@PMAmostofthetime Ah that’s exciting 🥰 they gave me a pic for my week 6scan but not my week 8, I think it depends who you get! but then I had to go to a nhs hospital as obviously my ivf clinic is in Greece. So you should def get a picture.

My parents, sister and two best friends know as they new when my transfer was so they were all worried and waiting! But I’ll wait to 12weeks to tell everyone else! I wish we could of kept it a secret from everyone because it wasn’t ‘exciting’ when we told them, it still had a negative spin because we had to be like obviously it’s such early days and anything could happen. X

@LKSF No one even knows we have been doing IVF, we have been trying for so long and so many people kept asking that I told everyone we wasn't having any children- so they are all going to be super shocked- I want to try wait it out as long as possible x

@PMAmostofthetime Aww lush, biggest surprise ever!! We didn’t tell anyone with the first three rounds and I kind of wish I kept it that way but I got fed up of ppl asking! Should of stuck to your story 🙈

@LKSF @PMAmostofthetime we've told loads of people! I blurted it out in my speech at my 40th party!! They've all known about our fertility journey for the last 3 years and have been through all the highs and lows with us, so we just figured that them knowing won't change the outcome and we deserve to celebrate any little win we get. I think it's completely the opposite of what anyone has done but we are just open books and it works for us.

@Coops0406 Yes of course, if something is going to happen it’s going to happen regardless so it’s whatever works for you 🥰

Nothing really happing with me (apart the stress of moving 🤭) and waiting af to turn up (again wearing white trousers today!!!)

Did you started to think about the baby's gender yet?

I think I literally said thanks for coming and we're pregnant! Whilst crying! Sounds so weird saying it!

Haven't thought about anything apart from constantly wondering if I'm still pregnant! I need this scan to come quickly. I'm back in work next week after 3 weeks off so that will keep me busy!!

@Coops0406 no, not even started yet! We're currently waiting our home demonstration date, which probably in the next 10-14 days and then we have the date for the moving, so it's a waiting game again (just a different TWW 😬😅), but I started to decluttering our stuffs, so now boxes and big black bags of rubbish stored in corners 🤣

Going back to work after 3 weeks it's going to be a big distraction for you, I'm sure! Just make sure you're take it easy, and little or no stress

@Coops0406 I'm usually an open book but for some reason I just don't feel like I can share this yet- we have had some difficult pregnancies recently in our friendship group and it didn't feel right sharing with then until we knew everything was ok- which thank fully it is now- but I want them to have their glory now that they can enjoy it and then we'll share ours.

I think park of it is protecting myself too- because atm people think we don't want any children of something happens and it never works I'll be the one who didn't want any not the one who couldn't have any.
I just don't want peoples pity I suppose x

@Dobcaty I am obsessed with gender atm 🙈.

I always said I didn't want to find out and OH always did.
We have totally switched positions.
He's convinced it's a boy and he has no preference he quite wanted a Daddy's girl.

I have been google what gender 3BA embroyos have been and everything.

But then I read a thread on here about whether someone should find out the gender and lots were saying- they didn't find out on one and did on another and preferred it when they didn't know x

Update from me- viability scan all went well- I'm 8+6 today and babies measuring 8+5 which they are happy with and a strong little heart beat- little wriggler already.

Found the cause of my bleeds I have a fibroid that's currently bigger than the baby!
They said it's nothing to worry about but if my blood group is rhesus negative I'll need anti D injections from 12 weeks as it will continue to break away and bleed.
I only need to go to EPU if it's painful or bright red.

Still don't believe I'm pregnant 🤰 🙈 x

@PMAmostofthetime Aww that’s good news 🥰 and glad they found the cause of the bleeds.

Its so surreal isn’t it, I had my midwife appointment today 🙈 and booked a 10 week private scan to reassure myself 🙏🏻

@LKSF yes got some pictures today too :) i should have my 12 week scan before the end of September so I'm hoping I can hold out but this was my 3rd scan. How are you feeling?

I now have night sickness- was just about to say just stopped throwing up when I had to dash and be sick again 🤢 sorry TMI. Not sure if I'd prefer it morning or night.

@LKSF @PMAmostofthetime yes it’s today Thankyou! I’m feeling less elated than the last two times. I’ve lost a bit of my umph the last few weeks, got a bit of negativity creeping in after the excitement that we had nice quality embryos, you then realise it doesn’t really matter about the quality, that doesn’t dictate if they will work or not. But as always I will just carry on, we just need one lucky embryo. 🤞🏻
i hope you are both feeling well, it’s a never ending rollercoaster this, even when you get pregnant it’s a whole bag of more worry!

@Hopefortansy85 good luck for today! Stay strong! The one we have in had the least chance and the one that failed last time was the best so who knows really. You just have to keep the hope up.

@PMAmostofthetime I'm feeling okay. Much like you @LKSF I have no sickness! I'm just tired and have sore boobs from the progesterone, but aside from that nothing which causes panic every now and then! My appetite is insatiable though!

@PMAmostofthetime do you now have to contact your GP? How does it work after your scan with the fertility clinic? Got mine a week today! Time is really going slowly!

@Coops0406 thanks I think that’s why it’s hard in real life when you are told something is the best then it’s the most likely to work, not the case with IVF. they might as well put them in randomly!
@LKSF i will take all the dust I can, would love to join you all with positive news. I think this cycle has been the hardest yet, been very tired all the time and it’s hard to stay positive when you feel exhausted and I’ve got a terrible hormone memory at the moment just general fuzzy head.
we have been watching a box set on tv and when you one of the characters died I cried for half an hour solid.

@Hopefortansy85 stick with it, sometimes the cycles where you least expect it gives you your surprise. Thinking of you today 🥰 what time do you go in?

@Coops0406 Thankyou I go in at 1pm, I’m a bit stressed out this morning we had a plan of things that we were going to do before and he has changed them so it’s just stressing me out.

@Coops0406 I contacted my GP surgery and the midwife called me back and I have a phone call booking in appointment this afternoon.

@Hopefortansy85 My last cycle I was less optimistic as with the first one I thought it would just work, so when it didn't I felt doomed. I still got excited after it was in though so hope you do too.
What grade embroyo are they putting back! I shave a 3BA currently at 9 weeks gestation today :)

@PMAmostofthetime im hoping I pick up a bit, I think I feel the impending doom of the 2ww! I have a 4AB going back in hopefully if it defrosts ok. I have another 4AB a 4ac and 4bc left. The last ones put in were 4AA and 4AB.
i guess every time you have one put back it increases your chances by 3 for my age I should be up to 50% chance but they say within 6 cycles most women of my age get pregnant. I just wish it would work, We have not had much luck in life, just one baby would feel like a blessing that would wipe away all that bad luck.
