I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

Just out of curiosity, do you know what level my HCG should be (roughly) at this point please?

@MammyandAva mine was around 100 8dp5dt and then I think around 300 2 days later! I don't think it matters what the starting number is as long as it doubles! Good luck and keep us posted! X

I've just got back from the clinic now, they hadn't told me that they are closed Friday so Thursdays blood test results won't be given until 28th December 🤦🏻‍♀️

But I'll have todays results tomorrow 🤞🏼

@Nat4819 Thank you. So 9dp5dt today. Still negative everyday. And there was bright red blood today. Maybe a little more than spotting. Just wait and see what that turns into. I guess i will know by tonight or tomorrow if im definitely out, if it turns into a full blown period. Seems a little late for implantation bleed but who knows.

@NS05 I have just had the call and at 7dp5dt my level is 78 - I can't see anything at all online to find out whether that's good

@MammyandAva I think that's really good! I checked and mine were 170 8dp5dt and they told me that was very high and they expected it to be 100 at that point so 78 seems perfect the day before as would prob be around 110 today (50 percent up which is roughly what should happen each day). The main thing is that they double every 48 hours so hopefully 160 by tomorrow 🙏

@NS05 thank you! The clinic just said it's within range although she Initially thought I was 10dpt 🤦🏻‍♀️

They've said that they will try and get the results for tomorrows bloods done as urgent but if it's not possible it'll be the 28th 😭 what a nightmare

I'm doing ok, thanks for asking - I've been hit hard by pregnancy fatigue so I can't make it through the day at the moment without taking at least one nap, not sure how that's going to work when I go back to work! My clinic don't do bloods until you hit 14dp5dt so I'm scheduled to have my blood test next week.

Aw, hope the fatigue settles a little @Nat4819 . It can be tough.

So it looks like im headed into full flow territory amd accompanying back ache to go with it. Im sure the rest of the cramping etc will follow in the next few hours.

My clinic had said that even if we have a bleed, to continue medications until test dat and test again before stopping anything.

I cant see how it can come back from here- but dont want to quite write BFN- seems so final. So i guess I will wait a few days before writing that.

I tested every day, so I know there was zero implantation again, so not sure what we will do next.

Thanks for all the support on here. Always good to be able to update everyone anonymously and yet peopke who are rooting for you.

I still have that pressure/twinges in the same place where i thought implantation must be happening. So im just so confused right now. But i guess time will tell. Im sure as the bleed progresses,the pressure will disappear as the embryos come away? Dont know how it works.

Ive informed my clinic. They've said i need to continue medication until Christams Eve- then confirm with a negative test. So Christmas Eve will be the day I can have closure.

I have just got back from my blood tests and I have started bleeding 😭😭

@Thelotusflower I'm so sorry to hear this, this process really can be so unbelievably cruel. All here whenever you need a rant or to talk

@MammyandAva oh no is it fresh blood or spotting? Try not to panic as it doesn't always mean bad news. Xx

@NS05 it's pink/red and is mainly when I wipe.

I can't stop crying I just feel awful 😢

@MammyandAva it must be so scary but I know people that have had bleeds and been ok, it could be something like a sub chronic heamatoma. I would just call your clinic and see what they advise and then just rest and drink lots of water. So sorry you are going through this 😭
