FET in September/October

I’m preparing to start my treatment cycle in a month or so and thought it might be helpful to start up a thread for anyone heading for FET soon.

This will be my first FET so I’m nervous but also feeling hopeful having gone through a fair amount of testing and treatment. Think I’m about as prepared as I’ll ever be!

Current cycle finally got going two days ago after a bit of a delay and I’ve decided to use it to focus on eating well and getting into the right headspace.

Anyone at a similar stage and want some company?

The email does say in a roundabout way that the transfer will go ahead but it doesn’t read very clearly to me and left room for misinterpretation. I’m clearly very tired and needed the capital letters IT WILL GO AHEAD 😂🙃

So I finally tested this morning at 10dpt and got a BFP!!!!!!

a much darker line than last transfer so just praying everything is ok. I don’t think I can go through what happened last time again!!

had my hcg bloods this morning so just waiting on a call back!! If they’re ok then I won’t have any more visits until scan at 6-7wks. I’m currently in a state of panic and anxiety!

I also got my BFP this morning but my line is not very strong….. currently waiting on BCG results to see if I can get excited….. so nervous it is going to end in a chemical!

Congratulations @Hopeful199 I’d say that’s a pretty strong line!! When I had my issues last transfer my line was barely visible at this stage! Fingers crossed all ok for you!!

my hcg came back at 243 so I’ve been booked for a scan on 17th!!

Had my scan today. There is a heartbeat so they have discharged me from the fertility clinic. I've sent in my form to book with the maternity unit so fingers crossed the next few weeks goes uneventfully for me

Congratulations everyone, some lovely news today, and I’m sending you all good wishes for happy, healthy pregnancies!

I think we’ve had two transfers Monday and Tuesday too? I hope those went well 🤞🏻

@LT103 thank you! My hcg came back at 230 this afternoon and been booked in for 12th Oct. Feels like so long away eh??? Fingers crossed for us both

It’s great to see some positive test results and also a heartbeat, such happy news!

I ended up having my transfer on Sunday as they mixed up the days, it took 4 attempts and over two hours before they put the embryo in but we got there in the end! Test date is 6 October so just continuing with all the meds and the fun waiting game now!

I hope all the other transfer go well this week!

So thankfully that’s done, the discomfort and slight pain was expected, but they put the wrong speculum in first, which has never been an issue before, so that was extra pain for no reason! She said she got a good sample though, so that’s something.

@OrangeBengal FFS. Wrong speculum?! I seem to remember my mock cycle being about making sure the consultant had the right sized equipment for everything and now it’s a different consultant so tomorrow will be interesting 🙃
