I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

@SarahJane10 as sad as it sounds nothing, my only drink these days is water

I have my test on Monday .. two more full days to get through 🤞🏽

Green tea is good, that’s what I usually drink, but that does still contain caffeine so I just drink plain hot water, I think ginger tea can be ok ? That may help with sickness .. if we are lucky enough to get that far down the line 😊🤞🏽

Thank you I have only been having 1 cup of decaf in the morning then drinking water

@SarahJane10 not tested , I am just waiting till the day , boobs have gotten a bit fuller, not getting cramps so much now so who knows .. will just have to wait and see 🤞🏽When’s your test date? Good luck with it when it comes xx

@SarahJane10 its so hard huh, hope you can try stay positive, only 4 more days for you to wait, you never know sone people don’t have symptoms at all .. fingers crossed for you ☺️

I'd like too but I don't want too. It's a hard thing. Just hope I get a sign that all is good. How'd you know your boobs feel fuller has anything changed? xx

Just fell bigger /fuller ..could be AF due though so it’s really hard to pin point .. 😵‍💫

How soon after your transfer did symptoms start.? I only had a few cramps/period pain, and what felt like a stitch too, Boobs have felt itchy but all gone now. Fingers crossed for Monday for you.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a couple of days, been really busy at work and nothing has really changed. Still got no symptoms, not sure if that’s good or not.
Ive still been drinking tea (2-3 cups a day rather than the 8-10 I usually have) my clinic gave me a fact sheet on what I could eat/drink and 3 cups of tea was fine. I’ve also started having a horlicks at night which doesn’t have any caffeine in.
test day is still a week away which seems crazy because we all had our transfers on the same day.

Nice to have back. My clinic No to tea as have more caffeine in than coffee. So they told me 1 cup of decaf. The sheet they have said to test 2 weeks after my egg retrieval. Dunno whether to wait another week? x

Anyone gonna be testing this week that transferred last Saturday?

@SarahJane10 I’m set to test on Friday but not sure I’ll make it that far. I’ve been having a lot of cramps on and off all day and got the heavy feeling I get before my period starts. Had a bit of discharge as well so I’m a lot less positive that I was.

how is everyone else doing, have you got any symptoms? I’ve been madly google g but cramps after ET are common and good news there isn’t much info on cramps later on.

Have just started my medicated FET cycle, if all goes well transfer will happen early Dec.

I’m now 6dp5dt and have been feeling a bit nauseous every now and then and eating a lot. The other thing I’ve noticed my heartbeat really thumping sometimes.
it could just well be all the progesterone though because I’m on 3 lots a day. I want to be hopeful but I’m also in self protection mode a little as I had a bit of a rollercoaster on my last ivf cycle where I tested negative on my test date, positive 2 days later to then have dropping betas the next week and was told I’d miscarry. Never happened and had an ectopic found at week 9 as I was still getting positive tests. So I keep trying to remind myself to take each step as it comes. Not easy though when all I want to do is a test! Luckily none in the house so that’s keeping me disciplined otherwise I probably would have cracked.
