I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

Thank you @hopefullsosbry. OTD isnt until 25th, but cant help feeling i should have seen something by now. Even just a very faint line. Its 6dp5dt tpday.

Does anyone know, what would be the reason a positive could go to a negative in the 2ww?

@Thelotusflower I'm sure everyone's levels of hormones change at different times so don't give up hope ❤️

I always assumed I would find out early as on my little girl I had found out at around 2.5 weeks and had horrendous nausea for a week before that so was very very early.

@MammyandAva my last transfer I had a line but just faint .. it never got any darker .. when I got my beta blood test my hcg level was only 14.. and the line when to a negative a few days later , with a confirmed blood test of negative .. they didn’t give a reason .. they just said anything lower than 30 HCG by 14 days after transferring had 90% of not making it .. my period came a few days after .. so it was like it tried to imbed but then just came away again .. you prob will never know the reason as to why - but it’s usually chromosome abnormalities is what they say .. hopefully your line will stay strong though.. best of luck. 💕

How's everyone feeling?

I've tested (again) this morning and the line hasn't got darker (if anything I'd say maybe
Slightly lighter) so I'm unsure whether it's progressing.

Did anyone else's test remain the same over a few days please?

Quick update- 7dp5dt- still negative.

@MammyandAva sorry to hear that. Never experienced a positive line myself so im not sure. But pray that it keeps progressing.

I've just done another test (out of curiosity) and it's darker, so I don't have a clue what's going on 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m assuming SMU works better for me 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@MammyandAva it def looks darker to me!! What you need to remember is that hcg is so small at this point even if it does go up it really will be minimal! I really made myself ill when I tested 5dp5dt and 7dp5dt and it wasn't much darker at all. I'd just want a few days now if you can as it will make you so anxious comparing the lines! Or even better get a blood test at 8dp5dt like I did if your clinic offer it.

Did you notify your clinic that you had tested early and had a positive?

@Thelotusflower I'm sorry you're still testing negative - there is still time though! Try to stay positive and hopefully your BFP will arrive in the next few days 🤞🏾

@MammyandAva I'm definitely seeing a line progression since yesterday in your tests 👍🏾 This is the downside of testing early, the daily tests and obsessing over how they compare to the day before, I am doing the same!

@MammyandAva it is I'm 10w and still terrified! Yes I did and they rate happy to do bloods at 8dp5dt, 10dp5dt and 12dp5dt.

Also it takes about 48 hours for HcG to double … so waiting at lest a couple days in between testing may help with seeing if line is any darker? Best of luck all !

My clinic just gave me a courtesy call to check how i am. Theyvhace tried to reassure me that it is too early for the hormones to be high enough to be detected and dont give up hope until test date- it just seems soo far away 😬

@NorthernDuckling Thinking of you. I know you had lots going on. Dont feel like you have to come back on, but letting you know we are here if needed. You've always had a such a positive attitude, hope you are ok.

@hopefullsosbry 8t has been really good to listen to your advice and experiences/support. Its not always easy to stay on a group if you have not beem able to progress.

@NS05 10 weeks wow. Hope you are able to enjoy it in between the worry.

@NS05 I have just emailed my clinic to see if they can do bloods earlier than Thursday as I know they close Friday for Christmas so won't be able to get them repeated until after new year

Yes good idea @MammyandAva then at least you can relax over the Christmas break if numbers have doubled which I'm sure they will ❤️

Fingers crossed @MammyandAva that they fit you in earlier and you see the doubling of numbers that you need.

@Thelotusflower thanks for your message, I have actually had a cold and been feeling a bit sorry for myself. I had my review appointment last week, they are going to check my progesterone levels and put me on injections if I’m not absorbing the pessaries.
waiting for the clinic to call to book in my nurse appointment for the FET, otherwise not much happening here.
fingers crossed you get a positive but it is still very early.

@NorthernDuckling I hope you get that call soon regarding your FET and are able to relax over Christmas as much as you can.

@NS05 I have managed to get them to do my bloods today and then again on Thursday and they close Friday for Christmas so have them at 12pm 🙏

I have tested again this morning (I can't seem to help myself at this point) 🫣 and the line is visibly darker 🤞🏼
