@Hopefortansy85 Try and leave all your negativity inside that clinic and as soon as you walk out be on positive vibes…you’ve got this 💪🏼 You have great embryos and remember how they said your womb lining was great 😊 Also they say your first transfer is like a practise round! 🤞🏼🙏🏻

@Hopefortansy85 what number transfer is this? How many are going back in today?

@PMAmostofthetime this is number 3. So half way through our embryos. Just one put back in, they are still good quality so he doesn’t want to put multiples yet. But maybe when we get past the next 4AB it might be worth putting the 4ac and 4bc back in together, I will talk to the consultant. Im 37 in November but he says it’s still young so they like to do single ones if you are under 40 and have good embryos. But every clinic seems to be different.

@Hopefortansy85 oh sorry I thought I read this was your second transfer! My clinic told me after three transfers with good quality embryos, if none of them result in pregnancy then it’s seen as implantation failure and they then start transferring two x

@LKSF i read the papers on RIF and it’s after 3 fresh high quality embryos or 5-6 FET consisting of between 10-15 embryos transfers. So no need to panic just yet. But I will talk to my doctor about it if this doesn’t work but they don’t seem worried, and I’m pretty sure because we are on a free FET package they want us to get pregnant ASAP because it’s costing them money, so he would suggest the quickest way to get us pregnant, one less procedure for him is more money in his pocket without the effort. But it’s not really something I want to worry about it right now I have enough to worry about just trying to stay positive

When is your OTD?

My af was 2 days late, giving the false hope 😅 again, but its all done now and just looking forward next Tuesday for my baseline scan. I phoned my clinic yesterday as I am so out of character...sometimes I need to step outside and breath before I say or do something horrendous! They said just need to keep in my mind that means the nasal-spray is working, and in a week time, when we start to add the oestrogen, it will ease. Thank God as my DH is very on the edge to just give it up as it does nothing good to our relationship...and of course we still don't know any dates for our house moving, which gives me more unwanted stress. I AM A 🐉🐲! 😅
Hope September brings more positivism for all of us! Xx

@Dobcaty my friend said she was exactly the same!! Awful with one hormone then fine once they were on the next! Just keep breathing and count to 10! My OH just walks off to the garden/garage to pitter about if I seen that way out! Just leaves me to watch rubbish telly! 🤣

@Dobcaty glad Vaseline scan is nearing a be kind to yourself the hormones and drugs are intense I had my midwife booking in appointment today and it's my first pessary free day as I'm now 9+1 I honestly feel better already Nausea still creeping at ahi time though morning sickness- yea right! X

Morning girls! It's been ages since the last post, definitely a busy few weeks behind me. Luckily as soon as I started the oestrogen tablets my mood lifted a lot. I don't say I am on the happy side always, but I blame the whole moving thing to it 😅 we are only 4 days away from completion & 5 days to the last scan and if everything goes well the following Tuesday is ET, and then the dreaded tww. 3 more days of work and then on and off for 3 weeks! I can't wait!!!

Glad you’re feeling better now you’re on oestrogen. Sounds like a busy time for you at the moment, it’s all gone quick though, fingers crossed for ET next Tuesday 🤞🏼
Yes I had my 10week scan last Monday…everything was all ok 🙏🏻 have my 12 week one in 9days so we’ll tell everyone else then!

@Dobcaty so glad everything is going well and that your feeling better in yourself.

I'm 11+3 today but my scan isn't until I'm 13 weeks so a week Wednesday and I feel like it's dragging- I even considered a private scan.

@LKSF I have a water infection which started as nothing but so glad I flagged it as it's quickly become painful and annoying so glad I'm already on the antibiotics. My Jeans also do not fit 🙈

I bought a bigger size but they also didn't fit- I refused to go bigger yet so I'm living in dresses and leggings 😂

@PMAmostofthetime definitely recommend a private scan…I’m so glad I had a ten week one. They’re so much more special than the nhs ones too! Are you feeling quite calm about the pregnancy? I’m still an anxious mess 🙈 If my ‘bump’ doesn’t look as big I freak out, if my boobs don’t hurt when I poke and prod them I freak out….driving the husband up the wall 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm out for a bottomless brunch today, I’ve told them all I’m on medication so I won’t be drinking, hopefully no one questions me 🤞🏼

@LKSF I've used the water infection one loads and now I bloody have one 😂

I've had a 6+4 week scan a 7+5 week scan and a 9 week scan so OH thinks I'm insane wanting another. I can't get one now until next Friday and it's only 5 days later my 12 week scan which will be 13 weeks. If I'm not consultant led with extra scans I'm going to book a 16/17 week scan.

I'm constantly thinking it's over, I no longer feel pregnant and haven't since 9+3.

Boob soreness is intermittent, nausea comes and goes- the jeans are definitely tighter but that may because I'm conscious of not calorie restricting myself.

Iv seen people due after me announcing on Facebook and they have bought loads and I wouldn't consider any of that right now.
No one knows x

@PMAmostofthetime yeah I feel exactly the same, I guess it’s normal especially when you e been through this ivf journey, I guess we’re just trying to protect ourselves by not getting too excited. Oh gosh really, yeah I couldn’t even consider buying anything yet either, I was half way through reading the maternity policy at work the other day and then stopped because I though I might jinx it x

@LKSF not long until your 12 week scan 😍 I'm a boob prodder too but not really paying attention to my tummy as it's usually a food baby! In the morning I'm slim, in the evening I'm massive! I can't imagine I would be showing until maybe 12-16 weeks so mine is definitely good!

We just had a private 10 week scan today, was a relief and just out of this world seeing him/her moving around...and then to hear the heartbeat was just wow! We surprised our mums by taking them there and there were tears all round! Just a beautiful experience ❤️

@PMAmostofthetime I don't feel pregnant which is why this scan was much needed. I have barely any symptoms and have been feeling like a bit of a fraud. But I only have 2 weeks now to wait for my 12 week scan so I can definitely hold out.

@Coops0406 aww that’s so lush that you took the mums with you 🥰such a lovely experience, I’m glad everything was fine…your 12 week one will be here before you know it!
Mines on Monday(I’ll be 12+3) 🤞🏼🙏🏻 I’ve stopped all my medication now(Clexane injections, Prednisolone and progesterone) so it feels a bit scary!! X

@Coops0406 glad all went ok, I'm counting down the days to my scan on Wednesday. It's driving me insane.
Have been soooooooo tired today though it's unreal napped twice x

Morning girls! @Coops0406 thank you for your question. I'm very well thank you, the transfer is next Tuesday :) currently trying to finish the moving so the little seed can come home with me to the new house 🤩
Not had a time to overthink anything, but sure it will change after the ET, but I will keep you updated!

@LKSF it was such a special moment and they were just over the moon to be part of it. I'm definitely scared about stopping the meds! But my tummy is so bruised and struggling to find gaps to do the morning and evening injections so will be nice to have a break! Plus I won't miss my alarm going off at half 6 at the weekend for my pessary and injection! 🤣
Hope you scan goes well! Is it the dating scan?

@PMAmostofthetime Wednesday will be here before you know it...and the tiredness is a really good sign! I kept fobbing mine off as me just being lazy, until we had the scan! Fingers crossed it's a beautiful scan for you 🤞🏾

@Coops0406 i thought I was just being lazy but it's literally started to take over. I'm fine one minute the next I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. I love naps right now.
I had a 8+6 scan so it's been over 4 weeks and it's hard, I tried to book a private one last week but they could only do this week on Friday and as it was so close to my scan I didn't book. There is no way I can go to 20 weeks if I'm not consultant led so I'll be booking private ones.

@Dobcaty Sending lots of luck to you, start visualising a new baby in your new house 🥰

@LKSF I don't think we are going to but we keep changing our minds.

Nothing about this process have been a surprise and my friends who have found out on some and not on others have said it's much more exciting in the delivery room. A quote a heard once was Natures biggest surprise.

I always said I didn't want to know, but then if everything is ok at 20 weeks, I want to get excited and buy stuff 🙈
I definitely won't have an early gender scan ( just another scan I expect due to anxiety)

So indecisive 🙈.
