Anybody having FET July or August?

Just waiting for my next cycle to start after a freeze all cycle. It should've been here last week but seems to be delayed so I feel like it's just a ticking clock. This will be my first FET, first ever transfer actually.

Anybody else in the same boat and want to keep me company?

Very, very faint lines meaning a BFN for me unfortunately. Going to ring the clinic in a bit as that’s 4 failed transfers and not convinced there isn’t anything else they can do…

So I'm officially 4 weeks pregnant 🥰 confirmed by Bloods today

@florafoxtrot I'm so sorry to hear that 😞 do you have any more embryos from this round? I really hope they look into it more for you, surely there are extra measures they can take after 4 failed transfers

We got our BFP on Saturday!!!! Absolutely over the moon (and constantly starving...). Scan booked for 16th August by which time I'll be 7+5

Been advised my first scan- 6 week scan is 9th Aug
Still got to take all the hormones / pessaries etc till then

I have asked numerous times whether anything else can be done and I’ll speak to them again later this week but I suspect there won’t be anything much. I still have one frozen embryo left.

I started testing with FRER's yesterday, from 5dp5dt, as I couldn't help myself. Absolute squinter on day 5 (so much so that my partner swore blind it was stark white) and a vvv faint line this morning. Trying not to let myself get hopeful at all as they're just so faint and everyone seems to have proper lines by day 6... I guess I'll test tomorrow morning and see what happens. I have this feeling deep down that it's a chemical. But I guess I need to ride it out...

@WildSheep my line on day 6 was vv faint! We got a squinted on day 5 too. Don't lose hope just yet 🤞🤞

Morning @Roobles79. Stressed out over here, had a dream I started bleeding 😩. Going for a progesterone test soon, hopefully that comes back normal.

@florafoxtrot so sorry to hear, hope you're looking after yourself 💛hopefully the clinic can help work out the best option for your last embryo, they do learn each time how you respond to all the different meds

@Roobles79 I'm doing ok thank you for asking, not been tempted to test yet but I probably will either tomorrow (6dp5dt) or Thursday. Keeping busy potching about the house and visiting people. How are you doing?

@thislittlebird hope the progesterone test comes back with good news for you to help settle your stress, how to the test is it a blood test?

@Roobles79 yeah blood test, my consultant said I could have it tested after my first failure. I don’t know if this is the right day but it should give me an idea of if the progesterone is working. I’m 14dpo today, 9dpt. Where are you now?

@thislittlebird ah okay that would be good if they can test it, might help settle your nerves a bit. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

I am about 5 days post transfer today, do you count the day of transfer as 1 or 0? I feel okay, just tired but that's probably because I'm not allowing myself any coffee. I also have cramps but that's the progesterone I'm pretty sure. I can't compare it to my fresh transfer really because it was so different, I remember feeling quite bloated and twinges but I think that the the stimulation meds from the fresh cycle. I'm going to try my best not to test until test day, 4th August.

Keep us posted how you are doing and results of your progesterone test. Did you decide to take the Thurs Fri off this week?

@Roobles79 thanks! Yeah that’s the hope. At least I can rule out low progesterone as an issue.

I think you count transfer day as 0. My app does that. I had twinges and things last time and obviously it was the progesterone.

I’m also waiting until OTD. Unless something makes me test early, like my regular hormonal migraine coming on OTD -1 last time.

Should get the results later today. I think I’ll book them off yeah, I don’t know what good I’ll be if I’m having a breakdown 😩

My period is starting, it’s due today. I’ll do the test later just to get it out of the way and report to the clinic.

@thislittlebird I'm so sorry. Look after yourself. I guess syou have had results back from the clinic re. Progesterone?

@Roobles79 yeah they rang me to say I need to take extra Cyclogest 🙄. I have to keep taking it until OTD. Sure, fine, whatever, I’ll take the stupid things for a couple more days if it makes them happy.

Oh I'm so sorry @thislittlebird that's awful. How much cyclogest were you on? I don't understand why they want you to keep taking it. Look after yourself.

@Roobles79 I was on 2 per day. I had to fight with them for a week to run a progesterone test on me, because I’ve had low progesterone results in the past but there it network was down. When I went today they’re still using carbon copy bloods slips. I’m now going to be on three per day until Thursday, I’ll raise this with my consultant next time.

@thislittlebird I would be feeling rather let down to be honest with you. That's putting it politely too. Thinking of you. Not to diminish the loss this cycle but, at least they can learn from this now and move forwards. Doesn't make the loss any better though I know. Take time for yourself. X

Thanks @Roobles79. yeah, I’m pretty disappointed to say the least. When I have another consultation I’m going to ask what they’ll be doing to make sure this doesn’t happen again. And I will want regular blood tests.

@Rosemary121 haha potching about I love that phrase. Me too, although not being very productive. I thought I had messed up the pessaries the other day and took an etzra one just in, case then thought I had overdosed, I rang the out of hours number but they never got back to me so I read from Dr Google that your body only absorbs what it needs, so I went with that. Who knows. I feel okay, nothing to report really. I've had a few twinges low down but putting it down to the hormones. Also feel completely exhausted. But haven't been sleeping well and no coffee! You are brave testing early, keeping everything crossed for you here! @agapanthus13 how are you doing? And @wildsheep?
