Hi ladies

Just wondering if anyone is doing a cycle in November, looking for some cycle buddies.

I started stims yesterday, this is the 3rd cycle for us (2 NHS rounds where we didn't make it to transfer either time) and now we have signed up to a private a 3 cycle package with Create in Manchester. 3 egg collections and hopefully some embryo banking before and potential transfer. X

@Hopewishprayer wising you lots of luck and hope the TWW goes by very quickly for you x

countrypunk · 14/03/2023 18:02

@Hopewishprayer Raising my glass of appletiser to you and your little 4bb 💛 May it bed down and settle in for the long haul!

Hopewishprayer · 14/03/2023 18:03

@countrypunk @LF82 thank you so much xx

Jx3303 · 14/03/2023 18:19

@Hopewishprayer congratulations on being officially PUPO 💕 I hope the transfer went nice and smooth and a nurse held your hand. I am sending all the luck and love for a fast TWW with a very happy outcome 🤞🏻

I have my prolactin bloods back, and from what I can see I think they are normal 🙏🏻 I really hope so. I have passed them on to my patient coordinator for the Drs review, and I hope we can get the go ahead to go down next cycle! Xx

Crystal88 · 14/03/2023 19:56

@Hopewishprayer time to relax now and Take care of yourself

@Jx3303 thats good news, hopefully your cycle can begin again

LF82 · 14/03/2023 20:25

@Jx3303 thats fab news! So pleased for you x

Jx3303 · 14/03/2023 21:14

@Crystal88 @LF82 thank you ladies! Not quite getting my hopes up just yet until I've heard back from my patient coordinator but fingers crossed! Reading the email today gave me the same pounding heart as when the embryologist calls 🙈😂

Cat89 · 14/03/2023 22:09

@Hopewishprayer yayyy! 🎉🎉 Great news and fingers crossed for the 2WW! Don't worry about the grading, nobody who concieves naturally knows their grades and they wouldn't transfer if it couldn't work. Sending positive vibes 😘

@countrypunk hopefully nature will take it's course. Sorry to hear other half might have to travel what crappy timing. Make sure you have lots of video chat!

@Jx3303 that's looking positive, fingers crossed you can go ahead with next cycle. You've waited long enough and been so patient!

Hopewishprayer · 15/03/2023 07:37

Thanks everyone!!

@Jx3303 great news! Hopefully you can get started again really soon x

Foreverhoping33 · 15/03/2023 08:07

Sorry I have been so quiet the email notifications started going to my junk email so I thought no one had responded to my last message. Finally found them yesterday and was lovely reading all your messages. This is such a tough journey and we are all absolute warriors for going through it!!

@countrypunk i am so so sorry to hear your news, was so hoping this was the one for you. I totally understand about wanting your body to feel like your own. I waited about 10 days from my second scan and nothing was happening so in the end went for the operation which I would actually really recommend. Hope you are looking after yourself and giving lots of time to just cry. Sending so much love at this truest horrible time. Xxxxxx

@Hopewishprayer congratulations on being PUPO!!!! I will keep my fingers crossed that this is the one! Hoping the tww isn’t too long for you! Xxx

countrypunk · 16/03/2023 10:36

@Jx3303 That's great news 💕 Hope you can get cracking on the next cycle soonest.

@Foreverhoping33 Thank you. I feel a bit broken this week. Surgery is booked for Saturday. I just hope it will be the end of this entire saga and there are no complications. I can't believe it's only been 3.5 weeks since my 7 week scan at the clinic... it feels like years. How are you doing? Xx

Jx3303 · 16/03/2023 19:20

@countrypunk thank you lovely, would have liked a definitive answer when I'd sent the results but my patient coordinator said the Dr said they are ok, but I still have to have my call next week, so will see what he says x

I'm so sorry you're having a difficult week 😞 it has been a been a really tough and I'm sure long few weeks for you. I hope you are looking after yourself ❤️ xxx

Foreverhoping33 · 16/03/2023 22:04

@countrypunk I’m sorry you are feeling broken this week. It is so tough and there isn’t anything I can say to make it better. But know that you are so strong and doing amazingly! Not everyone could go through this journey, but we are!!

I am actually doing better thanks. Have allowed myself to cry lots about nothing in particular but also everything at once if you get me. My husband I’m sure thinks I’m an emotional wreck but it’s definitely helped haha.

it’s my twins due date today but no baby as of yet. But I’m back to being excited for the arrival of my new nephew and hope he shows his face before sunday!

im hoping to do a transfer next month now but unfortunately the doctors have recommended it be medicated so I’m going to go back onto the injections.

@Jx3303 so glad your results looked normal. Hoping your call next week goes well!! Do you know if this means you could try for the next ivf round on your next cycle then? Or will you leave it a bit more?

xxxxxx

countrypunk · 17/03/2023 13:51

@Jx3303 I'm feeling a bit better today. I've been cuddling the dog loads. Not sure she's entirely into it but it's helping me! Good luck for your call next week. Xx

@Foreverhoping33 Thank you, your message means a lot.

Crying is good, it's such a release.

If this is your first nibling, congratulations on becoming an auntie 💕 I hope you get lots of cuddles with him. I'm sure it's been very emotional, for all sorts of reasons. Xx

Jx3303 · 17/03/2023 14:02

@countrypunk aw I am so glad to hear it, I have been known to sit on the kitchen floor hugging the dog and crying. I am sure she's definitely up for comforting you ❤️ having animals when going through this are such a god send. I adore ours and they've gotten me through some very bad times.

@Foreverhoping33 I am a believer in crying is good too - better out than trying to hold them in. I'm so glad you're feeling better too. And that's lovely that the excited feeling to meet your new nephew is there 💙 I hope he arrives safely very soon!

I am really really hoping that this call will confirm I can go next cycle, AF is due around the end of the month so all going well I'd go down to Manchester cycle day 4 before a scan day 5 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I am very keen to get going again! I wish they'd just been able to give me the go ahead but the Dr wanted me to keep the call I'd booked to review. Xx

Dianaau · 18/03/2023 05:48

Hi,
I want to ask if anyone have had a successful story if multiple ivf failed because of embryos not growing.
I am 41 and I have tried 3 ivf, first one had 4 embryos but just one made it to 10 cells at day 4, the other Ivf were straight after endometriosis laparoscopy for which I was not aware to be impacted as and the results were very poor with just one embryo the first one and the second one had 3 embryos and all arrested very early 2-4 cells.
I was able to get pregnant naturally 2.5 years ago but I got very early miscarriages.
Is there anyone with similar story and a positive outcome in the end?

Jx3303 · 18/03/2023 08:48

@countrypunk thinking of you today lovely 💕 I hope it all goes smoothly and you are home tucked up in bed before you know it xxx

Crystal88 · 18/03/2023 11:40

@countrypunk hope today goes ok xx

countrypunk · 20/03/2023 16:06

Thanks everyone. It went smoothly and I was very well looked after by everyone I came into contact with.

Hope everyone else on the thread is OK. Xx

LF82 · 20/03/2023 16:14

@countrypunk hope you are doing as well as you can & that you are taking time to look after yourself. Thinking of you x

countrypunk · 20/03/2023 16:49

@LF82 💛

Foreverhoping33 · 20/03/2023 16:59

@@countrypunk glad to hear your procedure went well and that you are being looked after. Do you have a couple of days off or are you at work? (I actually went straight back to work as I found distractions helped). Thinking of you lots.

My new nephew arrived on Friday which is nice. He is actually my 5th nibling! But only 2nd since we started trying. Both since have been difficult to handle but also super lovely at the same time. This one in particular as it’s my twins baby 🥰. I guess it helps to reconfirm that I really do want a baby and that all this pain will be worth it in the end.

My period is expected on Thursday then going to try for a transfer again though this time medicated to help my lining. 🤞it goes better this time.

@Hopewishprayer how is your tww going? 🤞🤞🤞🤞

xx

countrypunk · 20/03/2023 17:52

@Foreverhoping33 Oh congratulations! I can totally understand how difficult this must have been, particularly as it's your twin's baby. But you sound happy which is lovely ♥️

The surgeon signed me off for two weeks after saying I wouldn't need a sick note at all for the week I was planning to take. Not sure why she did that - I cried quite a lot as they were putting me under, so maybe because of that!

I actually feel noticeably better mentally today than I did yesterday. Quite a bit of cramping today but not too bad.

Hope your period arrives on time. Xx

@Hopewishprayer Another one hoping all going well with the TWW x

Hopewishprayer · 20/03/2023 17:54

@Foreverhoping33 congrats on becoming an auntie again! Hopefully not long until you can get started 🤞🏻
2WW is actually going REALLY quickly! It’s on my mind 24/7 but managing to keep busy. I took a different approach this time and making a conscious effort to be positive- so much so that I think I’ve actually convinced myself I will see that 2nd line 🙈 😂

Foreverhoping33 · 20/03/2023 18:02

@countrypunk yes I was the same crying when they put me under. But I definitely felt like getting the procedure done helped me turn a corner a bit, and hopefully it is for you too. Two weeks off sounds great- can properly look after yourself!!

@Hopewishprayer oh great that it’s going quickly!! And I love the positive attitude keep it up 😊😊😊. I was told the body follows the mind so I am sure it is helping! Keeping everything crossed for you. 😘. Xxxx
