I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

How's everyone feeling from their Saturday embaby transfer?

Sorry, been a bit MIA the last few days so I've missed a lot of this thread.
I'm trying to stay positive but I don't feel any different yet and have a feeling it's not going to work.

We didn't get any to freeze, so it'll be back to a full cycle if this one doesn't work.

How are you feeing?

@NorthernDuckling oh sorry am not familiar with that one, am sure a quick Google search may show you how quick it comes out your system?

@nizo1245 I keep getting slight cramps every now and then, as well feeling tired. Could be the progesterone though. So not sure what to think. Just wondering if the embryo has implanted yet

I only had my transfer on Monday but nothing to write home about symptom wise from my side. A bit of cramping every now and then but nothing significant. Eating a lot but I think that’s that could just be because of the progesterone!

This is quite a good reference I found, implantation should complete around day 4/5 .. I have had some mild pelvic cramps also .. 🤞🏽 Fingers crossed for all 😁

That's great. Where did you find that. So will I will probs test on Saturday

Just to say I had no symptoms and still have nothing other than tiredness. I had leg cramps the day after transfer for like 5 mins but who knows if that was even related and have had a few cramps in my lower abdomen here and there but really nothing significant! So def don't be disheartened by no symptoms!

its from some fertility clinic I found online .. I have used to the last 3 transfers and I feel it help the two week wait as it breaks it down daily to what should be happening instead of just wondering what’s going on in there no lol 😂

@NS05 how far on are you if you don’t mind me asking ? What was your beta result ? Thanks 😊

Ahh. My boobs are feeling a bit weird dunno how to describe it other than itchy. This started a few hours ago but maybe longer

Now just waiting for 7 week scan, very anxious as barely any symptoms but with my son I hardly had any either.

be so anxious but am sure all is fine. @SarahJane10 I have had a few twinges in my nipples /boobs and they feel a bit fuller but that could just be AF also I think as it’s not really that tender just a few twinges .. it’s so hard to tell when every symptom is the same as AF coming anyways 😵‍💫 I will be due AF Sunday and my beta is Monday .. ahhh ! What will be will be I guess .. 🤞🏽

Sorry to sound a bit rude but anyone got wind ? Or discharge ? When I was last preg I couldn’t stop breaking wind .. and had quite a lot of discharge, don’t have that at all 🤨

So glad to see everyone's doing well.

I had my EC today and the final count was 23 so definitely doing a freeze all and then will have to wait until Jan/Feb for transfer 😭

I underestimated that pain/discomfort afterwards, to the point I can barely stand straight, did anyone experience this?

@nizo1245 Im so sorry you are feeling like this. Thinking of you and hoping that it turns into a postive for you. There is still hope. You just never know. Anything is possible I guess.

Hi @MammyandAva I had 30 retrieved (20 mature) a few years ago and was in a lot of pain and really swollen! Just relax as much as you can and it will pass. Out of that I got 9 blastocysts so fingers crossed for you- that is an AMAZING amount of eggs!

@MammyandAva 23 eggs is amazing. sorry you feel unwell and have to delay treatment, but it will be worth it in the end.

Congratulations @MammyandAva that is amazing news on your collection but I can imagine that is very painful. I hope you can rest up for the next few days.
