I can’t see a thread for anyone doing egg collection early November so thought I’d start one.
had my nurses appointment earlier this week to set out my plan with EC on 7/11 - eek. It’s my first NHS round (we were going to do it in April but I didn’t feel ready).
I was due to start period yesterday but it hasn’t happened and hoping it starts today, the clinic said there was some wiggle room but not much. Why is it I can usually predict it to the hour and when you need it to start it doesn’t 🤯
I would love to chat to anyone else with EC early Nov as DH is already fed up of me talking about it - it’s going to be a long 6 weeks!

Aw so exciting @NorthernDuckling @SarahJane10 @nizo1245!! Hoping these babies stick!! I actually was naughty and tested 5dp5dt and got a positive but it prob is better to wait until your test day! Just rest up and relax!

Did you test for a few days after transfer or go back to work? I'm hoping my little 'Munchkin' sticks and gets comfy

Yes @SarahJane10 I had my transfer Friday and pretty much stayed in bed fri and sat. I had a hatching blast so my doctor told me it would implant Fri or sat. I had weird leg cramps all sat night up and down my things so thought something weird was happening. Then Sunday I still took it easy but did go to lunch with friends. Monday I was back to normal! Who knows if it helped but can't hurt to stay relaxed.

I’ve just had a call from the clinic, one of the 3 that were further behind and not suitable for freezing yesterday has progressed enough to freeze so I have 3 in the freezer and the one that was put back yesterday. So pleased with the results, of the 7 fertilised over half have made it to blast stage.

Hi all, when do you think you will test /start testing ? I told myself I wouldn’t bother and just wait for beta (on 21st) but am thinking I might do one on Tuesday morning as I’ll be 5dp5dt at that point, I keep feeling some very small twinges and a ‘warm’ feeling in my womb area.. but have had this feeling with the last 3 transfers in the few days after transfer but then it disappears .. not sure if it’s the effects of the ovitrelle jag, prob will be .. ?! I think I’ll be tempted to test day 5 /7/9 to see if there is a line ?!

I had my transfer yesterday an since then my stomach has been/ felt bloated.

Has anyone got any symptoms for their egg transfer from Saturday?
Or when to expect symptoms

Had mine on Wednesday, my symptoms so far are bloating and slight cramps only.

Im meant to go back to work tomorrow, but im stressing out about it, i should be fine going to work from day 7 right

Can I ask when did they start?

had my transfer this morning, 1 4bb blastocyst. Potentially got 1 more to freeze but won’t know until tomorrow. Other 2 embryos didn’t make it.

now the waiting game begins! 😱

Hello all, I'm joining 🙂

This is my first round of IVF (we're actually having ICSI). I've been on buserelin (gruelling) and ovaleap and my egg collection is on Wednesday morning, which means transfer a week today if everything goes well. 9 plump follicles on my right and 4 on my left, which I think isn't bad for my age, but I guess it doesn't really mean anything until the eggs are collected and fertilised.

Cramps started from next day, bloating from yesterday.

@Hanoon I went back to work today, had ET on Saturday (under sedation), couldn’t have worked yesterday - but then wasn’t “allowed to” but was absolutely fine today and it was a nice distraction.

my bloating has gone down, I’ve been drinking lots of water (probably about 3+ litres a day) and eating a lot of fibre (porridge and prunes).
I was pretty tired yesterday, had about 14 hours sleep last night, fine today so probably just needed to sleep off anaesthetic.

No bleeding, a tiny bit of cramping but nothing like when AF is due. Hopefully my lack of symptoms is good news not bad. I’m just going to try to concentrate on work and not think about testing, I’m quite good at putting things out of my mind but I’m sure I won’t sleep the night before I have to test.

@NorthernDuckling happy you are feeling better. I will distract myself starting tomorrow then! but the first round i treated myself like normal and ended up with a negative so being extra this time haha!

Thank you @NorthernDuckling and agree on the distraction. I’m back to work tomorrow which is good as even though I rested after my transfer today I’m not sure that’s been particularly great for my wandering mind!

Thanks @Thelotusflower I've caught up with the thread now and seen that you're on long protocol (same as me) and down regging. Hope you're not finding it too tough going. I had some explosions of emotion 😁 but as soon as I started the stims I felt so much better.
