Haven't seen a thread for February cycles so if anyone is waiting to start in the next few weeks and fancies some cycle buddies ❤️

Little about me, 34yo TCC #1. Low AFC/AMH. After two disastrous NHS cycles (NE Scotland) which resulted in no transfer, we went private and are away to start our second mild IVF cycle at Create in Manchester x

Morning everyone. First scan today and responding better than expected. Egg collection is likely to be Friday. Only 3 follicles as very low AMH, but you only need one! Xx

It’s a week today since I had the embryo transfer I’ve done a test this couple days ago to make sure the trigger injection was out and that was negative - done a test today and it’s a faint faint positive but comes up straight away! I’ve got some pinkish blood just now when I wipe am I best off contacting the clinic? Xxx

@THISISIT23 Hard to know...do you have any pain? Could it be implantation bleeding?

@TTCRose only pains when I take the progesterone apart from that no pains just mild twinges every now and again :/ not sure if could be implantation more thrown the fact the test has come back faint positive just going to wait it out couple days I think see what happens?

@THISISIT23 That all sounds positive. Try testing again in the morning. I’ve been naughty and tested every day since 3dp5dt.

@THISISIT23 i would leave it a couple of days to be sure. I really hope it’s a positive for you. I tested a lot on my last round and when the trigger left my system, it was negative every day after that so hoping it’s a good sign for you with the faint positive and light pink blood as that is a sign of the egg burrowing in.

My follicles are 9, 13 and 20 with a very tiny one of 2 on the other ovary. It took me 17 days of stimming last round to get these kind of numbers. Just hope the bigger one doesn’t over mature. The clinic have said no change to my meds today and to see them on Wednesday morning for a scan. It’s hard to judge but hope that Friday is collection day. Xx

Update from me- we had our day 5 call from the embryologist and 2 of our 4 embryos they said were top quality bastoclasts that are now in the freezer! They said the other 2 they wanted to leave until tomorrow to see if they will catch up- anyone had experience of day 6 embryos?? Not sure if I should be getting my hopes up or not!

That’s such good news that you have 2 in the freezer!!! No experience of day 6 embryos but the clinic must know what it’s doing. Are you doing a fresh transfer?

@Purplemichelle thank you! No we are doing a freeze all, my protocol with the clinic is 3 rounds of egg collection/growing embryos and then a transfer after the third. They said they have better success this way (better quality eggs) especially for my age (40) x

@LF82 that sounds interesting. My clinic have never mentioned this and I’m 41. Which cycle are you on at the moment? That’s a lot of injections!! Xx

@Purplemichelle I am with Create & doing mild ivf. Their ethos is very different from what I can tell to other clinics. There’s no down regulation (if that’s the right term) and then I took gonal f from day 2, they added in cetrocide on day 6 to stop me ovulating and then egg collection day 12 with trigger 36 hours before. I got 8 eggs, all were mature, 4 fertilised and the rest per my last message. I know it’s not loads of eggs/embryos but they go for quality over quantity x

@LF82 just had a look at their website. Very impressive. I’m already tied to this clinic due to the package we bought. Perhaps an option if this cycle doesn’t work, although I don’t think we have the funds or the emotional strength to do any more. Looking forward to hearing about your progress. Xx

We are! I'm cycle day 3 also. Gonna be injecting overleap 375!

@TTCRose I'm on 225 Ovaleap and 75 Meriofert, so two injections, then add in Fyremadel on Friday.
Have you got your first stims scanned booked? Mines next Monday ☺️

@Sj2505 Technically 2nd cycle but first with my partner.
1st Cycle was with a different partner few years ago which didn't pan out and unsuccessful cycle.

So no children, I'm known to have low AMH exact number not known in this cycle as they didn't retest. Know they doing different medication this time. Last time was on menopur. Had 2 eggs at collection and only 1 into day 3 transfer.

First scan today and seem to be responding much more positively to the Ovaleap/Menopur double act than just Ovaleap alone. 12 follicles and 10 of them are very similar sized (vs last cycle when I only had a handful and one was massive so they went got egg collection early and we only got 2 eggs. Fingers crossed that it all stays positive.
