I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

I rested the rest of Saturday and Sunday after my transfer. I went back to work today and have another member of staff with me

Did anyone get menopausal symptoms during down regulation (im using buserelin) not that i have, but i read it as a possible side effect. Wondering if anyone felt anything. I feel fine physically (maybe a bit extra cold? Or is that the weather? My husband says its me)

@Thelotusflower Yes, I did. I had some hot flushes (but they stopped the day after I started ovaleap, my stims medication) and some trouble getting to sleep. I also felt absolutely exhausted and my mood swings were worse than my very worst PMT.

Just be kind to yourself and try and take it a little bit easy. I really did feel pretty much back to normal the day after I started stims. Although now I'm so bloated I can't do any trousers up 😆

Oh and @Thelotusflower I was also on buserelin!

Well - transfer day today! It will be a 5AB so pretty good quality (as long as the thaw goes ok!)

Fingers are crossed - timing has suddenly gone ropey as found out being made redundant - hopefully money will tide me through…

I had a call from the embryologist for the remaining 3, and only 1 has been frozen and been graded as 5AB. The other 2 didn't make it

@SarahJane10 that’s good news you have one for the freezer. I think I may be in a sort of similar position to you. I had 4 x embryos on Saturday. 1 x 4BB transferred yesterday and a call today to say 1 more has developed overnight to a 5AA. I’m pleased as I have low ovarian reserve and on my last cycle I only had 2 eggs and 1 embryo. So to get 2 embryos this cycle with one to freeze is good news.

Ive still not really got any symptoms, a few twinges but no spotting. Not feeling very positive about it all. 25/11 seems a long way off.

All done - a little bit painful but not too bad… they also took bloods to check my progesterone uptake - see what they say! Due to test on the 25th!

I'm due to test on 23rd but I might test either Saturday or Sunday

@SarahJane10 I have the same test date as you - 23rd. Trying to keep my diary busy for the weekend so I don’t get tempted.

Aw so exciting for everyone with embryos on board!! Wishing you all the best of luck and test day will come before you know it! My scan is 28th so anxiously waiting that now - hate the waiting!

My test date is 25/11 but I had a 5 day transfer so quite surprised, I might test on 22/11 as I have the day off.

@NorthernDuckling yes that is late, my clinic do 10dp5dt but you will definitely get something by even 7dp5dt! I got a very faint positive 5dp5dt (attached).

7dp5dt is DH birthday so don’t think I’ll test then (just incase it’s bad news) we’re also staying at PIL and they don’t know so I’d rather wait to Tuesday, Monday I’ll be at work (and probably unable to concentrate with either result) but on Tuesday if its negative I’ve at least got the day to myself.

@NorthernDuckling ah yes I forgot you have the trigger (mine was a fet both times) so yes def best to wait 10 days in that case so Tues sounds perfect!

If your trigger was ovitrelle , it’s got a half life of 48 hours .. so for example my FET was with natural cycle there but they gave me a jag of 65 dose of the ovitrelle just to help keep the lining of womb thick for 1st few days… so my levelled will be …

32.5 Saturday

16 Monday
8 Wednesday

@hopefullsosbry i triggered with gonasi, no idea of the dose and I’ve thrown the box out, we did 2 powders so looks like 10000 as they come as 5000 dosage.
