome one for u this time ... That's gr8 news u have made it to transfer 😃👍 how many eggs did they collect ? I'm keeping everything crossed for u ❤️

Thanks violet cookie, lol yes there's soo many messages I can't keep up with who is where in their cycles 😄. Yes im thinking I will go with day 3 transfer if my one little embryo makes it! From everything iv read it looks like this may be a better option for older women with only 1 embryo. 🐣 X

Quick question...has anyone had quite a bit of brown blood after egg collection.. Its like the blood at the end of period... I had collection yesterday morning but still needing panty liner. ( Had no bleeding after first EC) Just concerned my womb lining wil be effected for transfer 😬

@Carly05 I can't 100% remember as my last collection was June, but I'm pretty sure I did and they said it was normal! I've also had brown spotting on the day of transfers, I think it's all the intrusion in your uturus and all the prodding! If you feel uneasy though call the clinic and they'll hopefully put your mind at ease. I called mine yesterday as I've noticed some spotting days before egg collection which they said was fine as its old blood/my period was very heavy last week. Let us know how you get on xx

LF82 how are Ur embryos developing?
My lone embryo made it to an 8 cell grade 2 today ... Decided to wait till day 5 to transfer ... Hope it makes it 🤞🤞🤞. I know only 1 in 3 make it to day 5 so I'm trying not to get excited... But just feels soo nice to have something that has fertilized after a terrible last cycle!! Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine 🌞🌞

@Carly05 so glad your embryo is progressing nicely! My 3 have all progressed well enough to hopefully try & make it go day 5. 🤞 for us both x

@Carly05 congratulations on your day 3 embyro, thats great! Are you going in tomorrow for a transfer all being well? Everything crossed for you, you so deserve this good news! We think EC will be Weds now. At the scan Friday my follicles hadn't really grown, so my Gonal F dose has been upped and collection moved back. There only seemed to be a few growing and mostly really tiny ones which is different from last time so I've been panicking! Next scan is tomorrow 🤞🏼 and yes sun has been helping my mood massively, I'm loving it! 😍 x

Sorry I've been a bit quiet, I've had to limit my time on this app this week because I'm really addicty around forum lurking and disappearing down googling holes, oh and now chat gpt 😂 , so yes just been looking after my mental health and have been trying not to drive myself mad in the post transfer wait.

Sooo I tested this morning and got a blazing positive. But I've been spotting a bit yesterday and today which is really anxiety provoking, though my dad is a doctor and he told me that spotting is a good sign of implantation and it does seem to be quite common in ivf.... I'm going to try and book a blood hcg test in for Tuesday/Wednesday at my clinic and then hopefully another one a few days later.... I'm just waiting to see what happens with it, I've been pregnant 3 times before and they didn't work out I'm feeling a bit guarded. Oh, and nauseous 🤢

@browneyedgirl626 oh my goodness, congratulations! However I think I get how you're feeling (also pregnant 3 times with 3 losses) and completely understand how on edge you must be. It's sad isn't it, to go through so much and then not be able to enjoy this moment in quite the same way! I really hope this works out for you and for that embaby to get all snug🤞🏼you totally deserve this happiness! I know your head is going to be up and down for the foreseeable, please let us know if you need a pick me up or are feeling low! But massive congratulations to you and your partner 💕 yes we're doing PGT-A testing, we can't go through another loss so we're throwing literally everything at this cycle! Xx

@LF82 @Carly05 thank you both! I'm so achy today, my stomach, back and chest are really sore! I'm also totally fed up of the jabs now. Inhixa is a little bugger 😅 our scan is 9:40 tomorrow (so up at 6 to get to London in time!) hoping for the best but so on edge. I'll be thinking of you both! I've never had a fresh transfer before so not sure how it works, do you know what time you'll be at the clinic or will they call you tomorrow? Xx

Browneyedgirl626 that's fantastic news congratulations. I really hope this time round things are different for you and you get the outcome you deserve after 3 attempts ❤️. IVF can be so cruel it gives you a glimmer of hope at every hurdle u clear and then brings you crashing down. What a emotional mind f*#k to know you are pregnant and then it doesn't progress ☹️ I'm keeping everything crossed for u.
VioletCookie good luck for Ur scan tomorrow 🤞 u have some nice big follicles. What clinic are u using in London... Do you live in London? We looked at the south London clinics then went with Complete in southampton
It will be my first T/F Tommorrow ( if the lone warrior has survived !!) Appointment booked for 10:30. 😬 bit nervous .... Is it any worse than a smear?? Also are there hints tips on things to do / avoid for the 2ww. Thinking of you Tommorrow LF82 xx

@VioletCookie thank you ❤️ yes it is very hard, I want to allow myself to feel good about the little wins along the way because it helps me to keep going, but I also want to shield myself from the hurt and disappointment, though I think those feelings are just inevitable regardless of whether you try to detach yourself or not.

What day of Stims are you on now? I hear you on the injections front, I've been doing two weeks of clexane and my stomach is battered! Thank god for high waisted everything 😂

And yes, I agree on the throwing everything at it strategy. The annoying thing about the fertility world is there always seems to be more things to investigate and test for. Which is why I ban myself from the internet 🙆🏻‍♀️
