I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

It says there around day 6 hcg should begin to be produced , everyone is prob a slightly diff as I know sone got positives at 5dp ?! Hope this helps xxx

Yes def use frer! I had the faintest ever line at 5dp5dt afternoon on a frer so don't think it would've shown at 4 days! Mine was also a hatching blastocyst so would be faster!

I can't actually think of anything other than my transfer now 😞 I'm trying to work and still researching every little twinge.

At day 4dp5dt should I feel different?

I'm not sure whether the tugging pains are from the pessaries but I didn't have them before transfer.

I'd say this is the hardest part of my journey so far.

@MammyandAva it really is the hardest part in so many ways. However, I do feel that every other time it has been really hard waiting, but testing every day for me, means that I only count one day at a time, so actually it has made it easier.

Thanks @hopefullsosbry Ive seen that too- it is really good to know the stages. Thanks- definitely helps to be reminded that it is more lijely on day 6! @NS05 and @hopefullsosbry , I guess i was hoping i might find out sooner as some people do! But not long now.

The 1st symptom I had was a sore back day 3 it started .. then sore boobs .. on day 4 .. everyone one is diff though, I had mild lower pelvic cramps (my period cramps feel higher in tummy ) by day 5 .. yes I am sad I kept a note of my symptoms this time round, what I was feeling and when .. as this was our 4 th transfer I wanted to compare with if we had another .. good luck xxxx💖

Thank you for sharing @hopefullsosbry . Ive done the same. Im writing my symptoms done. Mainly just from day 2 ive had twinges in the same placr and brown discharge. Nothing else.

And ive just gone out and bought 3 First Responses! Cant wait for the morning so i can test, although as that document said, usually HCG is secreted on day 6, but who knowd, it may be an early implanter as one of them was already haching when transferred.

I have caved and use the test I was provided by the clinic (one step) and now wish I hadn't because it's negative 😞

Should I take this as it hasn't worked or is it still too early to make any assumptions?

So I tested this morning and got a faint but definitely there BFP!!! I can't quite believe it - I know there are still so many hurdles to get through (even just making it to the end of the 2ww still testing positive) but will still be taking a moment to celebrate 🤗

@MammyandAva Are you 4dp5dt? That is super early to test, I don't think many people get a positive at that stage so I wouldn't worry. Even 5dp5dt is still really early, some women don't test positive until much later in the 2ww so please don't count yourself out yet ☘️☘️

My transfer was Tuesday so I believe I'm 5dp5dt? Or have I worked it out wrong?

@MammyandAva no way wasn't your transfer Tuesday? 4 days is way too early def wait until at least Tuesday if you can and try again! Don't be disheartened most people don't see anything until at least 7dp5dt!

@NS05 I've worked it out wrong then... I thought I was 5dp5dt today 🤦🏻‍♀️

@MammyandAva Thank you!!!! 🤗 My understanding is that the day of the transfer counts as day 0, so I think you would be 4dp5dt. I have my transfer the day before you so for me I'm counting today as 5dpdt.

@Nat4819 ohhh silly me! That actually makes me feel slightly better

I've also read up on the accuracy of the one step tests early on and their not as good as first response so I've ordered some of those.

@MammyandAva First response tests are the ones I've seen recommended throughout different fertility forums so would definitely recommend using those to test early, that's the brand I've used. Aside from feeling very shocked I'm feeling ok! I had some mild cramps on day 1, then didn't really have any symptoms until last night when I started having a few mild cramps again.

@MammyandAva ,Yes you are a day behind us, so 4dp5dt, so defo early. Even 5 daya is early for most people. So keep trying!

So I was so excited to try my First Response ones, that i tried last night (negative)

Havent tried this morning yet as up most the night with a sore throat plus sleeplessness from steroids and been drinking lots of water. Want to now wait a while so my urine wont be so diluted and try then. Still feel like i might have to wait another day or so, but going to gice it a go anyway.

So I tested late last night and there was a very faint line and this mornings is the same 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I tested again this morning- 6dp5dt- still negative. Its starting to become a very very long week.

Im on medication to bring my immune system down too, so have been pretty unwell over the weekend too. Just need this part to be over now.
