Hiya

Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

5 eggs!!!!! Over the moon!! Every follicle gave an egg!!! 2 smaller ones but they’re going to bring them on and hopefully get them good ❤️❤️
still totally out if it right now but at the airport on way home 🤣🤣 xX

@PMAmostofthetime It was an internal scan. Felt rushed and could tell the difference from my usual scan nurses. It's also who you get I've noticed 🤔 Anyway how are you? Any pregnancy symptoms? How many weeks?

@NaomiNatNat I'm 5+3 weeks.
I am more hungry, my boobs are really sore and still get weird cramps- oh and I'm extremely tired. I need naps or an early bedtime. Last night I also had a really vivid dream. I can not stand the thought of chicken breast not even cooked in a pasta or stir fry. It could be pregnancy or progesterone who knows 😂🙈.

@PMAmostofthetime sounds like really good symptoms to me lol I hope they're not too bad. Have you done your scan?
I'm feeling a bit gutted about the lack of interest in my scan today but happy my EC will be either Thursday/Friday next week 😁 gosh this is such a rollercoaster 🎢

@NaomiNatNat hopefully your next scan will be an attentive one.

My scan is booked for 30th August so I mol be 8+6 then. They usually do it a week earlier but I booked a staycation to take my mind off things incase- thinking things may not work out.

Ive had my first IVF cycle with EC on 25th July, we got 9 eggs, 8 were mature. 6 fertilised then on Day 3, there were 5 left and all with quite heavy fragmentation so was left feeling devastated. 1 made it to blastocyst and was poor quality so we were told it had a 20% chance. I’m 8dp5dt and my OTD is tomorrow but I’ve done a test today and got a very positive faint line - can’t believe it!! Added the photo but on the test it’s showing more than on the photo. Will test again tomorrow to make sure but a test 9dp5dt seems early compared to other clinics?

i think testing is around 10 days after transfer etc isn’t it, I’m not 💯 per cent sure but I think after a week from transfer from reading peoples posts after testing others have had there results xx

I’m absolutely broken.
clinic just emailed.
5 eggs retrieved, 2 immature, only 1 fertilised.
I was so so happy to end up with 5 eggs and within 24hrs we’re already down to 1!
this is so cruel. I can’t take any more 😓

theres still 1 egg going strong, i understand you’re disappointment but there’s still time for the 1 remaining and that’s all it takes, quality over quantity xx

@Kelb79 I completely understand how your feeling- fingers crossed 🤞🏼 this little egg is the one.
Your allowed to be sad and angry it seems so unfair.

Daily updates. Although I’ve emailed to ask if the other 4 have any chance at all or if they’re completely out - grasping at straws but it’s all I’ve got 😞
OH was an arse, he was still asleep and I woke him up to tell him, he could tell I was upset and literally just said “and you’re going to cry about it? It could’ve been zero”

Oh no @Kelb79 that’s so insensitive!! There’s still a chance with that one egg! Don’t give up hope.

@Kelb79 men are the biggest a holes on the planet at time’s, so insensitive. I don’t think they understand how much of emotional rollercoaster this journey can be

@Kelb79 My OH is not as brutal but keeps saying to me that we need to be positive and gets really annoyed when I'm not.

They don't get it like we do- they haven't got hormones rushing around their bodies.

Just ignore him cry all you want, in the shower if it makes you feel better- it does for me- I can be as loud and ugly faced as I want and no one's going to say anything and then later when your strong enough. When he complains there's no milk or his footy team least say going to cry about it are you something that has absolutely no impact on our life but like say our embroyos not fertilising that's ok.

He may also feel it's his fault admen see the fertilisation part as their job and can be defensive to protect their Ego.

When my OH is driving me insane I just say

There We Are Then- repeatedly. look at the first letters of each word. Being doing this for at least 10 years now and he's none the wiser 😂 🙈 x

@Kelb79 so sorry to hear this but like the others have said it only take 1 🤞 I hope it continues to grow for you. Oh sometimes men they just don't get it I don't think they truly realise how much we go through during the process

Tested positive yesterday and today is OTD - negative :( heartbroken.

@Toon92 do you still have your wee? I'd use a first response they pick up lower levels of HCG than Clearblue. You have an early OTD don't you?

Yes it’s early, 9dp5dt. I don’t have it but I’ll go get from FR and test again tomorrow but will still let clinic know today. Thank you.

Today is my birthday and I woke up to a little bit of good news ❤️ Our “one” is a perfect day 2 embryo - 4/5 cells no fragmentation. Trying to not let myself get too carried away and build my hopes up too much as I’m well aware how much things can change over next few days but nice to still have a little hope ❤️🙏🏼
