Hiya

Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

@Toon92 I hope it's just too early so confusing how all clinics have different testing days. Hopefully a FRER will have a more accurate result.

@PMAmostofthetime im well thanks. Trying to avoid testing / obsessing and just getting on with life, but difficult to totally switch off. I’ve very few symptoms beyond feeling shattered, which is great if everything continues ok but makes me wonder if anything is happening in there! My scans a week today so desperately hoping I make the next milestone. You doing ok?

@Agapanthus13 the same, Nausea gone, boobs are sore but literally only for a bit after progesterone pessaries. I'm exhausted though and thirsty in the night.

Mine is not until the 30th. I've not tested again. I'm going to test tomorrow though as I'll be 6 weeks according to the online IVF
calculator if I go by last period I'm 6+3 tomorrow.
I said I'd test once a week so I'm going to test every Wednesday until scan. X

critical time no to get from day 3 to day 5 blastocyst so fingers crossed all the way!! 🤞🏼🙏🏼❤️
no update till Thursday now 😵‍💫🫣

After my negative yesterday I’ve done a FR test today and there is such a faint line that I almost threw it in the bin! Nurse wants me to do another test on Thursday and see what’s going on. If it’s negative I need a review appointment and then they’ll book me in for a next cycle, said that that probably wouldn’t be until January!! That seems forever away. Thought it would get faster when you’re in the system but everything just seems to take so long.

@Tonim86 that’s looking promising that you got a faint positive today also so here’s hoping it was due to early testing.

january does seem a while away but it will soon come around, hopefully there’s no need for that xx

Update from me. Done 3rd follicle scan on Monday and they miraculously found the follicles and cysts that went missing at 2nd scan. Anyway now that they've been found again, they seem to be progressing nicely 😊 4th scan tomorrow and EC Friday 🤞my left ovary is so achey!

@NaomiNatNat Glad they did it properly this time. Good luck for EC Friday. I was really achy too- drink even more in this heat. Isotonic drinks also help x

@Toon92 did they give a reason to why Jan? are you self funded? I'm self-funded, the longest they wait is like 2 months or 2 bleeds. Crazy how these clinics are so different

@PMAmostofthetime yes I have one from Sunday but not from today. Just checked with OH and he can see a v faint line from this mornings too. Guess we will see on Thursday!

@NaomiNatNat its crazy isn’t it! I’m NHS funded for 3 cycles, this was my first. Unfortunately didn’t have any to freeze so would have to go right from the start again. It’s just such a long wait isn’t it! Just shows the amount of people that must be going through this.

January seems ages away. I am NHS 2 funded cycles though- all of Wales gets the same except if you are ex military and then you get 3 as the military pay for 1.

I had my first cycle in March- short protocol BFN no Frosties and 2nd in July long protocol I am 6 weeks tomorrow and I have 2 Frosties.

Yes First cycle- short/ antagonist I took Northesteroine to take control of my cycle then I was on Meriofert and Cetrotide.
Then trigger of Ovitrelle

This time down ref was Burserelin then Meriofert and Burserelin for stims then trigger of Ovitrelle.

I also took 600mg Ubiquinol before I started this cycle and up to EC for egg quality.

@Toon92 That's a clear line to my eyes 😃 odd how it fluctuates like that, I think as long as the line is getting darker than the previous one then you're good.
I didn't get any frosties 1st round either but I did get 1 nice blastocyst to transfer.
Lots of ladies on here were successful 1st round. Good luck 🤞

Hi everyone hope your all doing ok

Just had our genetic results back on our 6 Frosties

2 affected with my daughters disease
1 abnormal chromosomes

3 are fine for transfer but are all carriers (which is fine but still terrifies me)
The great news though is them 3 are graded 5AA, 5AA and 5BB

So we are very pleased waiting a call next week about when we have the transfer back in very excited and super nervous I feel like this is really happening now 😊

It is a very surreal feeling isn’t it. I’m having my egg collection tomorrow and it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster to get to this point and I feel the same as you as in wow it’s finally happening

@Tonim86 Those 3 sound super! Will you be transferring 1 or 2? I've asked if I could do 2 this time and they agreed.

@PositiveAnnie My EC is on Friday at 9am 😁 how's the follicles looking? I've only got about 10. Leading ones are at 1x22, 2x18 and 1x17mm. Not sure at what point they become over mature

@NaomiNatNat good luck also with EC collection sounds like it's going well I had a few bigger than 22 and they was fine I assume just one as last time worked with DD so no reason I suppose it won't this time either. I get scared at the thought of twins 😅 even though they are wonderful maybe too much on touch of DD needs x

I have 4 follicles but only 2 are promising. Thank you @NaomiNatNat and we are doing fresh transfer they were 19mm and 21mm yesterday the leading ones @Tonim86
