I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

@CR7 the blood test could show something fingers crossed.

Thoughts to everyone who didn’t get the outcome they hoped for, been there more than a few times and it’s horrible, be kind to yourself💞

I'm gonna contact the clinic tomorrow to see if we can go private and use our frozen embryo, as the fresh one was done on nhs

I have (finally) got my first scan tomorrow to see how stimming is getting on. So hopefully one step closer.

I've got my next scan on Wednesday, if they are happy with the lining then they will confirm the date for my transfer which I believe would be one day early next week 🤞🏾

So as for me..... Last i heard, I had 3 follicles, they were very small and i was told there is a chance of having to cancel the cycle if i dont respond to medication.

I went today.....they found 17 follicles! Shocked, at my age and after what they told me.

So now just hoping they are of quality.

A few more scans and then hopefully EC next week.

Feel positive, but at the same time, I know there are no guarantees.

That’s an amazing number of follicles, I had less than that and haven’t got low reserves. Fingers crossed you get loads of eggs from them. Hopefully the long protocol has paid off (although I’m still not fully sure of all the differences).
